The hotel is right next to the Tres Cruces bus station, which was perfect for us, as we made several day trips from Montevideo to Punta del Este and Colonia. The staff was extremely helpful and very friendly, and the room was clean and the beds comfortable. The location, while ideal for travel, is in a rather sketchy neighborhood that didn't feel safe after dark (lots of homeless people milling about), so I would recommend exercising caution. That said, we were pleased with our stay and would book it again under the same circumstances.

Booked this hotel knowing I was coming in to the bus station, but not realising it was across the road from the bus station! Super easy access to all things to do and see in Montevideo. For $10USD/day, for what is available I wouldn't say the breakfast was worth it, but apart from that, the hotel was great! Staff were helpful and nice, and the room itself was spacious and nice

Hotel is old but very clean and staff are very friendly. Bus station is on the opposite side of the street so easy to get to the airport and other parts of the country.

I travel quite a bit and this is the worst hotel during my 5 years of retirement. It wasn't one issue that made this the worst, but rather a series of annoyances that made it pooer to say the least. Firstly, upon entering my room I was confronted by the noise of the bus station across the street. I booed Days Inn because of the proximity to the bus station but never considered the fact that buses passing by could just about look into my window on the first floor. I asked for a room change immediately which was denied without adequate explanation. My Spanish is poor but there was no need to be curt. As I'm unpacking the hotel maid enters my room without even knocking ! Later in the day I realized that I did not know the time for breakfast. I was told 7:30 so the following morning I went to the lobby assuming the kitchen was on the main floor, but no it's on the 10th floor. Why couldn't this have been conveyed to me when I inquired about the time ? After 3 nights I realized that I was given the worst room in the hotel. The maids headquarters I found was directly across from my room. I could go on and on about the flapping flags above my balcony, the rusting towel racks, being charged for breakfast when it was included in my reservation etc etc.

Air conditioner did not work. Noisy. Poor breakfast. No vegan options. Dirty and sticky floors. Area is pretty dangerous, even for locals.

Very basic room, tiny fridge, no microwave. If you're looking for very basic, this is it. Breakfast is also very low key and low protein. Left hungry. Easy check in, clean.

Hotels.com was responsible for not giving us the cancellation requested due to corona virus situation.
We are good customers of hotels.com but this attitude of not responding was the worst .
The hotel received the money, and coul possibly rented again. Hotes.com benefited from that too, but we got the rotten end of it

Couldn't use the hotel because my fiancee didn't have her id with her. I had mine, and the check-in went smoothly, but they didn't even allow her to go to the room to at least take a bath.Completely dissappointed by the hotel.
