My overall stay wasn’t good due to the construction and the loud noise the construction created that hindered me from getting adequate rest.

It is dated. But the room was good. It had the things I needed. The bed was comfortable. The fridge was not in the best working condition. Great location. Make sure you being lots of money for parking. Around 65 dollars a day.

I booked for a king size and double bed, but we had 2 double beds. The heater or pipes made a rather loud tapping noise at 6:00 AM and continued until about 7:30 AM. The carpet was worn and very dated. The shelf in the bathroom leaned so everything would roll or slide off. The side of the tub also leaned so it was hard to set anything on those well. There was one outlet that worked. There was only one office type chair to sit in, not others.

Awesome location, easy to walk to multiple places of interest. Staff were professional and friendly.

This was the worst place I ever stayed. Bed was horrible horrible. Sleeping under the bridge would be better.
You guys should remove this hotel from your list asap.

Old facility but they did OK by keeping the quality up--except the bathroom sink was very slow to drain. Housekeeping should check sinks and bathtubs/showers between guests.

Noisy hotel. I couldn't sleep well either night, as the train passes right next to the hotel. I asked to change rooms after checking in, but they told me the hotel was full.

Bed was uncomfortable, and the tv… very hard to find football games on Sunday. A guide would be appreciated. I checked out of the hotel room, left my phone charger. Went back 45 minutes and they had housekeeping look, didn’t let me check for myself. They said it wasn’t there, I knew it was up there. So I stated to them, “well your personnel must have taken it, since I can’t look for myself”. They didn’t rebut my statement and I left. Wasn’t my best customer service engagement.

Room said it sleeps 6 but really only sleeps 4 as there was no sofa or rollaway option

I had a great time at this location. This was my first visit to chicago and i wanted to be arpund the city center, and this was the perfect hotel for my budget, everything was well maintain and staff was friendly evenly allowing me back into the room after check put when i realized i had forgotten some items. Great especially if you are a traveller on a budget.

This was the perfect hotel for my quick trip to the city. The location is very convenient and the staff was super friendly. The room was a little dated and needed new carpeting, but it was comfortable anyway. The bathroom was clean and had great water pressure. All in all for the price and location, it was a good experience! Also the Thai restaurant next door was great!

Came recently for a business trip. The customer service and friendliness was off the charts! The walkability and location of the property was top notch for our needs. The lobby appeared newly renovated while the room itself was smaller, older, and still served it's purpose well.

Older buildings and rooms, as expected. Fine. Not bad, although one of our rooms had no water (they switched him). The night staff is VERY friendly and knowledgeable. The morning staff not as much — I tried to add my IHG membership number to my reservation as I’ve done in the past and they discouraged it. Checkout also took time. Most hotels allow an express key drop, but the person at the front desk took forever to look through everything for my checkout and then my associate for his room as well. So slow it actually made us late for our Uber.

The customer service of the hotel was Outstanding. The rooms could use a little updating, Maybe some new comforters, In this age, there’s usually many fridges in every room and that is an extra cost At this particular hotel. Overall Good price

I booked a (2) night stay. The second day of my meeting was cancelled due to widespread illness amongst the group.
I requested an early check out and credit for one night’s stay. The property rejected this request. Just terrible customer service.

We were cold the first night. They charge for checking in 15 minutes before 2! And we paid for late check out.
It was clean and the location was perfect for us.

Great view and good location for a first time visitor to Chicago. Easy to get to the Cultural Center, Art Institute of Chicago, waterfront and aquarium. The “L” was easy, too.

We were told we should be able to have a late checkout then was told it isn’t available. Carpet in room was stained and looked filthy. Worked for one night but won’t go back again.

Very basic hotel. Location is pretty okay just outside the loop. Walking distance to millenium park, riverside, loop and the museums district.

Very nice and helpful staff. Rooms are outdated, many stains on the carpet, grout in bathrooms needs replacing. Blanket on bed was thin, pillows and mattress seemed very worn. Extensive dust under the bed and in corners of the room. Looks like they recently painted our room too because of the paint stains on the carpet/floor. Towels and linens were clean.

Ore stay was ok but the room was real clean and our bed sheets and pillow case had blood stains on them!

Great and friendly staff, very affordable price when booked in advanced for major events, like a Bears game. Location was perfect with food and public transportation available everywhere.
Cash is not used at most places like hotel, overnight parking, or stadium.

First night was decent. Comfortable bed and pleasant stay.
The second day we had to moves rooms due to a leak of the pipes behind sink. This next room had bathtub way too high (close to 2 ft) which was uncomfortable and unsafe. We had an incident where one slipped in the tub and the shower curtain broke off. Upon looking at the scene looks like it’s happened before because there was mismatch tiles where the curtain attached to wall.
The next day they came without notice to fix the curtain but wasn’t a good time. Let them know that we’d be out later that afternoon and they can come fix.
I had noticed at an earlier time getting ice where the door didn’t shut if you just let it fall to close. So the next times I always made sure to close door completely.
Later that night we arrived to the room and the door was cracked open and the shower curtain was still not fixed.
Surprised we only say one bug crawl out of the bathroom too.
Plus sides of the room: comfortable bed and good price (but you do get what you pay for)
Also service was mixed. Some great interactions with some of the ladies at the front desk and the doorman, Arturo, was a great help and gave us great recommendations!

Hôtel and staff were just fine. The hotel feels a little tired but is centrally located and did the job.

Overall, I was satisfied with my 3 night stay at the hotel. The hotel is a little dated, but they are working on renovating it. I would stay again if need be. Oh, and the front desk staff and housekeeping were wonderful.

Everything was great but just found the bathroom a little tiny. It was hard to get ready and two people couldn’t fit in the washroom at the same time. I really appreciated the express check in and check out through the link on my phone.

Very good over all

Quiet, clean budget property at a great location. Super helpful staff. Great diner for breakfast. Room was small, though, with no desk or mini-fridge. TV remote needed batteries. Bathroom was tiny, without much space on the sink to set up your toiletries. Overall, I was pleased with my stay.

I had an amazing experience in Chicago. The hotel is in a very central location and you can basically walk to every major spot in town.
The staff is super kind and helpful. A guy, Arturo his name, has been the most kind person I could ask for.
The structure is old, yes, not recently refurbished, but clean and affordable.
I strongly recommend it!

Very friendlly front desk staff (Alex) and very helpfull staff to get a parking spot (security). Parking accros the street is very expensive. Use Spothero to secure a good parking garage at a reasonable price. Convenient and walking distance to restaurants and attractions.
