Great pool area. Convenient attached restaurant.

Loved the pool, hot tub and sauna! All worked great.
Tons of crumbs in hallway on old, dated, dirty carpets. I tipped anyway, but there really were excessive foodstuffs all over 2nd floor common areas.
Shower smelled musty and much like unwashed linens.
Room was nice. Comfy beds, great sleeping conditions, quiet and dark.
Breakfast was a sad state of affairs. Lukewarm coffee and microwaveable sandwiches.

We like the Plaza. The room was clean and smelled nice. Staff was great. The only downfall is that the beds aren’t great. It’s not super fancy but it works.

Pool is great! Big area for kids to play!

Third time this year we have stayed at the Plaza . Great to see the grandkids and staying there made it extremely comfortable. Can't wait to get back

When we pulled in there were no cars in the parking lot. That should have been our 1st red flag. We travel on our motorcyclye alot and for $170 a night we were so disappointed. Of ALL the rooms available, we got a room with a roof view. There were cob webs in the room and peeling paint. The continental breakfast, z5was gross. The coffee was cold, the eggs were rotten. Also, after a long ride, we like to spend some time in the hot tub...didn't even work. We ended up cutting our stay short.

A couple things that I didn't like was:
1. One side of the bed only had one plug in besides the lamp plug. My husband and i both had phones and cpap machines. So I had to have my phone plugged in by my husband. Inconvenient for night time trips to the restroom.
2. There was dirt and plastic pieces beside the bed and behind the bedside table with only one extra plug.

Love coming here when in town! Large room with living room is great for our child with disabilities due to wheelchair and equipment

Overall, we loved our stay. The family suites are great size, kids loved the pool. Nice having a restaurant attached.

I liked that it was easy to get to. Also our room was on the 4th floor in the corner. We had absolutely no noises. Was exactly what I wanted. The only thing I wasn't impressed with was breakfast. It was a frozen breakfast sandwich to warm in a microwave. I'm sorry but that's not a continental breakfast to me.

Comfortable room and bed. Service was kind and effective.

Overall enjoyed ourselves, except found two bugs as we were packing up to check out! Room could use a deep cleaning!

Great room and customer service

The hotel was quiet. But the room was not up to standards for a place that charges so much per night. We stayed there for 4 nights, asked for our room to be cleaned each night, and had an ant issue. The toilet was filthy. Even right after a cleaning. The restaurant screwed up my order; the pizza was undercooked and the jumbo wings were anything but jumbo. I don't often complain about places, I am usually one to not do a review but I want to get the word out of how disappointing this stay was. When I visit Winona again I will be looking to stay elsewhere. When I checked out, the staff apologized and did give me a discount.

Large double room! Spacious bathroom! Decent breakfast options. Ice water in the lobby is a great touch.

I was there 3 days, checking out on the 4th and my room was never cleaned.

The room itself was fine - a good size, quiet, and seemed fairly clean except for a little spot in the corner of the bathroom floor (there was a little bit of some type of red substance there). Breakfast was good and pool area was decent.
The biggest issue that my family and I had was with customer service. When checking in, we tried to ask about what fun things there were to do in town. The first person checking us in literally said “Well, there is really nothing to do here in Winona”. She then called over a colleague to see if she had any ideas, and this second employee told us (with a rather crabby tone) to just look at a pamphlet at the edge of the counter and that she couldn’t help more because she said she was busy doing her HAIR! I have a sister who is going into the hospitality industry who was laughing about the fact this is exactly what NOT to do when you are supposed to be working the front desk. It just did not set a very good tone for the stay. We had a few other interactions like this with the second employee over the entirety of our stay, which was very off-putting.

Overall the stay was fine. Had to request to have the toilet unplugged. Kind of an annoyance. The breakfast was not very good. Much better at Hilton’s.

Front desk and restaurant staff were friendly and professional. The pool, spa and sauna very well maintained. Room was clean and comfortable. The property was fully booked when we stayed, yet it remained quiet and orderly the entire time.
