We've stayed here before, and we really only use the room for sleeping while in Ironwood, so we knew what to expect, we thought... There's no 'Front Desk' so check in is done through a video kiosk and there's no phones in the rooms to call anyone ~ This is something we knew prior and not really a big deal, unless you need the front desk for someone or something, which we did, a lot! Our first set of scanner keys did not work (kiosk - new keys), then the TV wouldn't turn on (kiosk again - onsite mngr came to fix, with her kids in the hallway)... First morning: No coffee or the included 'to-go-breakfast' (kiosk - no help or coffee or food for us). Check-out morning: Yey ~ Coffee and whatnots, let's grab-and-go... Look, I get the 'you get what you pay for' but I would expect just a little more attention to detail considering that we were one of only three rooms that were actually occupied ~ All weekend!... Oh well ~ The heat works pretty good (and the AC in the summer), the TV has a million channels (including all the HBO's), the bed is VERY firm but the pillows are actually pretty comfortable, the water gets hot and nobody died ~ We'll probably be back ;) ...

No in person check in person. Had to interact with computer screen. No breakfast that was advertised. The steak restaurant near by that was advertised has been closed for years. The shopping center was a dollar store an a McDonald’s 2 blocks away. The advertised brewery was not within in walking distance.

The rooms were fine. It was quiet. The wi-fi was good. The breakfast was just okay.

It was perfect for a place to rest our heads on a long trip. Had there been other options for our last minute choice, we would have picked something different. My biggest thing was the kiosk check-in. The thing worked without issue and I was able to understand the person on the other end. But I did not like using it. Our room was clean, except for the window sill that needed a good wiping. The building did have a musky smell. If you are just looking for a quick rest stop, this place will work. Just don’t have high expectations.
Pros: clean bed, bigger than average fridge, microwave, hot water in the shower, breakfast, TV, working air.
Cons: kiosk check-in (there is no front desk), limited outlets for charging, a musky smell in the whole building, breakfast was juice boxes and a bin of packaged snacks (honeybuns, donuts, cereal bars).

Property was quiet outdated. Needs new carpet, new mattress, new showers. The free breakfast was expired danish. When checking in no staff only a terminal. When checking out staff said no paper receipts. Will never stay there again.

There was a mistake with the room. We had a pet but somehow it wasn't registered and they had given us a non pet room. We said something and they changed it for us with no problem.

It was so so, no clock, small tv and a wobbly refrigerator

Apprehensive about kiosk intake procedure - no staffer onsite. However, the assistant was very attentive and helpful. Hotel in disrepair but looks like its being worked on. Our individual room was very pleasant and well maintained.

Upon arrival, there was no desk clerk, just some kind of a kiosk. OK never seen that before. Tap the screen and got through to somebody kind of hard to understand them got me a room went over in the key card. Didn’t work. Had go back to the kiosk, waiting in line, got somebody else on the kiosk thing a different card that card worked open the door terrible musty smell OK and the TV remote didn’t work and I looked around. Check the place out. The bathroom sink was leaking. There was a towel on the floor. I’m not kidding. This is all true , there must’ve been a miscommunication about which rooms were ready and which rooms were not between the maintenance staff and where these people were on the kiosk they gave me another room which was fine. Enjoyed my stay while I come back. I don’t think so. they wouldn’t allow me any AARP discount or senior citizen because the bill is already written up , and there was there were no bagels as advertised. The refrigerator was locked. You couldn’t even get a fruit cup. They were some donuts and candy bars and things like that in a little box that was about it and left on my journey for $140 I paid for this room. I think I got ripped off .

Had a virtual front desk. Terrible. Rooms were dirty.

Overall we had a comfortable stay, self check in was unexpected and not signed very well as when I entered I had no clue what to do when there was no check in desk. The room was slightly dated but clean and comfortable. Worth the lower price

I didn t care for the kiosk terminal check in with a host on the screen from across the earth checking me in. I jept wondering what if something happened?

