Lovely location for walking on the beech.

I really liked this hotel. Our ground floor room had a patio area from where you could see the sea. The room was clean and well set out, and there were 3 dining options. The beach could be accessed via the sand dunes at the bottom of the garden or via a footpath at the entrance to the car park. The sand dunes are challenging for anyone with walking difficulties. On balance, though, a lovely hotel, away from the busyness of Hunstanton.

Our first stay in Le Strange, our room had an excellent view over the dunes and the sea. We understand it has been recently taken over and a refurb will be underway. Our bathroom had already been refurbished- would have liked a heated towel rail. Our bedroom was in need of redecorating- furniture was fine.
We liked eating in the conservatory and the staff were friendly and worked well.
The bar and lounges were fine as are the outside seating area. Could do with a few more Mobility parking spaces.
We will return definitely.

A lovely one night stay this weekend with my boyfriend! No major complaints about the property and the staff were lovely! The only thing I would say is that the decor is quite old-fashioned and it could do with an update and some personality in the bedrooms, but aside from that we had an excellent stay.
We stayed in room number 123 and it was a large room, much larger than I anticipated! It was clean and had a lovely sea view.
The location was convenient for us, you are right on the seafront so the beach is within walking distance. Hunstanton is around a 30 minute walk away, or 5 minutes by car.
We didn’t use any of the hotel facilities, so I cannot comment on that.
A great place to stay if you are in the area, we will definitely be returning in the future.

A lovely stay Clean and peaceful. Set in a lovely location

We loved the sea view in our room. It was big and spacious. Clean and comfortable. It was also boiling hot in our room, there was a fan but it didn’t work and the kettle in the room needed replacing the lid kept coming off. These are very very small things. We would definitely stay again. Its right next to the best beach, its abit old fashioned but still lovely.

Enjoyed our stay had a nice view from our room over the sea.
The only problem was we had a room with a bath instead of a shower which would of been better as I have a bad wrist injury.

The best part of the journey was coming home. The staff were truly amazing and I would go back without hesitation to see them all again. Sadly, the property is very tired and in great need of updating.

We have stayed at this hotel before with our grandchildren and live it. It’s handy for the beach and the grass area for them to play

Friendly staff, always service with a smile. Could have sat by my bedroom window enjoying the sea view all day

The hotel is in a beautiful setting. Our room was clean and nice. There was no atmosphere at all in the dining room. Served by a very over worked lady. I ordered gammon. I received what I thought were two rashers of bacon.

Really enjoyable stay. Good sized room and it was very comfortable.
Sheets and towels changed daily.
Friendly and hard working staff.
External woodwork- eaves etc in need of maintenance and decoration and interior woodwork needs renewing but we understand the hotel has recently been purchased and this will be resolved over time.
Loved sitting on the outside terrace and taking in the view of the sea.
We tried The Mariner pub which is attached next door and found the food good but staff unfriendly.

Excellent breakfast & meals, room was good. Plus right on the beach

Everyone was friendly. Had to carry bags up/down two floors without a lift. Chilly as it was outside, the room never cooled down: opening the window, using the noisy fan, nothing worked. And don’t let Hotels.com fool you: not all rooms have ocean views and the hotel does not distinguish on reservations.

Not the friendliest place but perfect for a short stay in Hunstanton. Nice view and easy access to the beach.

This is an old building in a great setting you cannot expect everything to be brand new but staff and location make up for a lot

Room was quiet although not a sea view. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only downside we felt the decor was a bit tired and needed refreshing.

Was good, nothing to complain about.

Very pleasant hotel a suitable distance from the newer part of Hunstanton, but still easily walkable. On site food at the hotel and the Mariner next door was nice and reasonably priced. The 'Wash beach' was 100m from the hotel and easily accessible. All in all a nice peaceful place.

Wonderful to have the beach right outside the hotel.
Plenty of seats for better weather.
Very nice bedroom with all facilities.
Rather basic dinner menu.

Lots of positives - lovely hotel in fabulous location for coast walks. We asked for and received a nice quiet room with the bonus of a spectacular sea view. Great breakfast and efficient service. Comfort got a star less from our perspective because the room was just so hot (you could adjust the radiator in the room but not the towel rail in the bathroom which was on full blast constantly). One of our group was also disappointed that he wasn't allowed porridge instead of cereal in addition to a cooked breakfast, which seemed a bit mean. However, we did enjoy our stay and would stay again.

We stayed at this lovely hotel for 2 nights while visiting the area for The Who concert last weekend. It was an excellent stay with a warm friendly welcome. The rooms were very spacious and spotlessly clean with amazing views of the beach. We had a delicious evening meal the first evening and the breakfasts were really filling with a wide choice to suit all. The location is beautiful and also very peaceful, would definitely recommend and we would love to return.

Nice, quite place next to the sea, our room even had a seaview. Clean rooms, kind staff, they serve a selection of good food in the restaurant. The weather was a bit rainy, but good trip overall.

Parking was sometimes not available

On the plus side what a great location. Parking was easy. Room was spacious but for us the bed was a little hard even a bit lumpey but thats a personnel thing. Getting a bit dated interior wise. The mariners pub was great for an evening meal. Did not try the hotel restaurant. Was not sold on the retaurant menu. Pub prices where on par with our area. Breakfast was pleasant and offered a nice selection with full English and a nice selection of Bakery as well as the healthier offerings. Room lacks aircon but a fan is provided. Even with our window open it can get a bit warm on a hot June day. But the view makes up for that. Also there are a lack of power sockets for phone chargers. A usb combined twin socket would be a low cost fix. There is a good selection of in room tea cofee and H choc but no mine bar or fridge.

The hotel is in a fantastic location near to the beach and Hunstanton centre. The hotel needs a bit of attention, the room we stayed needs a touch of redecorating and the bathroom has the beginnings of mould on the ceiling.
The signage for the bar, restaurant etc and the 'processes' could do with high-lighting better. for example when we went for breakfast we were greeted with "what room number are you in?" and than shown a table to sit at with no explanation of how their breakfast process works. It felt like the staff thought we should just know where everything was and how it worked.
Apart from these small things we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and had a great time.
