Very Clean and well maintained. That's all I care about. A clean hotel (in NYC) is an exceptional hotel!

Amazing service, was upgraded to a suite. Great staff. Very spacious suits with separate bedroom, super clean and super quiet for NYC. Great location. Loved my stay.

Amazing! The room wasn’t ready when we arrived, about 30 min past check in time, so they upgraded us! We booked a double queen and got upgraded to double queen suite. ALL staff were very friendly and accommodating. Room 401 and had a street view of 76th. It was so quiet at night. Couldn’t hear any other rooms except for doors closing, which, was no bother. Free bottles of water, pretzels, and granola bar stocked daily in mini fridge. Sheets and pillows were very nice. Huge, double head, shower. Near subway if you’re a subway rider. This is my favorite part of the city, so I like to be in a homey area vs nightlife. Will only stay here from here on out.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Wallace. We were upgraded to a junior suite room, and it was so spacious and well-kept. We were very comfortable and the hotel is beautiful.

Very very happy with this choice. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was impeccable and beautifully decorated. It was located near dining options and shops, very close to Central Park and The Museum of Natural History. Just an all around wonderful place to stay.

Desk Staff were able to recommend all I needed - so friendly and accommodating - hotel was best experience anyone could hope for! Highly recommend!

I have stayed at The Wallace several times, and every time I am pleased with the experience. The staff is friendly and helpful and the facility is always clean. The location is ideal for walking to restaurants, shopping, and Central Park. There is a lot of construction going on in the neighborhood, but it was quiet in my room. The Wallace is my home away from home when I am in NYC.

Rooms were well appointed. Concierge offered many recommendations and assisted with reservations for local attractions. Will now be my go-to NYC hotel

The property is very clean, rooms are spacious for NY, everything in working order. Beds are comfortable and sheets/towels look brand new. The staff is excellent and the location is terrific, close to Broadway and a few more blocks to Central Park. The only bummer was the noise. The doors slam all day and all night... surely there is something that can be done to make the doors close more quietly? There is no sound proofing in the walls or floors so I was awakened quite a bit throughout the night and early morning. Such a shame because the property is otherwise very nice.

We were upgraded unexpectedly which was a lovely treat. The rooms were extremely well thought out and had all the amenities one could wish for. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Loved the location. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at The Wallace again.

Very clean, spacious but service was poor - due to changing travel plans, we made 3 bookings with 2 room types
Upon arrival, requested to stay in the same room type (asked for smallest one, and to forfeit the bigger one to avoid changing rooms first 2 nights) and were told it was full the first night and can change from 2nd-4th night. Next day, told us there was a mix up with no apology and can only change the 3rd-4th night. Went along with it as that was the original booking.
After the 3rd night in the small room, was asked to check out AGAIN for the 4th night purely because the hotel accidentally gave us the wrong room on the 3rd night and tried to make us change rooms again and we had a severely disabled person in the room. Got yelled at by the manager threatening to make us move if we don't move.
Emailed them a week in advance to make arrangements for the disabled person, and there was no reply at all. Left a request at the reception to make the same arrangements, but when got into our room, none were made.
Overall, the team is never listening and always goes back on their word. Unreasonable management team. Highly do not recommend.

The 1st floor room was incredibly large for any expectations, let alone a hotel room in Manhattan. I absolutely loved that the floors were covered with a kind of luxury vinyl plank - no carpeting meant for an amazingly clean room. The bathroom was spacious and quite clean. The option to use a rain shower or traditional shower head was a nice added touch.

We absolutely loved the Wallace. Location, room, staff, lounge, cleanliness, and overall quality for money - it’s not inexpensive but it’s worth it.

Another perfect stay at The Wallace! This was our third time staying here and we look forward to it every time. It’s very clean, stylish, convenient, and comfortable. The staff are friendly and the lounge on the main floor is very cool. Extremely convenient to restaurants and subway, coffee and Central Park. Would not stay anywhere else.

This is the perfect property for family travel in the city. The suites are beautiful and have great fridge and dresser space to make them comfortable for multi night stays. The neighborhood has so much to offer and great access to Central Park. Would definitely recommend and would stay again!

Beautiful!!!

Beautiful, modern, clean, spacious one bedroom - love the "hardwood" floors, comfortable bed, beautiful spacious bathroom, looks newly renovated including electric blinds, wonderful lighting options/switches. The only negative was we were there for 3 nights and no one came to clean the room or give fresh towels. Maybe they shared they don't do this unless asked? But anytime we asked for anything eg extra blanket, they were immediately on it.
Excellent safe location walking distance to many restaurants and Central Park.

Fantastic staff, location and property. I loved the room (maybe a tad bit small for me) But high end and beautiful. I would stay here again and again, when I come to NYC.
