It’s a nice concept but interior needs a little upkeep. Full of mozzies so beware. The toilet is very run down n shower water is a little brownish at first. Cars n motorcycles moving sounds loud n clear. Ask to move to interior facing unit, was refused stating that have reservations already, I stayed for 3 nights but didn’t see anyone check in. I will never stay there again. The only bonus is decent breakfast that I paid for

We stayed here before heading out to stay on another island. We on stayed for about 7-8 hours before leaving so basically we slept. The room was fine - a little dirty lookin but seemed clean. Maybe just old. It was fine for what we needed. The staff was really nice.

Had a good stay with At Panta, rooms were nice, staff were nice, helpful and friendly too. The walls were a bit thin though, we heard the next room talking really loud and making a lot of noise one morning, it sounded like they were in our room! Apart from that breakfast was Thai food, and the rest of the stay was great, nice swimming pool.

First impression of this hotel was fantastic. A very warm welcome and then showed to our room and what facilities were in there. The grounds and pool area are stunning. The disadvantage of our room was the shower (over bath) would flood our entire bathroom floor and there is no way to stop it due to it's design. During dinner the hotel provided some "entertainment" in the form of a Man singing with his guitar, and a massive sound system. It wasn't very in keeping with the theme of the hotel which they say themselves in their in-room brochure as "a quiet and relaxing experience." We retired to our room which had the bedroom window approx 10metres from where this man was performing. It got to 10.30pm and he was still going even though we could see there was nobody there in the open-air restaurant area! A quick call to reception informed me that he would be going on until Midnight! Pointless!! When it got to about 11pm I went to reception in person to ask for another room further away from this area (as I'm sure some rooms at the back of the resort would have been more sheltered from this) but was given a blantant "no" because the hotel was supposedly full. Which seemed odd as it appeared to be about 5% full! After a restless night on the hard bed (3 pillows for the two of us) we went for breakfast which was included. Sadly the open-air area where it was served was teeming with flies and insects all over the uncovered fruit so we avoided that, and stuck to the toast!

The bath room was dirty, the AC did not work and the staff could not figure out why. There was broken baseboards and crown molding in the room that look like it was gnawed by ants or some other creature. I was tired and just got in to Thailand, otherwise I would have asked for another room.

Nice hotel, nice people.
The mattresses were a little too hard and uncomfortable.

Room was spacious and comfortable. Lack of sufficient staffing is apparent in all areas. But friendly and helpful staff. Value for money.

This is a perfectly dreadful resort. It's in the middle of nowhere. The food at the restaurant (seems to be only one at the resort and absolutely nothing you can walk to nearby) was overpriced and aweful. There's a busy road nearby, so forget about tranquil with all of the noisy traffic. Finally, the idyllic looking stream or river in the photos is a breeding ground for mosquitos, so sit on the porch of your "villa" after sunset and be eaten alive. What should have been THB 300 for a 10 minute ride to the airport was billed by the hotel as 600. The staff were friendly and helpful, but nothing could offset the shortcomings of this place. I'm just thankful that I'd only booked one night.

Hotel is very much removed from any stores, restaurants and other hotels. Even though Phuket is a tourist travel destination, taxis are non existant. If you do get one, you're charged a rediculous rate of 600 Baht or more one way. Breakfast buffet was great and very typical of any other hotel breakfast buffet in Thailand. However, buffet is only available during weekends. Weekday breakfast buffet is about 1/2 the size of weekend. A disappointment! Fresh towels and linenes were provided every day, but that's pretty much all that was done with daily housekeeping. Floors where never swept, let alone mopped, and were dusty and dirty where there was no foot traffic. I even found an old decaying piece of fruit on the floor next to the drapes. ACK! On the flip side, staff was very tentative. Even at 70% occupancy, I felt like the only one there. A week after my departure when I was back at baggage claim in BKK, one of At Panta's staff members was there on holiday. He recognized me and came by to say hi and check in with me.

Upon check in we were charged quite a bit more for our room than we were quoted online. We were informed that this was a resort fee for up keep of grounds, pool, hot tub etc. I have never been charged extra from a hotel once I arrived because they had a pool.
We were told that the last dinner seating was at 8:30pm. That was the extent of information we received on dining although I specifically asked. At 7:15 we went down for dinner and were told that they were booked for the rest of the evening but we were welcome to hang around until 8:30 incase they had an opening!!! Our booked room with a king bed, 2 twins and kitchenette was actually two double beds that were folded down from the wall. When folded up were sofas for extra seating. Not comfortable. However the kitchenette was clean and full size. The view from the private balcony was spectacular!!! The hotel did give free coupons to guest to ride the gondalier up to the top of the mountain. Don't miss the cave walk we had blast.

Hotel staff was very curtious and very pleasant. Without knowing made me a Birthday cake. Wonderful botique style resort. Quiet in a quiet part of phuket away from the hustle of patong. Gardens are very well kept up, and the rooms were always very clean with little added extras. Would definitely recommed for a nice getaway.

This is a very nice hotel, with an authentic Thai atmosphere. I had booked a Thai Traditional Villa and was upgraded to a Thai poolside villa. The tropical setting was very beautiful (the downside were the -few- mosquitos which made it difficult to enjoy some nights on the veranda), the rooms beautiful and with character. The only real downside was the distance from the beach or anything else for that matter. There is a hotel shuttle to Surin beach (15 minutes drive), but taxis to anywhere on the island are very expensive for Thailand (between 400 and 900 THB for destinations on Phuket Island). For people who like to enjoy a quiet time in a beautiful setting (and to enjoy the many tours available), this is the place. Otherwise, Patong beach is the destination for those looking for a hectic, entertainment oriented place (from the hotel, about a 1/2h taxi drive and about 6-700 THB).

At Panta Phuket is good for relaxation. If you got tired of noisy city life, it is the perfect place to stay. Me and my husband stayed there for our 1year anniversary, and we were totally satisfied. At first we're disappointed with its location, but we could go to Surin and Kamala beach by motocycle which we rent at the resort. The staffs were really kind. A male staff went to the gas station for us, and a female staff kindly made a schedule for us when we asked her to recommend a plan. I will never forget staying there. I want to go back again someday.

Great room for the money; Staff very professional and curtious.

Was very suprised with the cost vs. value to be had here. You are a little away from the beaches, but a bus runs to Patong Beach every morning, and picks you up there in the afternoon. Wonderful pool, and relaxing time to be had.

Amazing place! The perfect getaway! We were most delighted by the staff and the service they provided. The Thai people are amazing. Although centrally located on the island, the property is located a bit removed from all of the action, but if you rent the scooters from the hotel (400b/day) you can get to anywhere on the island. We went all the way to Phuket Town. The room was very clean and beautifully furnished. We have no complaints.

This is a nice resort...once you get inside the gates. My 10-year-old daughter and I stayed here the week before Christmas and we loved our room. The pool was modern and beautiful. The staff was exceptional and the food was scrumptious. The three main criticisms I had are: 1) the resort was very far -- from hotels, restaurants, daytime activities and all beaches -- which caused us to spend too much on taxis 2) the grounds surrounding the resort were in poor repair 3) the water/river shown in the pictures which lead up to the bungalos is low and green. The price I paid was very good. I would have had a better time, if this resort was closer to either restaurants or to the beaches.
