Arrived good after finding entrance off main road. The reception went well. In the room (no.37) the radiator was making a dripping noice - it was half warm/half cold so I asked reception to ‘bleed’ the radiator. To her credit she tried but didn’t have the correct radiator key.
As a result the dripping went on all night. It was cold outside 0 degrees. So it came on more than usual. I should have requested a room change.
Bar service very good before I went off to bed.
In the morning after a very restless night due to radiator I went for a shower and couldn’t get any hot water out of it. Had to wash with Luke warm water.
Comfortable Bed & Hot Shower is paramount. Sorry but this failed !

Staff very friendly and helpful.
Room was very nice ither than radiator was very noisy and it was right next to the bed so was hot

Terrible! Irish travellers and partying went on till 3am. Fighting out side. Loud screaming in the hallways, with very young adults talking about drugs as the run back to their room every 10mins

Half the price of nearby Premier Inn
A bit quirky with a big TV in reception showing an open fire.
Very noisy plumbing was my only main gripe but not the end of the world
Eat across road

Excellent stay, staff were amazing, food was superb, would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone

I stayed in rm4 and thought the room looked a bit tired and needs some maintenance and decor issues. The shower was cold as well.

Have stayed before and will again. This is a really good 3 star hotel that is excellent value for money.
The hotel seems to be a very popular wedding venue but if they now have 4 rooms in a house at the bottom of the drive, so if you dont want to be part of the wedding celebration you coukd (hopefully) stay there.
Great breakfast and very helpful staff make this my 'go to' hotel in Norfolk

This is the third and final time I will stay. The staff are friendly but the accommodation and cleanliness is a lot to be desired. Every time there is an issue, shower heads, water tempterature. Litter in room, cobwebs, for the price it is a bit expensive for what it is

Very limited breakfast option

I arrived at the property when they had lost water but were hopeful that the ussue would be resolved. I booked in and went out for food. When i returned they were still hopeful but offered for me to cancel my booking and refund. I did this, and then they have refused my refund.
My room was scruffy and dated but my brief stop it seemed clean. Whilst the staff were pleasant to me, and I dont blame them for the burst water main, the lack of refund is poor customer service.

Hotel itself was great, receptionist was lovely and friendly, let us borrow an iron with no fuss at all.Breakfast was fantastic, very nice indeed, have to order off a menu, not buffet.I wasnt aware this was a wessing venue,if you are staying in the suites mayne pre check and see if theres a wedding on as marquee is right next to the suites, very noisy till gone midnight,we was made aware but only when signing in.Smoking area was right under our window so couldnt have windows open and it was warm as no air con.Suite itself was nice and big with kettle and sink,tv didnt work at all and couldnt connect it to internet to play netflix or anything.Only stayed 1 night so good overall.

Double bed was small especially considering size of room - 1 of us ended up sleeping on the settee. Also noise from kitchen ducting. Staff very good. Breakfast ok but would have been nice to have cereals as well as cooked breakfast not just either or.

I stayed 3 nights. I used Best Western as a base to see not just Norwich, but Norfolk and more. Every morning my breakfast was exceptional. A great choice of menu items and to my joy porridge! (Which is a welcome healthy option). The English breakfast was great too. Friday was probably the best day for breakfast. I was given a really good flatwhite by a very nice hostess/ waitress who clearly took pride in her barista skills. I know a good flatwhite (I’m Australian originally). The room was very clean and well kept. I had a single bed room, with some nice snacks with the coffee and tea (replaced every day btw). It got a bit hot and i did keep the window open, a plugin fan or ceiling fan would be a great addition. I’d definitely stay again.

