Hotel room was excellent, local area not the best but can’t knock the hotel itself!
5.0
Decent hotel and value for money!
Most of the rooms have had refurbished rooms.
Friendly 24 hour check in and decent bar and roof top terrace.
8.0
By the train station to easy transportation but far from nice places
2.0
It's old, small and absolutely not a 4 star hotel. The pool is not a pool, the hotel is old and decrepid. Needs updating. Area around it is dirty and felt unsafe. Checked out after 1 night.

Great hotel, amazing rooftop pool with an amazing views.
The buffet breakfast was perfect, lots of choice and very tasty, likewise the pool bar.
Room was clean and serviced daily.
The area isn't great but location is good, being very close to to the tube, a cheap taxi into town or a short walk to the start of the hop on hop off bus. We didn't have any concerns walking around the area.
8.0
Overall, the hotel was nice and clean, with a great view from the rooftop pool area. Staff are friendly. However the breakfast isn’t great.

Hotel is nice bit dated, area isn’t the nicest that it’s around.

Our family had a great stay and walked from the hotel to acropolis back and forth. The rooftop pool was small but nice. Athens is a pretty rough city, especially the city center. We will be back!

Excellent rooftop bar and swimming pool . Fabulous view of Acropolis. €7 euro taxi to Plaka and so convenient to Metro
10.0
This is well located for subway. Staff was very professional. The rooftop pool and bar are was well maintained and a bonus, with a great view of the temples atop the Acropolis
4.0
Extremly expensive for the type of hotel, rooms are old and not in good shape, you can hear everything form outside and inside of the hotel, personal of the hotel are rude.
6.0
It is a very rough neighborhood with lots of addicts in the streets.
2.0
Avoid to stay here if you are looking for a 4 starred hotel. 3 or 2.5 but 4? No way. Poor maintenance. Oldfashioned. Misleading photos. Commuting ok, Larissa central station and also metro station, both, to walking distance.
10.0
Very clean and updated. Near metro.

The front desk clerk has an abrasive demeanor but quickly provided me with the room. Beds were very hard not comfortable at all. I was on the phone TALKING and the walls are so thin the guest in the next room started banging on the wall. The price was good and the view From roof beautiful. 1 1/2 star. Q1

I loved their breakfast. Plenty of selections.
The renovated areas are very good.

Great stay at the Candia hotel, close enough to qalk to the city centre ~40 minutes. The rooftop patio and pool are gorgeous with amazing views of the city. Room had been recently updated with a large shower. Laundry is expensive, however they provide additional information on laundromats nearby as needed.

Nice renovated hotel in a very shady side of town but close to the metro/bus and train station. The mattresses were super hard. Ouch! Nice pool and rest area on the roof top with great view of the city,

The beds were very hard and the rooms are old and very outdated. The doors have scuff marks and large gaps between lock it felts unsafe. It was very noice and far away from the main attractions.

A wonderful hotel 3 minutes from two different subway stations. They were in the middle of renovation whe we stayed (January) but the restaurant, bar, and pool were all top notch. The staff were amazing and very well informed about the sights around Athens. I feel like we got our own customised tour guide! Our rooms had a view of the Acropolis, and the rooftop patio had an even better one! Definitely a gem and a bargin!
2.0
Hotel is going through some renovation and for 3 out of 4 days there have been horrible construction noises that didn’t allow us to rest and enjoy our time. Windows are not soundproof and hotel is located near by busy road, so sleeping was possible only with earplugs.
4.0
This building is not sound proof and one can hear noises from outside, near by balconies upper floors etc. It also has a very strong embedded smoke smell in the rooms. It’s awful!

Bad and old hotel
8.0
Good hotel in general in the middle of Athens, very close to the metro and most of the staff are very good and helpful.
The rooftop pool is amazing although it is a small one and the cafe/bar has an amazing view of the acropolis.
The area is not very safe, just stay near the main road and you will be fine.
10.0
The service was great - area was not the best. But overall it was perfect!!
3.0
The hotel had a nice view of the Acropolis from its roof top. The pool was essentially a large bath tub but the water was clean. Proximity to transit and coffee shops and restaurants is a big plus. The room we had faced the road and was extremely noisy. traffic noise disturbed us constantly. The staff was co-operative. No English channels on T.V. But generally a good enough experience.

Hotel is old and dated. Worst problem is the location, very close to an area of drug dealers and users. I felt very unsafe

Need extra outlets in the room that is more accessible

Had an excellent patio on the roof and the food was very good

The roof top terrace/bar is ideal for a relaxing evening with a wonderful view of the Acropolis. They serve nice food. The roof top pool is perfect for a dip in the Athens heat.

The hotel was clean. The customer service person was very friendly and helpful. He gave us directions on how catch the metro.

Candida hotel was excellent. My 3 kids loved pool on the rooftop. You can get beautiful views of the Parthenon especially at night. The food was adequate and the rooms were sufficient! Would definitely stay again!

We loved the rooftop restaurant/bar in swimming pool. It was so refreshing after a day of sightseeing in Athens in the heat. Also nice that you could get dinner at the snack bar or the restaurant. Really nice Buffet breakfast and a good location for the price.

Liked: This hotel is within 5 minutes walking distance from two metro stations.
Disliked: This hotel is situated near the metro track and I was able to hear the squeaking noise coming the train wheels in the early mornings and late nights.
