I never stayed there, I booked this place for my Son, who did not have an ID only a copy of it, so the desk clerk would NOT let him have the key, that being the case I asked for a refund, but they charged my credit card anyway. Now I'M FILING A DISPUTE WITH MY CREDIT CARD, TO GET MY MONEY BACK. HOTELS.COM IS THE VERY WORST.

The stay was average. The hotel was remodeling which was understandable. Besides that, the microwave didn’t work, which was a real inconvenience. The staff didn’t offer the WiFi password or extend any services or amenities when advised. The bed was horrible and the shower leaked water due to design.

For the same price we couldve stayed at better place down the road. We evacuated for hurricane Milton with 2 dogs, elderly mom and 2 dogs. We were in bottom floor in full bed with zero hot water whole time and they put my mom and sister in same room on a second floor. My mom is weak and on oxygen. We were supposed to get a king room and 2 queens. By time we asked to switch they had no 2 bed rooms left, we had to clean pool ourself and views and noises were of dumpsters and construction. Also got knock on door at 10 am 2 days before our check out from manager asking if we are leaving. Also we never got housekeeping except for having to trade towel for towel because they were low. We left day early and got refund for last day. Cherry on top of unnecessary(and ONLY time evacuating) was getting in catastrophic crash on way home with high unlicensed driver. Thank god we are walking and my dogs didnt die but my car is gone and thats another head ache that is no fault of this "resort". I laughed when i noticed that title.

Last minute booking due to another hotel being overbooked. Upon arrival toilet not flushing (purchased plunger), bugs in room, 1am in morning woke up to floor being flooded with water and saw the water running out of pipe with water wet on ceiling even above me in area. I walked to the office and was closed. I called Emergency number on sign and it just rang till clicked off over and over. Tried calling hotel number and also no answer. I had to throw out items damaged on floor and ended up staying in my car wide awake till morning. Morning grabbed my belongings that had put up high on desk and scrubbed my feet in pool till could get to a gas station to scrub my feet not knowing what was in the water all through the room. Went in office and told front desk agent what had happened and would like to be refunded for stay at least since had damaged property, room flooded, and no answer on emergency number. It left me with no choice, but to stay in my car wide awake till morning. I was told would tell management to call me and never did.

I've stayed at this hotel a few times so far & It's clean however it's old as well.
You have to keep in mind these rooms are like a mixed bag but I can't argue seeing the prices are uttlerly low compared to others. The check in was easy and quick plus there's no extra fees; yep you just get the key once you did your online booking from the office after you showed your ID of course then you can be on your way.
On that note "Office" , you can buy a few things from there such as food and laundry supples.

I usually travel 10-20 days per year, and have done so for over 20 years. I've found Homing Inn to be one of the worse places I've ever stayed at. It was neither clean nor safe. The smoke detector was missing from the plate on the wall in the sleeping quarters. I found a detector lying on the counter in the kitchen closet area. Several of the wall plates were missing from the electrical wall outlets. The apartment door showed signs of a forced entry, as it would not would lock securely. When locked, it would move in and out almost an inch even with the secondary lock activated. There was about a 1/2 inch gap along the entire height of the door. There was a 3rd flimsy slide bolt which could only be locked with difficulty. The bath tub/shower had no shower curtain. There was an inventory list of towels posted on the bathroom door(although there were some already missing). Toilet paper placed on top toilet and bathtub edge (TP holder missing spindle).I had to kill several roaches on the sink counter. (Fortunately it was in the morning just before check-out) Trash and broken furniture stored on the property.

I Did Not Stay here the place was a filthy mess after just being "cleaned". This must be a SCAM or something because the front desk said he could not refund my $128 dollar's I would have to fight that thru Hotel's.com . My 1 night down was to see my dying Aunt and this experience was horrendous!

2nd time we stayed here, This time it was horrible. Top of the fridge was either dirty or rusty, holes in the bathroom wall where fixtures used to be, cigarette burns all over the bathtub and bedspread, all the fixtures were painted over and hanging off the wall. I know it's a small thing but the soap dish next to the sink, i don't think has ever been cleaned and falling off the wall

No wifi. Third floor walk up on outside stairs. Sockets and outlets hanging from the walls. Not a single glass, piece of flatware, plate, cup, pan, etc. People screaming in the night. Police came and were there for most of an hour.

