Staff was amazing!!! I am okay with it being an older hotel, but it was an issue getting hot water. Had to run it a long time to get it warmed up. On Monday morning, I was not able to get hot water, only sort of warm. This is why I rated it a 1 star on eco-friendliness because it was wasteful as far as water goes. Room was perfectly fine with a window unit A/C which I used often. The pillows did not have pillow cases on them though, which alarmed me. My friend and I both got acne during our stay. I am sure it was the pillows :(((

This place is filthy.

To start with positive, the front desk clerk was very welcoming and polite! The place is accessible to subway stations and you can get breakfast and Starbucks in a walking distance. If you stay in the hotel, you get discounts for parking.
Saying all this, the hotel is too old that AC and heater is bad. Carpet to old, bed to small for two people. The tub is rusty and the appliances are falling apart. There was no soap to wash hand. There was noise all night .
Over all , we stayed only one night!

So disappointed by the enormous amounts of dust especially around the heater (with some little wooden bricks under it, I was worried it will start a fire) and the filthy window was like a nightmare. Strange sounds coming from the bathroom. The hotel needs a renovation asap. Not worthy of the money.

The woman (Tenveer) at the front desk was the best . Very helpful and always with a smile .

The Night Hotel on Broadway is a great place to stay in NYC. Clean, affordable and a cozy place to rest your head each night. The bed was super comfortable. Location was great as the subway was a block away and you're sandwiched between Central Park and the lovely walking paths along the Hudson. We were there for 4 nights and on the last night the a/c unit would make some loud noises every once in a while but I don't believe it was on and there were some quirky placements of things like the hand soap dispenser in the shower and lotion dispenser where the handsoap should be next to the sink, but that wasn't a problem, just a funny thing. Other than that I would totally stay here again!

Note that there is a $14.99/night surcharge for internet, water and snacks that is paid on check-in. There were no snacks in my room, and the Wifi was spotty and frequently dropped. On the bright side, they were good about storing my luggage for a few extra hours after I checked out. The room was decent - as would be expected for a lower end hotel.

The front desk woman was so nice and friendly. I have stayed here before and every time she checks me in, she does it with a big smile. Very professional and friendly.

There were dirty stains in the toilet an tub. There was not enough soap. I had to request towels an soap. I had to run shower for 20 minutes to get hot water.

My room was clean, but the elevator carpet needs cleaning and it's difficult to read the numbers on the buttons on the elevator. Bed and pillows were comfortable enough, but it seemed like there was no heat in the room, so it was very chilly. I see a furnace and a window unit, but no heat function there. The rooms are very difficult to find- the hallways branch off and there are no signs with Room numbers pointing you in the right direction. Some of the room numbers don't even move in order. Service was friendly and someone was always present at the desk. No concerns there. I would stay at Night again, but there are things to improve.

Amazing hotel, friendly staff, clean, great location and good price. Close to the train station, bars and restaurants.

Room was really outdated no way to have a romantic atmosphere with a room that was basically a motel. Necessities required us to pick this hotel especially since we were looking to save on our trip. I understand supply and demand but almost having the same prices as one of the finer hotels and yet being so low grade just isn’t an appealing experience. Never again I’ll definitely have to try to schedule our trips better. No more last minute trips.

it was horrible experience, they tried to offer a better room all of which was like a nasty pay by the hour type of hotel motel wallpaper peeling off the walls rooms had weird smell, cracks on the walls, rust and old furniture. they refused to refund even though we didn’t end up staying. the accommodations were u acceptable for over $500/nt.

Not recommend this hotel. It is old and used, expect more for this rate, good it was only for one night.
Feeling of being in a dirty room,
I don’t recall if I ever been in such a hotel .
Got my lesson, stick to the brand names you can trust.

It was very old and not clean. The back of the toilet where the seat is screwed on was dirty. No bath towels in the bathroom only two wash clothes and a hand towel. And two of them had a hair in it.

Beds were Ok. There is a $15 per day fee for water and snacks that we never got. Wouldn't recommend the room coffee pods, bring your own coffee and small filter. No dresser or place for clothing. There is a good size closet. Comforter weas lumpy and not effective for warmth.

Very nice. Affordable based on typical NYC hotel tates.

For the price of the room, it was in poor condition. Walls had holes in them, wallpaper was coming off the wall, the rugs were filthy, looked like the bathroom was broken into and never fixed. The tub was chipped and the ceiling had mold. I can go on and on. This was brought to the front desk attention and they asked if I wanted the "engineer" to go to the room. I said no, that the entire room needs to be remodeled. I didn't feel safe as the room door had major gaps too so we placed a chair in front of the door. Glad we only had to stay one night. We got up early and hurried out.

Good: location and price.
Bad: It is a very old hotel, smell bad, tiny rooms, ugly bathroom, and some facilities in poor conditions.
You get what you pay for.

It was terrible. The room was inside. There were holes in the walls and the floor. The toilet didn’t work, and there was standing water in the tub.

It's a budget hotel, you get what you pay for. However somethings can be updated. I stayed there and the bed made noise Everytime I would roll to the other side of the bed.

We had a terrible stay. I was over charged and the manager never responded to any of my inquiries. The clerk at the desk sent me to a parking lot where I was charged for parking, yet he told another guest where to find free parking. The entire floor our room was on smelled of cigarettes, though it’s supposed to be a non smoking hotel. The clerk that check is in was horribly rude. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Rooms large and basically clean. A little worn down with peeling wallpaper. Great location on UWS

Lots of paint peeling in hallways, unclear signage om floors, dirty elevators

It’s an extremely convenient hotel and perfectly adequate. But our AC unit was very loud. The floor was uneven—seemed like they’d just put the carpet over an old repair that wasn’t finished. I’m not fussy but when you pay more than $350 for a room it seems like the floor should not make you trip.

It fulfilled my needs, staff were pleasant, location was perfect, rooms are dated, overall good for a couple of nights

Justin was great. Very welcoming and friendly.

I don't appreciate how personnel are somewhat dishonest when they say that a certain size room is not available although the app states otherwise. An upgrade is then offered to you so that you pay more for a room that's pretty much average just the size of the mattress is slightly bigger.
