This hotel is beautiful and we just couldn’t fault it, a fabulous location, the views, the rooms and service are all impeccable

This hotel has a certain ne plus ultra that you have to be ready for. It is newly done and done at a really high level in a place that knows what high end is really like. Despite the glitz, and there’s plenty, the staff is super friendly and engaging. The restaurants are terrific and very friendly and inclusive - not snobby at all as a hotel guest.

This place is magical. Combination of best view, best staff & amenities. My suite was absolutely gorgeous & tech amenities the best. The staff trained to make you feel like king of some county, absolutely welcoming. I can’t wait to go back.

This hotel was every bit as good as the reviews. We arrived at 10pm and were shown personally to our room by the staff lady, who was very pleasant & spoke good English. The room was luxurious and the view was unbelievable, 1000 feet above the city. They have a shuttle bus to take guests to the city, leaves every hour as required & picks guests up on the half hour til 11.30pm to return. A great service. Free internet was a bonus. Stayed 4 nights & enjoyed our stay very much.

Vista Palace is a well maintained hotel built 20-30 years ago uphill from Monaco. Easy to reach if you rent a car. Our Room had great views of the port of Monaco and was big. Hotel staff is very helpful and courteous, even the valet parking.
Our only bad experience was in the Restaurante with my entree, codfish tasted refrigerated, I could not finish it.

This hotel is tired. It is in a great location and has breathtaking views of the sea . It is clear that it was truly something special a few decades ago but now it is in need of a facelift. The view from our room was spectacular.

Go there for the private terrace at a cheap rate and great view. Otherwise the hotel is below average and isolated. They run a shuttle which is fairly regular the food is edible and actually not ao expensive by momaco standard. Two days of room setvice and endless nice wine was only 240 eur.

This was my third stay unfortunatly the hotel condition is deteriorating electrical wiring sticking out of walls , wi fi reception terrible and non existing most of the time , TV channels un access able except for local French no movie channels except for 30 year old re runs . Gym equipment non operational and sauna with no lights and no hot water showers . This hotel rating should be reduced to 2 or less stars giving it five is rediculous ! The restaurant had excellent food and the views where marvelous .

My wife and I stayed at the Vista Palace Hotel for our honeymoon in October and were immediately impressed with the amazing views of the sea and Monaco. Tours come up to the hotel just for the view. We didn't actually use the facilities, but they seemed adequate; bar/restaurant, pool, gym, sauna. The pool is heated and has a great view overlooking the sea and Monaco. Our room was awesome, we had a double adjoining room, extra large king size bed, our own private pool (never had that before) and an amazing view of Monaco below. We didn't ask for the room or pay anything more for it, only what was billed through Expedia for the flight + hotel package. We were really surprised to get such a great room for the deal we got. Overall staff were very good. Room service was very attentive and quick. If you plan on staying here there is a shuttle that will run down to Monaco throughout the day until 11 pm, but recommend getting a rental car at the Nice airport if you fly in there.CONS: Breakfast buffet wasn't that great, but was ok. If you have the time spend the 20 euros per person elsewhere for a better breakfast. Food wasn't cooked like we are used to in the states. Scrambled eggs looked like runny oranges and the bacon was partially raw. Air conditioning didn't work very well, not very cold. AC isn't that common in Europe though, so was good at least it had it. Bed was so-so in comfort.Overall a very good place to stay for the money we paid, well worth it!

We stayed at vista and chose it over fairmont as it had more stars. Fairmont is right on the square so in hindsight much better for us as we were using the free hotel shuttle to to and fro all the time. However despite the softest and most uncomfortable beds and intermittent heating and the ants I found on my towel in the bathroom we didnt complain as service was superb, beyond first class. We were upgraded as soon as we got there and had a gorgeous suite and breathtaking view. The hotel were extremely accommodating with our shuttle requests and we got a full tour in the awe inspiring lift when we got there. Would stay here again as reception felt like family. Especially the young boy Joseph, he was lovely!

It is a unique experience and amazing vista of Karl Lagerfeld's villa, and Prince of MOnaco castle and above all to jump into a see through elevator above the sea!

The Vista Palace has one of the most spectacular panoramic views anywhere. The hotel is beautiful and the staff friendly. Unfortunately, it is situated in a remote area and far from anywhere. If you are interested in a quiet vacation, with little visiting, then the Vista is absolutely the place to stay. But we had to book the shuttle twice a day every day to go anywhere, and if we missed the shuttle (free) we had to take a taxi (very expensive) to leave the hotel. There was nowhere to visit on foot from the hotel.

Hotel perched high on a rock 15 mins drive from Monaco. Great views. But hotel staff are unhelpful, rude and useless. Trying to get room service a taxi or some towels is almost impossible. No atmosphere in the hotel, ghostly quiet everywhere because guests just go out or lay by the faded pool. Great location but poor decor and experience. Faded glory.

Beautiful setting, stunning views! Elegant dining and pool!If you want AC in your room don't expect it. The system is old and the room never void down below 24C or about 80f. Phone system went down twice and any room type service takes forever. I was told Americans have to high of expectations (cool room, warm food, and someone to answer a phone call)!Worth the view and may be better for dinner then the stay.

Hotel staff was very courteous and helpful. Hotel is located on a cliff overlooking the city but far from Casino. Hotel provided shuttle to Casino which was a big plus. CANNOT beat the views. Bathroom even had a view.

Fourth or fifth stay at the Vista Palace. The views are incredible, and fantastic place to stay for romance. This time made the mistake of deciding to stay at this hotel because was returning for business and thought it would be less hectic during peak season than staying at the 3 other 5 star hotels I stay at in Monaco. Big mistake. No rooms have decent WiFi, so could not Skype with business partners. Staff tried and moved me to best location for WiFi signal, but no success. Restaurant is really good. Some of the younger staff are very helpful and courteous, others should find another line of work where rudeness is not a problem.

Lovely views over the Med and Monte Carlo.
Staff always helpul and friendly.
Not keen on the restaurant, food very overpriced, certainly not worth it and menu very limited, no ambience at all.
Room service very good .
Rooms clean and comfortable but tired and dated, we had wallpaper coming off the wall, definitely needs a make over.
I wouldn't give this a 5 star rating, more a 4.

We stayed here for one night as we had read seen the views and photos of the refurbished rooms. In short the views are great but really the are are one of only a few redeeming features. The "Renovated" rooms are badly painted and basically new beds, sofa, curtains and carpets. The walls have been shoddily painted and the bathrooms are pretty much untouched. The ceiling was hanging down in ours. The room wasn't dirty but was up to five star cleanliness. The pool area which we were shown as being open was dirty and uncared for. The bar was dreary with a cocktail list from the 80s and service was table service was offered but slow. We stayed in a Junior Suite which had lovely views over Monaco but I would say that I would not recommend it until it has had a serious renovation.

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to Monaco and it did not disappoint! Upon arrival parking space is limited, so just park in front and the hotel staff will move your vehicle. The reception and staff were excellent, the room was clean and relaxing, and the view of nearby Monaco was beautiful. They offer a shuttle to and from the Monte Carlo casino, which was a pivotal service for us. We are very happy we chose this quality hotel.