The first time I've ever been checked in by zoom. I didn't like it I couldn't understand the person on the other end. Also my shower did not work at all it doesn't even have a handle for it.

Didn’t like that there was no reception desk. It was a video kiosk. It made me uncomfortable scanning my id . You never know who can get their hands on it that way. The proof was when I checked out I ask to pin the receipt on the screen because it wouldn’t go through to my email. I took the pic of the screen receipt. I noticed later that it wasn’t even my receipt. It was another ladies receipt. Goes to show my worries about my id being copied or sent to the wrong person. I hope this doesn’t happen to me.

There was an overwhelming smell upon entering the lobby that existed throughout the building.

My room was ok but the rest of the facility needs work. And personally I did not like the kiosk check in.?

Dirty towel and hairs in bathroom. General uncleanliness. Mini fridge so loud. Breakfast was cartons of milk/juice and fruitcup (some were expired).

The room was good. For a night's stay, it is perfect.
The room was clean.

It was ok

We had a pleasant stay here. The room was clean, although it smelled a bit musty at first. But that cleared up after the first day. Ironwood appears to be a rather liberal city, so expect a lot of dope-smokers!

If you just need a bed to sleep in it’s ok. Carpet is filthy and stained. The room it’s self was clean except for the carpet. No stopper in tub but the bathroom appeared clean just old.

Horrible! Room was dirty, a trud was left in the toilet..there also black mold growing in the toilet.. and no breakfast...pre package donuts dont count. No milk. Yes juices. But people with diabetes cant have any of this. So had to go to kwik trip, and spend more money

Interesting that there was no staff on site and used the AI check in.

Smelled musty, also smelled like someone had a party and their continental breakfast needed some improvement!

I have no desire to see a Chinese check me in.
You have sold out the American people and will never stay at your franchise again

Quiet town and enjoyed the quieter side compared to other places, nice home town vibes.

Did not like the virtual check in. Issues with signal dropping. Very frustrating. Took about 25 minutes.

Filthy smelly not fit for homeless

Our room was not very clean. There were French fries on the floor at the foot of the bed and one of the two bath towels had what looked like fresh blood on it which was only visible after unfolding. The carpet had several stains and the drywall had damage in a few spots. Bed was ok and (thankfully) the sheets seemed clean (I hope).

There were NO staff on site. Nowhere on their website was it noted that the check-in would be virtual. Our room was not properly cleaned, and the first room assigned didn't even have the bed made up! DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!

Virtual front desk kiosk? Never again! TV service was out. Orbitz listed a laundry as an amenity but there isn't one on the property.

Check in was on a kiosk with a woman who was in the Philippines, strange to say the least. There was nobody manning the lobby, anyone could walk in and go the the rooms. Hotel has not been updated in quite some time. There was a leak in our bathroom somewhere, the floor was always wet.

This property is in very poor repair and unclean. Not just the room, but the entrance and lobby were also nasty. Stained shredded carpet, broken fridge, shelf falling off the wall, missing baseboards along the floor, drywall dust along some of the carpet…most certainly NOT expected for a property charging this high rate during the off-season. Not sure what’s up with the virtual check-in kiosk, but we prefer properties that have actual staff visible and onsite.

The kios entry was a surprise and there were 3 Adams groups staying there at the same time.

It was a quiet and clean place to stay. Security was good and there were options for dining close. Overall good experience.

I was not happy to find that there is no staff on site when you check in. you have to use a kiosk to check in. I do not feel comfortable with knowing that the kiosk now has my credit card information and my drivers license information and the lady on the kiosk was from the Philippians.
you need to have local staff available.
the breakfast is very limited.
The rooms were sufficient with all the basic needs covered. as we were aware of at time of booking.
very quiet area, no issues with noise, close to restaurants and easy to get to the ski hills. kept the parking lot plowed nicely.
