They’re have an excellent breakfast buffet but only used room service once for garlic bread Can use the free water taxi to get to restaurants but it takes a bit of walking and time We used Uber Eats almost every day and took Uber to see a movie and eat out one night The lift from the street level to hotel was broken

Really enjoyed our stay at The Point Hotel in a balcony suite. Pros - location, excellent service, comfortable bed, living area with balcony and view, free car parking. Breakfast inclusion well worth it with a great selection and outstanding service. Cons - tired bathroom with shower over bath, hot water in the shower was in and out, non-opening windows and balcony door in bedroom, delivery charge for room service. Will absolutely stay here again. Was close enough to the CBD without all the added costs. Highly recommend starting your day with the breakfast option, finishing with cocktails in The Eagles Nest.

We have been regulars at the point but won’t be going back. We choose the point for location,ev charging but the hotel does enforce ev you parking bays so everybody park there and won’t move them. Since last visit they now only have buffet at $42 ! They are also now charging $20 for parking which often have no spots available. Rooms that face onto the expressway are extremely noisey and not good for sleeping. What was a great getaway hotel is now disappointing won’t be back.

Have stayed at this hotel in the past & liked location & rooms. This time however I was allocated an unrenovated room facing very busy loud road and room though tidy bathroom definitely needs work & lighting. Signage indicated patience required due to computer upgrade & it was required, every question required time as did check in.

We were in a high grade room so review based on that. All good. But noisy road, but not big issue. Staff all exc. Breakfast good, some will moan about price. Could do with block out curtains where the blinds are, as they are fairly useless. But all minor points. Excellent generally.

Cleanliness was fair, I understand it's hard to clean everything, but I don't the upper level rooms were left in the same state. No soaps in dispenser, very cheap awful towels. Walls have marks and patches that require repairs. Have and will stay at another property nearby that's cheaper and nicer rooms. The Staff, Restaurant for Dinner and Breakfast buffet was the highlight of the venue.

The Point is often cheaper than city hotels and you get free parking. Beds are uncomfortable and rooms dated and needing to be renovated. Reception staff are always friendly

I’ve always had a wonderful time staying at The Point. The location is top notch for city or Valley and so close to some of the best eateries in Brisbane. Large guestrooms, clean well-appointed bathrooms. Free parking is always the bonus. We stayed during Riverfire in Room 615 and despite being told we didn’t have a city view, we had the hugest window to see the fireworks from South Bank to the CBD. It was brilliant.

What an awesome place to stay! All staff were accomodating and friendly, special mention to Summer who welcomed us and acknowledged us every time she saw us walk through the lobby. Secure parking available with a short walk to public transport to get into the city centre. Would definitely stay again

I contacted the property immediately after booking, and then again shortly before our stay to confirm the view we would have from the balcony suite we booked. The information we were provided and upon which we planned our stay was incorrect. When we spoke to reception to have the matter addressed, they gave us a card to view an alternative room to determine if it was more suited. When we entered the room, there were other guests in the room which was a shock to us and to them. Very disappointed. They said because we had booked through a third party, there was nothing they could do.

We were only staying overnight and needed a quiet space and good sleep. Our room and bed were lovely and comfortable and we had a great, restful night. However, WHAT is with the shower?! The shower head was nothing short of useless - worst ever. We chose to have breakfast on site for the convenience before another day at an expo and that was a terrible decision. There was NO love in the breakfast. Lovely waiter who took the extras off because my eggs were liquid on the plate after I specifically asked for them to be cooked more, but if he had not, it would have been over $80 for bascially bacon and eggs with coffee for two. Would not make this mistake again. Disappointing.
