This was our honeymoon. The hotel never informed us there would be roadworks outside the main entrance. This also resulted in NO water on the first night and barely any water on the second day. There was no hot water for the entire stay. We decided to check out at 7pm on the second night as the hotel could not guarantee any water. This was all very disappointing and not in keeping with a 5* hotel. I have asked the hotel for a full refund and expect hotels.com to refund me in full next week.

Not a 5 star hotel. Avoid at all costs
Great location, but an old run down dump of a hotel with incompetent management.
The water heater went out for a full day forcing us to take an ice cold shower on a day when it was snowing in Paris.
The hotel’s response, “sorry, what if you want us to do?”. Not good enough…
Disappointing place. Avoid.

At checkin, a spider fell on me from the ceiling. I killed it using one of their business cards.
I asked if they had a room with two beds. I was booked in an executive suite. I told them that I would downgrade to a smaller room if the smaller room had two beds. I told them that I would be fine to keep the higher room rate in exchange for the second bed in the downgraded room. They tried to upsell me to a room with a bed, and a sofa bed as the second bed.
We decided to keep our original room.
Upon arriving at our room, we found sesame seeds, and open chocolate wrappers all over the room. My child is highly allergic to sesame seeds. We asked them to clean the room. This didn’t happen.
The heater in our bedroom was stuck to on. The bedroom A/C was not working. The bedroom temperature was 25.5C. They suggested that we deal with the temperature since we were only staying for one night. After calling multiple times, they agreed to supply us with a standing fan. It was still very hot in the room. But there was some airflow. They supplied the fan after I mentioned changing rooms, or getting a refund.
The shower room. Paint is peeling everywhere. It’s on top of the towels. We used the bottom towels.
The only upside was the washer / dryer. They are slow, but they work.

We stayed for 5 nights at La Clef Louvre. Our experience was great for first time visitors to Paris. One of the best locations, very accessible to anything needed and could just walk to the Louvre. Had great walks everyday around the area. Property was great and staff was extremely friendly.

My wife and I stayed here for a few days when celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary. The hotel is located just a 5 mins walk from the Louvre but is tucked away from the busyness of that area. We got the train from CDG and walked from the nearest station. It was about a 13-15 min walk with a suitcase and was absolutely fine.
Upon arrival were greeted by lovely staff when we arrived, offered a drink and shown all of the facilities around the lobby. We had booked a premier suite which was lovely - we had told them we were celebrating our anniversary so were greeted to a bottle of champagne, a box of fudge, balloons and rose petals everywhere which was such a nice touch! The room had a little kitchenette with all you would need to cook for a couple (though we didn't use it) and a washing machine. The bed was actually two beds pushed together - we would have preferred a double bed, but it was fine, and the giant round top bath in the room was gorgeous! It also had a decent size en suite with a large walk in shower. We were really surprised by how quiet it was with the windows shut as there is a busy cross junction just 30m from the hotel, but we couldn't hear it at all.
They have a help your self/honesty bar in the lobby which was a really nice touch, though we didn't use it as we were out and about most of the time.
The hotel is in a great location and most tourist places are walkable if you are willing to. Would absolutely stay here again!

Beautiful and convenient property and close to the Louvre.
Spent a few nights having drinks and late night bites at Cafe Comedie (corner building & across the street). Very good experience.

Disappointing Experience for a Five-Star Hotel**
I recently stayed at this hotel in Paris, and overall, I found the experience quite disappointing, especially considering the high price and five-star rating.
**Pros:**
- **Location:** The hotel is in a prime location, surrounded by great shopping areas and easily accessible to major attractions.
**Cons:**
- **Cleanliness:** The hotel did not feel clean. The room was stuffy, the rug was dirty, and the overall ambiance was not up to five-star standards.
- **Elevator:** The elevator was not functioning well, which was an inconvenience during my stay.
- **Front Desk Staff:** The professionalism of the front desk staff was lacking. Their uniforms did not look professional, which affected my first impression of the hotel.
- **Room Amenities:** The hotel was surprisingly stingy with coffee and water. For a supposed five-star hotel, I expected more generous provisions.
- **Safety:** The bathtub in my room felt unsafe, particularly for older guests. While I am not elderly, I would be concerned if I were traveling with an older family member.
- **Service:** The overall service did not meet the standards of a five-star hotel. It was adequate but far from impressive.
Would I stay here again? Maybe, but only if the price was significantly lower. Now that I am familiar with the area, I believe I could find a better option that offers a more satisfactory experience.
Overall, stay primarily due to the location, but not due to the hotel

Great property and location in a beautiful area of Paris. The hotel and room met expectations for a higher end property and experience. Hotel staff was wonderful and responsive. This is a busy area with a lot of dining, shopping, and tourist activities. The metro is a block away and we were able to get to all of our destinations easily and safely within 20 minutes. Would stay here again.

The hotel is beautiful and the reception staff were exceptionally helpful given that the room that I had booked was not what I got upon arrival. They were able to pull a rabbit out of a hat and get me a room, although it was a downgrade from what I paid. That said, that was not their fault. The photos are not completely accurate and need to be corrected for the premier suite. Also, when I asked for a plate of fruit one morning for room service, that request was denied as I was told I had to have and pay for their full breakfast, which I did not want or need. Not acceptable for a hotel of this caliber.

The location is good, but the isolation is not that good, can hear sound from outside and upstairs.

When we checked in, I was told I had to pay a tax of a little over $100. Don’t know why that wasn’t disclosed on Travelocity. They also had no AC running and the heat wouldn’t turn off so they had to send a technician to kill the breaker. We just kept the windows open to keep the place cool. It worked, but that meant a lot of street noise and also no heat in the early morning when it was cold. Hotel staff were very polite and responsive.

We recently stayed at La Clef Louvre Paris hotel that perfectly blended convenience and cultural immersion. Nestled within walking distance of iconic landmarks, boutique shops, diverse restaurants, and enriching museums, this hotel provided an ideal base for exploring the city's vibrant tapestry. The staff's warmth and the tastefully decorated rooms added to the overall delightful experience, making it a quintessential Parisian getaway.

We booked a family suite and our nights were horrible. We could not sleep for 3 out of the 4 nights. IT WAS AS IF WE WERE SLEEPING ON THE STREET.
The trucks and cars were zooming all night. One night we were able to sleep was because we were so tired and jetlagged and we didn't notice anything. Other nights were consistent noise all night. Not worthy of a 5 Star resort and the money we paid for your venue. We would definitely not recommend this to any of our friends.