Paid for 2 nights, the second night couldn’t get into the room and had to sleep in my car! The “front desk” didn’t answer the phone all night it was very frustrating after working all day and assuming you would be able to get into the room you already paid for! Immediately left the next day and went somewhere else. It was not worth the money at all.

The room smelled bad. Dead roaches on the floor, a soiled towel left hanging in a shabby closet; however, none other towels in sight, clean or otherwise. The small table rocked back and forth. The bathtub was covered in mold. I cannot believe such unsanitary place is allowed to remain in business. I quickly left the room and retuned the key to the clerk, who did not even inquire why I left. So sadly I wasted over $100. This place should be shut down by the health department.

This place is not a hotel or motel it is one step below a crack house. We had booked for adjoining room but what we got were two separate rooms. These are not hotel rooms but old one bedroom apartments held over from the 60s. Cigarette butts and blunts used to smoke weed all over the walkways. The rooms smelled of weed and cigarette smoke everywhere. The smoke detectors were broken off the walls and missing. There was no hot water from the bathroom sink and the sink plumbing was busted and leaked if used. There was a small kitchen with an oversized refrigerator that did not cool off anything put into it. The microwave did not work! the plugs for the kitchen sinks were hard to get out and I expect that is where the cockroaches came from when we heard loud noises coming from outside our room. I got up and turned on the lights and cockroaches were everywhere. The A/C in bedroom was on constantly as it would not cool down the room and this was not even hot weather in Feb. We stayed with friends and slept on couches at their place. rather than do the full three night stay. The room we had for a lady and a 6 month old baby we made other arrangements for them as she did not feel safe for her baby. The reason for the trip was a family emergency support. Expedia should not list unsafe and not for purpose rooms on their site. Please read the other reviews on this location the one that are bad are not wrong! I took pictures of this room as well.

From the time we arrived the smell was awful they had no paperwork on us (they did not know we were coming). Third night there someone tried to break into our room at1:30am. We tried to stick it out because we thought we would never get a refund and we were right. VRBO was no help with our complaint at all. Bugs were coming out of the wall sockets. We were misled and and shystered by the management of the facility and VRBO who made this property available, shameless. Absolutely 0 customer service or protection, beware. No joke this place was scary and VRBO will never be there to assist in the event of vacation disaster. We will never use VRBO again. Stay away, its not worth the problems

I know it's the lowest priced place near the beach, but it was still overpriced. The bed was comfy (but squeeky) and everything else in the room was pretty bad - old, dirty, and distressed, but not in a "shabby chic" way. Both nights I was there (and I did think about going elsewhere after the first night but decided to just abide), several other hotel guests were yelling at each other on the balcony outside my room - swearing, talking about drugs....If I had had kids with me I would not have stayed a second night. Spend a bit more a night and stay elsewhere.

I would not stay here again. This is one of those hotels that double as homes for people. It is old and run down. There were no dishes, utensils, coffee maker...terrible place. went down the stairs one night smelled marijuana. When I left there was a woman at the front desk who was definitely on some form of amphetamine.

It is nothing like the picture that u show it to be .there was no maid service, If you need clean towels you had to ask and then ,just maybe you might get one or two.Sheets were were never change The room was never clean when we were there. I could go on , but i think you get the picture.

We were traveling with 2 small children. When we went to check in they tried to place us in a dingy apartment with 1 bed, even though we were supposed to get 2 beds. When I said that wasn't going to work & I'd need to find other accommodations, the manager agreed & said I'd have to contact Home Away/VRBO for a refund. Then the real nightmare began. First the site was down for maintenance so no one could help me. Then they insisted that the manager needed to do the refund (???) even though he's not the one who charged my card. I have spent several hours with the help line trying to resolve this to no avail, so I'll have to contest the charge when the bill arrives!

WiFi did not work in the room only around the office area. Pool was not heated. Toilet was broken. We tried to cancel the remaining two nights and met with total resistance.
