This hotel is absolutely stunning with all you could ask for from being a quick drive into Gordes and near many amazing little towns to an enormous exterior & interior pool, multiple picturesque places to dine and has its own spa!

Well being, and calm and very comfortable...and beding condition is super..so let us deep and well sleep..Also relieved travel fatigue...Dinner is fascinating and deep flavor wine...but less kindness of front desk...But I wish to revisit in the next time of iune next year.

Hotel is beautiful and it is a hidden luxury that we love.

Nicest hotel I’ve ever been to. Service was excellent and the views at the hotel were amazing.

The hotel grounds and room are beautiful as ever. Service was average except in the restaurant which was both very expensive and absolutely terribly decayed since our last stay several years ago. We were served dishes at dinner that had no resemblance to menu description. Ordinary salmon was described as gravlax. After long and specific discussion with our waiter about cheeses we liked and did not like as well, identical cheese plates arrived to my wife and myself that in no way reflected the preferences we had talked through. We did not return for dinner to the once lauded hotel restaurant, but then found each morning the eggs offered for breakfast were cold and tasteless. To be fair the breads and yogurts were superb and plentiful, but we had experienced and expected much better food and service after past stays at Les Bories. Without changes in management care and ambition, we are unlikely to return to what had been a source of real pleasure in prior years.

This beautiful property is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the wonderful environment that surrounds it. The amenities, gardens and views from the property are amazing.
A little far from the Gordes town but they offer a free shuttle service.

The staff could not have been less helpful. Very surprising for a 5 star hotel and far below our expectations.

Great location & outdoor. Staff is nice. But the looks quite old, from our point of view it is a good 4 stars but definitely not worth 5, and the price is not justified.

First of all, the location is picture-perfect! Seriously gorgeous! It is a quiet hotel. I believe our grandson was the only kid there. The pool was nice. The fairy garden was an unexpected surprise. My grandson was in heaven running through the paths and finding all the fairy trees, caves, and other secret places. He also enjoyed playing table tennis.
The room itself was okay. I loved the bathroom because it had large countertops which is difficult to find in hotels these days. The shower was a bit tricky -- it took about 10 minutes to find a temperature that wasn't cold or scalding. The Nespresso maker only came with 2 pods for espresso-size cups, which was disappointing, but the cappuccino at breakfast was delicious so that made up for it.
The buffet breakfast was good. The indoor and outdoor pools were nice, but the floors around the indoor pool are slick when wet! We did not use the spa facilities. The fitness center is small but adequate. We had lunch by the pool one day and the food was good. The food and drink menu are limited though.

There are 5 star hotels closer to Gordes but Les Bories is only a short drive away and a beautiful property with nice views, so no real sacrifice. Our room was very comfortable, breakfast very good, and one dinner we had was excellent. Staff are wonderful. Highly recommend this resort.

Though only there for one overnight stay, the property is absolutely gorgeous, staff was very courteous and the rooms were perfect. Afternoon tea was great as was the breakfast.

Beautiful property . Everything very scenic, great pools and excellent food and restaurants. Staff very helpful, particularly at reception. Anais was the receptionist we saw most; she was exceptional, as were the others we dealt with.

We stayed here for a portion of our honeymoon trip through France and it was exceptional. The food is superb. The grounds are full of spectacular views. The staff is gracious and especially accommodating to English speakers. Can’t wait to go back!

This was a 5 star experience in every way! Beautiful setting with amazing accommodations and excellent food and service.

Unfortunately the bedroom we were given was extremely disappointing especially for a 5 star hotel. We were given the smallest room in the entire hotel even though we booked a delux room 7 months ago for 5 days. The bath was damaged, there were stains on the radiator, it leaked when it rained and there was an inter connecting door which, after an incident in a previous hotel, is always a concern.
I immediately went to the hotel receptionist who had shown us to our room but she had no interest in what I was saying.
The room was certainly not up to 5 star criteria and neither was the receptionist.
However the staff generally were excellent and the hotel food was good.
The manager is obviously absent. We never saw one during the entire 5 days of our stay and this could be the problem.

The property is well situated and the grounds beautiful, but the physical hotel was very disappointing for a "5 star" hotel. The pictures were misleading - it was tired, old, dirty rugs in the hallway and rooms barely stocked - no cups for the coffee, thin towels, nobody at front desk late at night, staff at front desk was very inconsistent. Reservations were messed up repeatedly - for dinner, for shuttle.

Our third stay in this hotel. Set in a beautiful location near the town of Gordes. It has wonderful gardens and a huge outdoor heated pool. Service around the pool is limited. We ate in the hotel restaurant one evening and found the food to be pleasant enough. Gordes itself, a five minute drive away, has many delightful restaurants, two of which we ate in on our other two evenings. We had booked, a junior suite, it was large and bright with a spacious outdoor terrace.
The negative aspect of our stay was the poor standard in maintenance of our room considering what we had paid for it. On arriving we discovered three light bulbs not working. One in the hall, one in the bedroom and the one on our terrace. We notified reception. The hall light was changed immediately, the bedroom light was changed the following day. We were told the light on the terrace was solar powered. This was not the case. My husband ended up sorting out the problem. In the morning we wanted a coffee. Our Nespresso coffee maker was broken! We were told it would be changed later on in the day. Other small grumbles, my own personal Molton Brown soap disappeared from the bathroom on our return from our day out. Too much was wrong to give it a 5 star rating. The reception staff were sorry and realised the standards were not as they should have been. Compensation? 20% off a future booking!!! We are not sure that we will return. There are many other 5 star hotels in the area. We shall see....

Property was very quite and private located 1-2 kilometers above Gordes. Beautiful views overlooking valley. Rooms were perfect. Reasonable size with large bathrooms which had separate tub and shower and with double sinks. Service was excellent although they seemed a bit thin on staffing at times. No bellman to help with luggage and you can’t exactly pull up to the front door but only a minor inconvenience. At least one meal in their Michelin starred restaurant is a must. The bar area is a nice comfortable spot to have a drink before or after dinner. A private car is a must if you’re staying here due to the location. Didn’t try the spa or pool (indoor or out) but they all looked lovely. Could have spent several more days there and enjoyed the amenities.
