It was okay. The reviews and pictures definitely were not accurate. The pool was a disaster. It may have been from other guest but I couldn’t let my child swim in it. That was very disappointing. Elevators were not cleaned. Overall location, safety and friendly were excellent but cleaning could’ve been a little more.

Room was comfortable but the linens had stains.

We had a GREAT TIME!!!

Paid an extra $10 per day and per guest for breakfast and was never offered the breakfast coupon. Had to go to front desk when another lady who was very professional finally gave us a ticket for the breakfast, but i had paid for 2 days and only received one day. The rude lady that was at front desk the firat night didnt want to give me towels and washcloths. After telling her that our room was not equipped with the proper amount. 4 people in the room and one set of towels and washcloths. There were stains all over the bed sheets and the room was just dirty. I even found a marijuana oil pen in the room, so clearly theres not much housekeeping going on there.

Hotel staff was rude and nasty. Ended up not even staying the night there. They refused to even check me out of the hotel

Room not ready well after check in time. Was eventually offered a substitute room…not what I paid for.
Desk girl was great…just wish we DiDnt need to wait and settle for something less.

Wasn’t ready for check in at 3 came back at 6 got keys to a room that hadn’t been cleaned so had to wait another 30 minutes for a room to be ready

We had a great stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in downtown Cleveland. We were only 1 1/2 miles for the football stadium & Lake Erie. The location was perfect, the hotel was nice…maybe could use a little updating. The fitness center was small but good & we definitely enjoyed the pool which was huge & hot tub. Overall we’d definitely stay again. Location was great, service great; & the breakfast was pretty good too!

Front desk difficult to contact before our stay. Room was dated, pillows were horrible room was somewhat clean but not spotless. Have to switch rooms initially due to the refrigerator not working in our original room

Parking lot process was very confusing to get in and out. Also, charging your guests $20/day to park is ridiculous. Room was comfortable, but didn't need the people next door pounding on their door at 4 am.

Damn dog barking across from my room. Never again!

Great stay, everything was nice and clean and up to date. Some of the best hotel staff I've met. My only complaint is upcharges for normally free things like parking and basic breakfast.

I’d give it a higher rating but I paid 400 a nite and breakfast wasn’t included . Thought that was terrible. So just for that my rating is less. Room was ok. Only had one towel in bathroom when we arrived. Ice machine was one floor down. But great location for a baseball game. Oh and they charge for parking for a 400 a nite room. Nickel and dime. Would I stay again? Idk. I will look around better now that I know there are other stays close by the football /baseball fields.

The hotel was good but it was completely booked and it did not have enough towels to go around. The staff was friendly but we had two separate issues with the lock on our door. KD was the Maintenance person who fixed it and she was up there in a flash and fixed the issue both times.

Stayed for a football game. We could walk. Breakfast was nice, could be open til 10 on Mondays and bar could be open on home football Sundays. Hotel was perfect for our stay.

Very disappointed with the bathroom. All bottle were empty shampoo conditioner and soap. Went to all three ice machines to get ice. No ice!!! No toilet paper and our room door didn’t shut properly! Staff was great but room was pretty nasty. Sorry.

The hotel room was not very clean and it the shampoo and soap was empty. Also the pool was shut down for maintenance and we booked it because it had a pool.

The parking area wasn’t working properly and getting in and out of gate was a challenge. The staff wasn’t super helpful figuring this out.
2.5 / 5.0
Room was clean but we did not have towels refreshed, there was a women’s wig in one of the drawers, and our toilet had a malfunctioning filler unit in the tank which appeared cracked. We went to a Cleveland Guardians game so the location was very convenient. Overall a good stay but housekeeping needs a little more attention to detail.

ice machines broke, had to stay two days because of the Labor Day weekend. They never clean the room the second day no fresh towels no beds made nothing parking lot should have spaces for hotel guests not people going to baseball games pretty sure will never be back again.

I have visited this hotel numerous times and had great stays. The staff that runs the front desk and parking attendant (when’s she there) now are horrible. Rude, very dismissive to your concerns and definitely lack professionalism.
Your front desk is the face of your establishment. It’s turned into a low budget hotel with high rates.

I really liked the location and the front desk staff.
I didnt like how the hot tub was not working due to maintainence at the time.

Your basic hotel experience, staff was very helpful in allowing us to park prior to check in.
3.0 / 5.0
The parking situation was horrible. You get double charged at this place and they are from different people. Our room was dirty, the keurig was filthy and unusable, the shower had someone else’s hair in it, and severely understaffed.

This was a great option to walk to bars, the progressive field, and had great parking. This hotel had phenomenal staff but lacked cleanliness in the pool area, specifically the water. Our door also stuck so we had to really pull it open and make sure to slam it closed or it wouldn’t lock. Overall good stay.

