We checked in, left about 11:00 with kids running around for a football trip. Wasn’t worth staying for us. Drove home. The hotel needs to better manage large groups. Kids throwing footballs in the lobby. The lower level where our rooms was ended up being a play ground for kids. Good hotel. Poor control of guests. Waste of our money.

The stay was good. the room was a little dirty but everything else was good.

The hotel itself felt a bit tired, but it was clean. Every staff member we encountered was very friendly and helpful. I would stay there again if necessary

Condition of room was deplorable: mold on shower curtain, broken fiberglass on bottom of bathtub, broken bathroom door, visible rust on bathroom fixtures, broken toilet paper holder, 3 inch divot under carpet near desk, a/c loud and musty odor.
2.0
When we checked in and got to the room, it was uncleaned and unmade. However, front desk fixed issue immediately. Moved us to another room and everything good after that.

Checkin was ok. The person didn’t really tell us anything about the property, WiFi, or anything. They did come to our room as the WiFi didn’t work and offered to move us. Very friendly after we mentioned a couple issues. Phone didn’t work, toilet paper holder broken, spiders in room.

Great place to stay

Convenient for our needs. Room was spacious.

I chose the Garden Inn because of past experiences of lovely breakfasts in a relaxed atmosphere where I could treat guests to lovely service and food.
That is no longer. The atmosphere is no longer welcoming and the food is no longer good.

Had a great stay. Place was clean and staff was super friendly. Very convenient spot next to the dunes. Would stay again

Nice and quiet property. I liked the breakfast served at the table. Also, the reusable plates and silverware are environment-friendly as compared to the garbage production using disposable plates that most hotels do. The gym could use a bit cleaning, though.

Bathroom/ tub not clean. Broken blinds. Smelled dirty.

I recently traveled to the area for a family funeral from California. chose this location because it had a bathtub and that was a necessity for me. I could have picked a more economical hotel in the area but it only offered a shower. The Hilton had a fire in the broiler room which resulted in no hot water for over 36 hours. I contacted the staff and they continued to tell me the water would be on in a couple of hours several different times. My two night stay was awful and very unsanitary. After speaking with Tim, the manager, I was reassure that they would be refunding me but no refund was ever issued. Tim expressed reassurance that he sent an email and that the refund would be granted. However, two weeks later still no refund or contact from the Hilton. This is unacceptable customer service from a company that I previously respected. Shame on them for not completing their promise to make things right.

With it being so expensive it was probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed it. The beds were hard and the pillows smooshed down to paper thin. For being $300 a night you could actually have a continental breakfast

Best place to stay in the area. 15 minutes from the national park and state park. Near coffee shops and a few eateries.

Great stay, would stay again. Charging for breakfast is a big minus but other than that it was great and I’d recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay. The Tuesday night tacos were wonderful!

They put us in a room in the basement (floor lower than the check in area). Room had a red stain on the rug in between the two beds. When I told the front desk about the stain, he said, "I haven't murdered anyone lately". I'm sure he meant to be funny, but it was not amused. Also, the room smelled like mildew.

The property is located close to an Interstare Tollroad. Convenient for access to the tollroad but located in a non-residential area. The room is nice and clean. Had a traditional tub/shower and not a roomy walk-in shower like some other hotel properties.
3.0
Hotel itself was clean. Though non smoking, room smelled like smoke, bathroom has no exhaust fan, bathroom door and entry to the room door nearly collide, maid service "every other day" so trash really piled up, toilet difficult to get up from for older people. Pillows were great, though!

Convenient location relative to the Dunes

Convenient stopover en route OH to WI. Liked it so stayed again on return trip.

Friendly staff, clean hotel. Pool was closed due to a chemical issue, so my kids were bummed. Breakfast isn't free, so we went across the street to Biggby. Overall, a good stay.

Cameron was very helpful and professional!

Only issue is the lobby is cramped
3.0
The hotel was convenient for how close it was to the toll road, a gas station next door, and also next door was a great little pizza restaurant. Friendly staff, nice bar/restaurant and little food store area next to the lobby as well. We didn’t try the bar or food, but it was fairly busy and seemed popular.
Our only complaints were in the room itself. The blinds were broke and held up with binder clips. It was somewhat of a challenge to clip them open. The door to the bathroom had big gaps and there is no exhaust fan. And then the most annoying thing was the AC controls. The bed was okay. The worst thing was the lighting setup in our jr suite. Various color temperature bulbs, minimal lighting on switches, only a few dim lamps in the office area. They really could make it much nicer with just a little effort.
Overall it was an okay stay, would stay again if we were passing through the area again.
