The hotel was better than I expected for the value. It was clean and the service was very friendly. The only thing that I thought was expensive was the breakfast. The location is ideal and having available parking was a bonus. We would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

Easy and access convenient access to downtown and sights. Great breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately, there was minor vandalism to our rear windshield wiper while it was parked in the hotel underground parking garage. Wide cars beware when parking!!!! Overall, the hotel was great.

I enjoyed the buffet breakfast but not tbe fact that for tbe first day and a half my room 513 airconditioner was blowing hot air. It was only after conplaining three times that i was offered another room 313, where the airconditioner worked perfectly. Otherwise my experience at The Darmstadt was good.

Stayed for 10 days and loved it. Central to transportation and a heartbeat away from restaurants and shopping. I would certainly stay again.

Location good. Air con welcome in hot weather. No kettle for making tea in room, and we were refused one at reception. Towels were thin and a bit mean. I agree room needn't be fully serviced every day but a very quick hoover and emptying the bins would have been welcome. Some staff v friendly. Some staff a bit abrupt.

清潔さでは問題なし。ただシャワーの水圧が著しく低く日向水のようなちょろちょろ水のシャワーだった。またシャワーの水温も一定でなく、すぐに熱くなったり冷水になったり。こちらは文句を言ったが改善せず。暖房もきかずに夜中仕事をしていたら凍えるようだった。あとアメニティーはシャンプー兼の液体石鹸だけなので、要持参。値段相応というか、あと20ユーロ足して駅前のMaritimにすべきだった。 Extremely low water pressure of the shower. The water temperature was not stable. The heating not proper so it was freezing cold at nights. Would recommend hotels in front of the station which were 20 or so dollars more expensive. The staff were nice though.

The hotel was perfectly adequate, normal Ibis standard. But it is on a very busy road, so with the window open for fresh air you get a lot of traffic noise, even on a Sunday morning.

It’s a great place to stay. Very close to the city centre, 2 minutes walk. Train station 10 minutes walk. The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s very good value for money.

Great location, well maintained, a mini refrigerator & microwave in the room along with laundromat options in the hotel would have made it a complete package for business travellers

Liked location, room layout and cleanliness. Only thing that didn't work was the air/heat in my room, so when got into the room each evening, it was stuffy and had to open the window. Night of arrival day - it was particularly stuffy at night, but as window met flat-roof on 1st floor, didn't particularly feel like leaving the window open while sleeping.

Nice, clean hotel, good place to stay overnight. I dont recommend the parking garage if you have a bigger car. Its very narrow to get though the exit.

As per all other reviews there was NO record of our booking when we arrived! Waited 15mins till staff finished clicking a mouse! Breakfast good! Carpark ok at €5 a night but you better not be driving anything bigger than a nissan micra or you AINT getting down there!!!!

For the price, it’s exactly what I expected for Europe. The room was small but had enough for a short stay. If you are a light sleeper it will not work for you as I could routinely hear conversations of people walking in the hallway. Bathroom felt small and cramped. Otherwise was fine for a short stay.

Our stay in Darmstadt was really nice, thanks to the great Staff ans location. Excellent breakfast. We visited most of the atractions by foot from the hotel.Don't miss Frankenstein castle.

Lied about free parking. Other hotels better in the area which don't have free parking. Did not offer any compensation. Bathroom had sewer smell constantly.

Was a queue at reception everytime, had to wait 10 minutes once.Room was nicely designed, with an AC which was very welcomed for the hot day that I spent there. Nice desk and window area. Unforunately no kettle or place to make oneself tea.Location good in terms of closeness to city center and train station, but negatively it is right next to two very large roads which makes it noisey and also difficult for a pedestrian to navigate oneself.

The room looked lovely and welcoming and the bed, pillow and bedding was extremely comfortable. We were there for 3 nights and slept well every night. We had requested a room away from the road and this enabled we had no traffic noise as we prefer to sleep with the window open. The bathroom was more than adequate and soap was provided for shower and sink.We did take our own kettle and european extension lead and this was used frequently for hot drinks in the morning and at night time. (The only available electric point was halfway up the wall so the extension lead was invaluable and it also enabled us to recharge our mobile phones.)The hotel was just a five minute walk away from the town centre and ideally situated. It is also quite close to the railway station.We did not try the breakfast at the hotel, as we met up with family during the day. There was no wifi in the bedroom either, which was a surprise. I believe it was available in the bar area but we chose not to use this facility.We would stay there again.