My stay at the hotel was disappointing. I initially booked two nights at another hotel that was way too far from the event I came to participate. Therefore I booked this hotel online for 17-18 august but I was not aware the 18 was picked as the first day. It was a mistake I was not aware until I reached the hotel downtown. The clerk at the Reception gave me a small room on the 17 and 18 and told me I need to pay their price not the one given by Expedia, although the 18 was a day on your booking site. I stayed one night and decided to return to Buffalo the next day to be closer to the border. About the room and service, another disappointment. The pillows were small and filled with some kind of sponge, the coffee machine was not working and the toilette made an annoying sound for five minutes after using it. I told the reception about having the coffee machine repaired as even their coffee maker in the main floor was out of order. At not veil as no one came! I should also mentioned both clerks at the reception talked to me with a visible sarcasm that has upset me. The next morning I was forced to pay double price than the one on the booking with you, ending up with 247.20 on my credit card. The reason I chose you in the beginning was the price equal or a little bit more for two days than the one I paid for one night. I understand I made a mistake while booking on my cell without my glasses but I still believe they're wrong on charging me more and their attitude towards me!

Very good location to experience the tourist area of downtown Cleveland….
Only minor problem was reception staff not understanding parking gate opening process

Overall, perfect for going to a ballgame. Very short walk to the ballpark, free parking behind the hotel, and breakfast options are buffet ($18) or order from a menu.

Check in time is 3:00 I arrived at the hotel at 5:00 (drove from New York) to be told my room wasn't ready yet. I responded with "good thing I didn't get here at 3:00" I was then told "if you had, you might have gotten a room" seriously?? Then I was told to have a seat and she would get me as soon as the room was ready. I sat there and watched 4 different parties check in, get keys and proceed to their rooms. After approx an hour of waiting I asked the same woman If she had any word on my room and you can tell she had clearly forgotten about me(expression on her face). I was then given my room key and was told they were going to comp my parking fee, which BTW DONT charge your guest to park in the lot at the hotel!!! That is just nickle and dime nonsense for real. Anyway, I go up to my room to find it had not been cleaned and there were no linens on the bed. I returned to the desk and asked to speak to a manager. The person I spoke to claimed he was not a manager but he WAS a "supervisor" I then explained the entire situation to him. He then gave me the keys to another room and comped my families breakfast for our entire stay which was nice because the breakfast buffet was about $18.00 per person, per day, for scrambled eggs, bacon, home fries, toast, pastries, cereal, oatmeal, coffee and juice. I am a rewards member and stay at Hiltons all over the globe, this was the worst Hilton I have ever stayed at.

The showers definitely are not very nice and the sheets smelt gross. Definitely won’t be back to that exact Hilton

This hotel is totally outdated. When elevator made loud noises that interfered with my sleep staff member said she did not hear anything. The next days the elevator was out of service. Bar is a dump. Some staff members were very friendly, others grumpy and not customer friendly at all.
1.5 / 5.0
The restaurant and the bar both closed that day/night. Disappointing

Within walking distance to progressive field. Close to everything. Nice and convenient location.

The room was not ready at 3:00. We had to wait, along with a lobby full of other customers, for housekeeping to finish. Finally got our room at approximately 3:40 and then our magnetic room key wouldn’t work. Went to the lobby and waited another 15 minutes to get the key fixed. Went back to the room and key didn’t work again. They did send maintenance to let us in the room and the housekeeping manager took our keys, had them fixed, and returned them to our room. ALL OF THE STAFF WAS EXTREMELY COURTEOUS THROUGHOUT.

Considering Cleveland had a tornado prior to my stay and everyone was trying to get a room, the checkin was flawless and I’m glad I booked ahead. Rooms were clean and breakfast was good. I enjoyed my stay!

The women who checked us in and out were very friendly and helpful as were our waitress at dinner and breakfast. Our room door stuck to the point my hip and shoulder are bruised from having to use them to help open the door. We informed the woman at the front desk (different from the fore mentioned) She said it was locked and when informed it also stuck upon exiting the room. She said sorry. No one came to check it out which is upsetting. If I had been without my husband I would have been stuck in the room. Our bathroom sink faucet leaked extremely bad drenching the items placed on counter.

Clean room with enough space for a family of 4. Parking was not free but unlike other hotels in the area valet was not required. Walking distance to Progressive field. Breakfast was pricey and just ok. The kids enjoyed the pool.
2.0 / 5.0
Bad area. Great proximity to progressive field with a short walk. Pool was gross. Original room was dirty so had to switch rooms. Staff assisted with changing rooms but not good for a Hilton at all.
