The hotel was under construction, we found out when we got the day of check-in.

The parking was a nightmare. It was very hard to unload luggage at the front door during check-in due to valet taking up all the space.. Self parking gate did not work properly so cars backed up several floors in parking deck. Parking deck elevator not working properly.
In room coffee was a joke with Tiny cups!!!
No hand soap in bathroom.
Mold on walls in quest room & stained curtains & lamp shade unacceptable especially for the price of accommodations!
Front desk employees were all very nice and helpful. Bed was comfortable. Nice view from our ocean front room

For the price and the prestige name it did not represent well. The room was dusty in various areas. Places in the room and hotel was rusty and need to be changed out. The property did not give a diplomat appearance. It gave a regular cheap hotel vybz. Also when u visit a hotel bathroom in the room for the first time a fresh roll of tissue is normally on the rack and that was not so when I got to the room barely any tissue was on the rack then we had to immediately change the roll. We didn’t even got extra wash cloth it’s just two and we can to kept calling for more. Valet doesn’t answer the phone from the room. We have to go down and request the car and wait for a long time for the car

They are under construction which should be told about before people book, but I was only there one night. The staff took great care of me, the room was spacious, clean, the bed is so comfy, balcony and ocean view was stunning. The ROOM SERVICE food was top tier!!!!! Right off the oven/stove both times I ordered. Will definitely book again

Overall, it's great. The only drawback is that they're in the middle of remodeling. The beach at the front of the property is fantastic! The ocean views on one side of the hotel; bay views on the other is very nice.

Came here for a conference. Be specifically asked not to be put in the north tower as the last time there was a loud noise. The front desk assured me it will be a good place as I paid heavily for oceanfront. Of course they put in the north cover and I could not sleep the whole night due to a generator running in the background. Pillows were really smelly, but they did replace them. I asked him to move my room, but never got a call back and I am a Hilton Honors member. Also, the website never mentioned an ongoing construction project which starts with a jackhammer in front of the North Tower, and a lot of places walked off.

My stay was overall good, but had to call the front desk twice for the team to come clean my room, There was a dead spider and two pubic hairs in the tub my entire stay, interior room hallway light was also not working(I did call service and they came diligently to replace the bulb). Resort was undergoing renovations that took away from the experience as well. The hotel bar area is WAY too small and couldn't even get a barstool or seat Wednesday or Thursday night at all. For $2,000, I would expect more, but it was a decent place to stay and the team was nice.

Work-related trip for 3 nights. Beautiful facility despite remodeling that is in progress. Walkout access to the beach.
Room was clean and spacious. I did need to work from my room, and found 2 things that were annoyances: 1) lack of accessible outlets. Any outlets were behind desks or couches and built-in outlets in night stand didn’t always work. 2) only lamps were at the bed- one other on other side of room was not working, so there was not sufficient lighting.

It was great! Only thing was the resort fee, parking fee and deposit was a little bit of a shock but we were prepared-- just have money available. But other than that, the service was Amazing and we will def be back!

Property is very nice and staff is really good but lack of dining and items not working in the room made my trip uneventful.

I don’t recommend this hotel. Diplomat used to be one of my favorite. I wish I had known that they were doing construction on the property. The noise from the construction on the pool was very loud all day Saturday. It was to the point that I end with headache instead of relaxing. The room was not clean. When I did the check in There were wet towels in the shower and the balcony was dirty. I advise parking the car yourself across the street because the valet parking is very expensive and it looks like a terminal . If you invite a guest and have to pay for the day pass, you better pay for another room. The only good thing was the beach. It was fantastic and very clean. I even left before the end of the last day because I didn’t feel well. There are many other hotels if you want to enjoy and spend your time in a place where you can relax. This is the first review I do in my life . I did it because I don’t want other people to feel like I did.

There was mold in the shower & it leaked terribly throughout the entire bathroom floor, creating a slip hazard. The towels were rough & hard. There is no basic hotel amenities such as good lighting, make up mirror, hallway mirror, no laundry bags, & the room was small. The facility needs a lot of maintenance overall.

Stayed multiple times under another Hotel chain but this time for my birthday the hotel is under renovation not disclosed before booking.
Very disappointed to spent my birthday weekend there becauae the hotel is not in full service mode or near the level that was previously.

First room we got was completely filthy. The rug was filthy as it gets with stains all over, there was plastic debris laying on the floor from the previous guests making it clear the cleaning was botched, the couch was untouchable because of clear stains evoking bodily fluids… the only secure space was the bed. I went down to front desk and they gave us a new room. Rug was covered in stains also but no more bodily fluid on the couch, I said to myself that it’s probably the best they can do and settled for the filthy rug. Jack hammers on floor level at 7:30 on Friday morning shaking the room up to the 12th floor was the cherry on top! Two words —> never again. Can’t believe it’s a Hilton. Staff ok.

Loved the Hotel but would of been nice to been aware of the construction. Still ha dot pay a resort fee when all pools were not available. And $62.00 for parking?? On the PLUS side, Kindred at the front desk was AMAZING!!!! He made our stay very pleasurable!!

I am very disappointed about this property. They charge for everything, but the service you get in exchange is incredibly mediocre. The housekeeping is very mediocre, they barely made the beds, has to constantly call for coffee cups and pods, for soap, for towels. The staff was not hospitable at all, there are much better quality-price options than this overhyped hotel.

I use to live in S Florida for 20 years so I am familiar to the diplomat hotel and the area . They are doing constructions at the front main entrance and the noise sometimes when you having breakfast is unbearable . Also … check your bill… I repeat check your final bill. Lot of “ mistakes and hidden fees “ If you decide to rent a day bed at the ocean be sure to ask all fees and tips hidden in the final bill. . I had to argue for 2 days until I straighten up my bill. Diplomat Use to be a beautiful hotel and great service . Not anymore unfortunately

Pallet will take roughly 30 minutes to reach your vehicle, and depending on what you drive they may take longer. Once on site, you’ll find the property to be in complete remodeling stage with dust and debris everywhere The eye can see. Outside on the pool deck where you will meet lavish two deck, pool system, all the other one is closed and complete disarray. Multiple detours around the hotel, It was hard to navigate much less even run into a hotel representative to ask for directions. I don’t want refund this visit left me with the desire to never return.
