Basic expensive for what you get my first and last time will stay

Convenient location and clean. However the walls between rooms are thin/badly insulated and traffic noise from what is a busy road made sleeping very disturbed.

In photos looks much better than the actual room. Hair on bed sheets, not very clean.
Overall, decent price for London ,for a room for two, with bathroom, bargain.Does the job.

Second visit here. Clean, comfortable and warm. Comfortable bed. Good shower. Near Kings Cross.

This wasn’t a proper room, there was no proper window, just a sealed up door directly onto the pavement with a radiator running in front. This was effectively part of the original hall of one of the converted houses. Road noise and conversations from the pedestrians who were actually only a metre or so from the bed made sleeping almost impossible.

Basic. But comfortable

Another short trip and a convenient stop along my way.

An adequate hotel . Plus factors are price, very close to kings cross, St pancras and Euston.Slightly run down in appearance but room was clean enough and staff pleasant. Would stay again

Just fine.

Better room than before it is cold and heating for building is off so it is a disappointment

Our room was ground floor street side. Traffic noise was terrible throughout the night. Motorcycles racing, sirens, etc. No AC, so we needed an open window, but had to make do with a fan. No smoking inside the hotel, but we had to walk through smoke to get inside. Hotel staff and others stood near the door to smoke. Advertised that they have a restaurant, but there isn’t one. Bed was ok, but pillows were hard. Towels old and thin. I would not stay here again.

In theory there's nothing fundamentally wrong with the hotel but just my particular visit and room wasn't so good.
The friendly receptionist made the check-in process easy. The lift worked and at first glance the room seemed OK - clean room, sheets and towels, tea and coffee making facilities, a TV, WiFi, etc. But as I settled in I started to notice the flaws.
The room was far too hot but if I opened the window it was too noisy outside. The TV wouldn't switch on. The bed was far too hard for my comfort level. The shower water pressure was very disappointing. But the worst part were loose floorboards above me that squeaked as the guests in the room above walked around and they didn't settle down until well after midnight, so I could finally settle down to sleep too - only to be woken up by the fire alarm siren in my room sounding for a couple of seconds just before 2am. It woke me up with such a start that it took me another hour to get back to sleep - mainly because the people above me had obviously been woken up too!
I realise most of problems might be room specific so your milage might vary but I can't forgive the fire alarm incident and I won't be staying there again.

The facility is not to the mark as is shown on the photos. Certainly not value for money that is charged. Inconvenient size and placement of Bath fittings, safety escape routes not clearly marked, No phone in room (for inhouse communications), Limited info exchange at front desk, etc.

Dreadful place - only stay if you have to. Only redeeming feature was that the bed seemed clean.

The bathroom shower was a bad design. One rotating tap with no indication of how to use it. Lever hard to get good temperature without getting cold water first. Shower head too high on wall and cannot be moved. Should be changed for hand wand type which would be better to hold. 12092024 date.

It was cheap

I think the first thing to say is that the hotel is not very far from the station which is a good point second point the room was accommodating and it had everything that was needed in there apart from the fan not working. The staff are very helpful and friendly the only thing that lets the place down is that the walls are thin between each room and above and therefore the noise can be very difficult if people just talking loudly and other noises and for that reason even with earplugs I'm not sure whether I would go back or not because some of the other people at the hotel did not have any respect but other people

My room was by the staff room so they were very inconsiderate talking very loudly at 6:30am in the morning. (Could have been earlier). Constant banging throughout the night and creaking from above room.
Mentioned it to reception when checking out and will not be returning. Probably was one of the worst rooms I have ever been in. Pictures on website made it look better than it actually was.

Great location tad bit run down but great deal for the price

I certainly wouldn't be recommending this. The place has no accessibility and the staff are no help whatsoever. In fact, they are pretty unpleasant. There are much better places to stay at in London. I'd avoid this place.

Staff were mostly non English speaking, the room was like a cupboard, hairdryer was unsafe.

Your workers are friendly. You don’t leave enough towels-1to share for hand wiping and no washcloths- just horrible. Toilet tissue sitting on the back of toilet not mounted on the wall. Only one thin pillow. Very little room to take a shower the bathroom is tiny. I bid you not to stay here!! Horrible

Great location. Short distance to Kings Cross St. Clean but be aware rooms are small and outdated.

Great location. Good price. Only issue bathroom very tiny. They allow you to leave bags in storage. Friendly staff.

Nice place at a standard we expected, good friendly helpful staff. Road outside very busy throughout the night which did produce quite a lot of noise, however due to its location quite close to Kings Cross station this is to be expected.Rooms were clean and functional with a good sized bathroom.

It would have been great to have a small fridge in the room.
And I always like places that offer breakfast .

Clean and comfortable.
No services basic hotel.

I like that the property was close to the train station. The room was quite small, but I guess it's standard for Europe. The room was very clean and comfortable for a short stay.

I can’t write enough nice things about this hotel. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lovely and the room blew me away. The location is good as it is very close to the station so you can drop your bags quickly and go. I would especially recommend the quadruple room for families as it was absolutely massive and gave us all the space we needed. It’s not always easy to find good family hotel rooms .

After reading previous reviews I had extremely low expectations. But we were pleasantly surprised! The room was spacious and clean although dated. Right near kings cross st pancras tube station. Overall, had a fantastic stay and really good value

It felt an unsafe area and not clean
5.0
Good location close to Kings Cross. Small room size but big enough for what we needed. The rooms are not air conditioned but fans are provided. We stayed over a very hot time and the fan in our room was not working but when we mentioned it to the man on the desk he got us a new one right away. The beds were comfortable. The shower was decent.
4.0
No shower gel provided. I feel this is basic, especially with arthritic hands, as using soap can be difficult.
Both the fan (needed on the hottest day of the year) and the tea tray were on top of a high cupboard. I’m 4’11-couldn’t possibly reach! Reception came to move them but it’s a fault. Also a small bottle of water in the room would have been appreciated.
However, reception staff were helpful and friendly.

Cute little hotel but not enough electrical outlets.

and helpful. We had a problem with our room and we asked to change rooms which they helped with immediately. Clean rooms, clean linen and towels provided as well as toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities

Second time we've stayed here, so convenient for the Eurostar and other stations.
Staff friendly and check in a doddle, comfortable night sleep