The staff were amazing and very responsive.
Food was excellent and staff happily accommodated a change to the menu without any question.
The Television didn't work on night 1- I couldn't get BBC or ITV/C4, main channels. I raised this the next morning and they sorted it before I returned the 2nd evening.
The shower didn't function and the water pressure to fill the bath was exceptionally poor. I was unable to shower or wash my hair, which I was not happy about. I raised this as I left that morning and again it was sorted that day.
Like I have said, this review is no reflection on the staff's attention, responsiveness or motivation to help. My review is aimed at Best Western for letting a gem of a hotel fall into a poorer state than their standards would normally allow. A refurbishment of bedrooms is in need, including some communal carpet areas.
The new bar and patio area is lovely but the accommodation side of the hotel needs some TLC.

It was adequate and the check in lady was pretty friendly and attentive but other than that the staff were not particularly friendly and the food in the restaurant was horrible.
The desk was unmanned alot which generally gave a bad customer service.
We had questions and there was nobody there to ask.
We personally wouldn’t use this hotel again.

Welcoming and friendly staff, the room was a bit dusty, no one has ever looked under the bed, it's a dust horror film.
Bathroom was clean however.
2.0
Possibly the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept in and the rooms furniture is very dated. The shower head was covered in grime and some hairs were left on the side of the bath for the entire weekend.
However, the staff are great and the food also great.

Hotel is very tired and in need of a complete overhaul. Appears that hotel priorizes events over being a hotel as 3 separate events were happening during our stay. Room was very basic for a suite. Other members of our party had to change rooms due to state of theirs, and even after changing rooms, the ine they were put in was disgusting. I would not advise staying at this hotel

Terrible experience, we cancelled the booking and left.

It was so loud from the restaurant we couldn’t get to sleep until after midnight very noisy. Then at 7am next door they had their tv so loud that waked us up

Lovely place only little problem was our room stunk of cooking fat as we were above the kitchen but air freshener was provided when we asked

VERY pleasantly surprised by the standard of the food cooked in front of us by a very enthusiastic young chef. Had the chicken kebab which was superb, and then breakfast was freshly cooked. Eureka, NOT a buffet. Double espresso was quality coffee, and all kitchen staff were a breath of fresh air. BRAVO

I was very disappointed to be honest
Firstly although it is mid June the weather was only 9 degrees and the hotel heating was off
Guest comfort should be the number one priority and it obviously isn’t
I had a hospital appointment at 20:00 and was advised to not eat anything prior to this
I got back at about 2 minutes after 9 and when I asked what time food service ended and was told “we just finished service”, any decent property would have made an effort and offered something
It was especially annoying when the kitchen was still serving to one table at 21:30
I could have been offered something
I ended up going to bed after 2 packets of crisps!
In the room the television was ancient
All that was available was a partial free service package
None of the mainstream news channels were available
The most exciting thing I found to watch when I was in bed trying to keep warm was Challenge TV showing 30 year old game shows even that first thing in the morning was providing télé shopping.or Food Network showing annoying American cooking channels
Unacceptable in 2024
Very disappointed 4/10

Entrance and stairwells need an overhaul
Was woken early by cars and vans in and out of the car park
No lounge to sit and chill out

Overall, comfortable bed, really good size and value. The water pressure in the shower was absolutely awful unfortunately.

I loved the fact that the wedding and reception was all in the same place and we didn't have to go outside in the rain at all. Staff were excellent, rooms very comfortable and we dined in the restaurant on Friday night when we arrived and food was good.

Okay where do I start we checked in on Saturday the lady who was working wonderfully and helpfully no problems but when it come to the next morning we went for breakfast got told to sit down and the waiter will come the obviously racist lady looked at us walked away and was chatting to colleagues 10 minutes later I had to get up and asked why we not being served and then she came over to serve us given us dirty looks like where scum then we ordered veggie breakfast one of the worst breakfast I have ever tasted in my life if I was a vegan sorry I'd be in hospital now the fried bread tasted of pork the eggs undercooked and cold the sausages burnt everything tasted oily and bacon yet we asked for veggie breakfasts and all we tasted was pork fat and they had the decency to charge £30 for 2 people breakfast discusting also the butter was off as you can see in the picture also my room the door would never fully close as I could just use the handle and walk in
