Music in hallway was so loud it kept us awake the whole night. Bare bones. No hand cream only one small soap.
0.5 / 5.0
NO service to room (no trash pickup, no bed making, no new towels) despite our repeated requests and their assurances. Nothing was done. Total neglect.

I had a very nice stay. The only surprise was I expected housekeeping for a six-night visit.

Everything was fine until the morning for breakfast.
We paid for the breakfast but the hotel said it wasn’t showing up in the computer, ended up we had no breakfast.
I checked my Credit card that hotel.com did charge me for the breakfast already.
Then my husband called hotel.com, after a while talking to the machine, “They hang up on me”?! He was angry enough to tell me that I am done with hotel.com. Never again.

Great room, lets you customize temperature which is huge for me. The beverage prices are crazy though - $8 for a can of Starbucks. The lobby AC doesn’t seem to work. Friendly staff.

The housekeeping at this facility was pretty poor. The bathroom had hair on the floor and more hair stuck to the bottles of conditioner and body wash in the shower. When I called to complain, the front desk manager simply said "Huh." He said he would speak to housekeeping and have them come the next morning (it was late) and clean the room. They did not clean the room.

The location is fabulous being close to SF International Airport- We drove to the Bayside View Trail and enjoyed watching the planes fly in and out over the water - the property itself was lovely. Staff are friendly and very accommodating. I was able to enjoy the town of San Mateo as well as drive over to the wharf in San Francisco-Perfect 10☆☆☆☆☆

Very clean hotel. Great stay.

Only negative was no late check out accommodation. When the rooms aren’t sold out the next day this should be doable especially as we only stayed one night and clean up was minimal

Had a very nice one night stay prior to flying out of SFO. Property is newly renovated. Room was very comfortable and quiet. Enjoyed a nice meal at the bar and the service was great.
My only frustration was that the shuttle to the airport started after when I needed to head to the airport so a $30 trip to the airport was unexpected.

The hotel in general is excellent conditions. What we dislike y that they don’t clean the room daily unless you ask for this daily.

I was a bit worried while reading the reviews for this hotel, but when we visited, the hotel was completely renovated. The new remodeling was extremely a delight to experience as it was very modern and clean. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience here and am planning to stay here again when we decide to tour around San Francisco if needed. Thank you for such a pleasant stay!

Friendly and welcoming staff. Great property. Regularly scheduled shuttle service with plenty of room for passengers made getting to the airport easy.

TV didn’t work when we arrived and the toilet was making loud noises when we flushed the toilet. We did not have any shampoo.

Service provided was beyond expected. Any problems we had during our stay, staff was able to assist us in a timely manner. There was said to be construction being done during our stay, but the construction did not bother us one bit which was great. It was almost as if construction was not being done. We stayed for 6 days and our stay was very comfortable and relaxing. Will stay again in the future.

The place is under major reconditioning project. I was looking for a quiet night after 14 hour flight and received it with a very clean, recently revamped room.

We needed a place to stay for an early morning flight out of SFO. The Bayshore is close to the airport and had a reasonable rate. Unfortunately the hotel was under renovation so it was essentially a construction zone with poor signage. The entry was block so we had to find an alternative door that had no sign! When we finally found our way in to the temporary lobby their computer was down so we couldn't register! We decided to get something to eat and then came back an hour later. We went to Max's Restaurant which used to be a pretty good place but is now very mediocre - don't go there. When we got back to Bayshore their computer was working again and we could register. The room was actually OK. Reasonable clean and comfortable. Our room faced the bay where planes are on their landing flight path for SFO. Fortunately there are not too many planes at night because you can hear them decelerating. Overall, once we got into the room our stay was OK.

Firstly, though the website said that "Work activity may be noticed in some areas of the hotel during your stay" is technically true, it's not accurate. The whole hotel is ringed with construction fencing with signs saying: danger-hard hat area. They've cut back to 40 rooms, and it seems like most essential functions have been restricted to a single hallway. There is no airport shuttle or restaurant (not sure if there ever was). It was really dispiriting to arrive there after a very long day of travel.
However: The staff kindly referred us to the DoubleTree Hotel across the parking lot and their restaurant, as well as the Hilton across another lot. The room on the one active floor was actually not bad; dated, but clean, with a king bed and the nicest mattress we had in 2 weeks of travelling. The bathroom was decent with good amenities, and had a shower massage shower head that was really nice, a welcome treat after a lot of time spent schlepping luggage. The wifi was free, and they also had breakfast, like real/cooked food which we missed.
So, I don't know if I'd have chosen the place had I known they were so very noticably undergoing renovation, but I spent most of the time in our room, which was discounted due to the on-going work, so, money saved.
I expect the updated place to be worth a look, and hope by then they have an airport shuttle in place, and the restaurant back in service.

They had a nice place for breakfast

They are in the middle of a complete remodel and update but we were never inconvenienced
3.0 / 5.0
They had no bar which was disappointing and when I went to get a bottle of wine I discovered they only had white wine.
Parking was WAY too expensive for 1 night.

I was surprised at check in that i was being charged an extra $20 per night for parking my car. This was not evident during the booking with Expedia. I had already reserved parking for the next 30 days at the lot across the street for $10 per night.
