This hotel is in poor condition. I felt a bit unsafe. The mattres was bumpy and very uncomfortable. The heater was insanely loud and we decided to keep it off to be able to sleep, but there were no blankets and we were freezing cold. Pillows were horrible. 0/10. Do not recommend this place.

Location was perfect. The bed needs to be replaced. Most outlets did not work and we could not plug in the coffee maker because it pulled too much power. But there was a Starbucks right around the corner. They charged $40 a day for parking which I thought was a lot. But our car was behind a gate the whole stay. It fits the need if you are going to be out in the city most of the time.

Great location, it’s centrally located at Fisherman’s Wharf, what more can I say.
Room is very comfy.
Important note: parking is no longer free. This is a recent change, so older reviews state the old policy.
Rooms need some renovation, but not really an issue.

Visited in November, place was cold. Turned heater on and then too hot. Water temperature unreliable, so did not use shower. Hair, not ours on pillow. Last visitors keys on table and leaves debris on floor. Had to change rooms

Great location, but hotel needs lots of work. Ok stay for me and a buddy. My wife may have some issues staying here.

Dreadful hotel, dated and so noisy! That from outside along with other hotel guests

Description says there is laindry but there was no laundry.

Large room, staff very friendly.

Hotel was under renovation. Lots of noisy building work. If id have known i would have found somewhere else.
2.0 / 10.0
First of all the parking situation is horrible, not enough spaces and very tight $30 additional a night. If you reserve beforehand it is $15 but I didn't know. Secondly, I paid a lot more than my friends and got the smallest room in the building facing a wall with smokers next door. In need of remodeling, very dingy. The 2 things I liked were the proximity to everything and the bed was comfortable.

Any review that doesnt overtly describe the wharf inn as the absolute worst hotel they've ever stayed in is a plant. It was dirtying, Disgusting, old, awful in every way. The toilette had to be turned off. There was boogers on the Wallstreet, no kidding. The patking was full. I was assured the closest lot was priced the same at 30 bucks, surprise, it was 120 for 16 hours. Couldnt wait to leave. You will too if you stay there. Its close to fishermans wharf though.

Place and facilities looks rundown for outside but the room looks new on the inside.

Room was clean and very comfortable. Got the balcony room which my wife and I loved enjoying some Sparkling Wine and looking at the SF bay and sights.

Extra parkimh charges, room was not good, bathroom gas no exhaust, overpriced.
6.0 / 10.0
It's an older property, the air didn't work and the homeless people yell throughout the night. Oh and the trash trucks / deliveries at 2:30 am was not cool because it was loud as heck!
3.0 / 10.0
Overall, choice place to stay. The staff were all really nice. Better than expected for the location. Nothing was bad. If you know SF you know that people here have to deal with a lot of different types of people. So nobody's kissing your a$$, unless you want to pay another 500/night somewhere.
Everything was clean and at par for a typical hotel room. They are in the middle of an upgrade. So somethings are outdated and there's construction noise fairly early.
Considering the private parking at $30/day and the location, and everything else... For SF this one is okay, definitely a 6/10 where to ten is 800+/night.

The front desk staff were wonderful and
Went to great lengths to ensure a walker was reunited with us when we accidentally left a walker in their parking area.

Good if you need a place to sleep every night. The staff are unprofessional and my experience with them was not good. They were either on their phone or forgetting to help their guests.

Definately a three star at best. Better hotel across the street at hotel riu. Same price but way better hotel and experience. Only good thing about this hotel is that it is secure for parking and getting into the hotel itself. But the hotel is very old and run down. Location is great.

Good-
Location to Fisherman's Wharf was outstanding, everything is easy to get to from hotel. Some of the staff was nice and helpful.
Bad-
1. Room is nothing like pictures (very old, dirty, falling apart) Bathroom was brutal
2. Very noisy, you can hear everything above you, below you, next to you, lots of outside noise and its constant all day and night.
3. Table light/fan were broken and wires were so frayed at plugin it was a fire hazard. USB ports on nightstand didn't work. Elevator not great. No additional amenities (ice, laundry, AC etc)
4. "Early Check-in" fee was quoted in email and text as $25 from 11am-3pm. Was then forced to pay $40 for 11am check-in. Front desk could care less when I showed what I was sent directly from them with the price and then was asked to pay different. You should honor what you say whether it was a mistake or not.

This was my first time to SF and it met all my expectations. It was close to everything that I want to enjoy, this was a bucket list trip for me and this location was perfect for me.

The staff here were amazing. Very kind and considerate. This is a family owned business and they are working hard to make you feel like part of the family too! Loved it here

I loved everything about the hotel the only thing that disappointed me was that parking is not included as mention is actually a $30 fee per day. Other then that we loved the stay.

The workers are very respectful and the hotel is close to everything and clean.
6.0 / 10.0
We got this hotel because it is an easy walk to Fisherman's Wharf and is in a fun, touristy area. The hotel is adequate and seemed to be clean for the most part but not particularly well cared for or well maintained. There were a few periods (less than 10 minutes) of extremely loud music during the day, night was quiet.
8.0 / 10.0
Whilst the hotel is a bit dated, it ticked all the boxes for us! It was clean, easy to park and very convenient to get around. Transport, restaurants and entertainment within easy walking distance.
8.0 / 10.0
The location was excellent. Within walking distance to Pier 39, Lombard St., Alcatraz tours.
The room was sparsely furnished and the floor tiles were loose but was spacious enough for my family of 5.

Great location. Hotel is a little run down but still bearable
6.0 / 10.0
I had to pay extra for the parking 30 dollars. The room had big Windows towards the alleypath just outside the Windows. The room was heavely oerfumed.

Hotel condition and the staff is terrible.
8.0 / 10.0
Limited parking, room is quite old, nice price
6.0 / 10.0
The property is dated and old and it shows with the paint peeling off and general infrastructure in need of fixes - elevators etc. Otherwise, the service was OK in terms of bath supplies, etc. We stayed only 1 day so cannot speak much to cleaning after.
Lady at the front desk was good, helpful and welcoming.
When we booked through Orbitz, it was not clear that the parking was a separate charge. Some of the reviews say parking is free, which was part of our calculation to book. Actually the Hotel charges $30 per night when you charge with a 3rd party site. Keep that in mind.
