Wonderful stay at Dukes Arches. Staff were very welcoming, hotel beautiful and in an excellent location, so close to everything. Breakfast was superb, as were drinks in the bar. Spacious bedroom with very comfortable bed. Would definitely stay again.

Grand baroque hotel in a good central location. Just be aware that the std double rooms are actually in a modern annex behind the historic hotel. Comfortable and quiet stay..

I’ve stayed at this hotel before it changed names and it’s still has gorgeous. The location is great, really central to all main area and because of that very convenient to pop in and out of. My only comments are 3pm checkin is a bit late, I know that post Covid hotels have cut staff to make savings but 3pm! Really.
On that same issue one way they could really progress is by being a bit more environmentally conscious, lots of hotels now don’t have tiny bottles of shampoo etc instead go larger wall mounted options which can still be high products but much less plastic waste. We said the lady servicing our floor NOT to “do” our room as we were leaving the next day. She ignored us, changed towels which were then never used, threw away soap and shampoo that could have been used that night and put brand products out, wasteful and unnecessary.
However, as I said, the hotel is gorgeous and would happily stay again.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. Adults only so had a mature vibe. Exceptional breakfast. Room was a little noisy and our light in bathroom.

Very nice hotel. We highly recommended

Beautiful property and room. Friendly, professional and helpful staff. Excellent location within walking distance to attractions.
Will gladly stay there again.

Lovely hotel with great service and a convenient location. We stayed in the annex in a large premium suite. Breakfast was amazing! We asked for gluten-free options and each received a basket of goodies. The buffet included eggs, meat, cheese, and fruit. The only negative was a weak wifi in the annex. There is a flight of stairs to the annex which was not an issue for us.

I want to start by saying the staff is so very lovely.
Heads up, if you are reserving the "comfort" room, take note these rooms are NOT in the hotel. They are around the corner in the parking garage. They do have a window that faces right into the smoke yard so don't expect to open the window. We found this out the hard way.. I ended up having to pay for an upgrade to a room that faces into the street. The problem with that is there is a hostel and a club style restaurant across the street from this hotel. The music goes on until at least 2:30 in the morning and then 3 o'clock in the morning from the club just down the street. The garbage pick up and the maintenance crew are out at 6 AM so don't expect to get much sleep. Other than that, the breakfast was OK, and the comfort of the beds. Also, just OK I would have expected more from a hotel like this. I would not recommend to stay here. But like I said, at the beginning, the staff was really amazing.

Fabulous hotel. Would happily stay here again! Staff were so helpful. We checked in very late and they were very accommodating. Our room was very nice and they thoughtfully left a box of chocolates and a little note as we were celebrating our Wedding Anniversary. The bed was one of the comfiest beds I have ever slept in in any hotel. Breakfast was great with lots of choice including lots of fresh fruit, cooked and continental. Lovely restaurant setting. Location was excellent, just round the corner from the main square but very quiet in the evenings. Lots of lovely restaurants close by. I could write lots about this hotel as we were so impressed. Will definitely be returning.

We encountered a very unprofessional staff at the reception. We had asked for a room with 2 good seats, which should be fine. It was a simple economy room we were allocated, and the staff were not willing to make changes as agreed. There was plenty of space in the hotel, so it wouldn't have been a problem. It states that there is a restaurant in the hotel, which is not the case. The prices in the bar are overpriced in relation to the area, and in general. The hotel cannot be recommended. Located in a bad area, and is tired. A plus is breakfast and the breakfast room.

Really lovely hotel. Staff so helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. The location was amazing just up from the main square. Would highly recommend staying at this hotel

The hotel was beautiful and clean. Our room was well appointed, and our entire stay felt luxurious. It was a very easy walk to the square where there were many shops, restaurants, and bars. The front desk people were friendly and helpful and made the stay more enjoyable.

My husband booked this as a surprise birthday and the staff were welcoming. We booked a suite which was more a junior suite (no separate bedroom) and it was at the front of the hotel. The issue was it is directly opposite a hostel and bar which was noisy until 2am so we got little sleep. We asked to move and had a slightly smaller room at the back (not much in it) but it was lovely and quiet. We live in central London so are used to noise but being right opposite a loud bar was a real issue.
The toiletries were L’Occitane which were lovely but in little bottles so not environmentally friendly which was a disappointment as it felt wasteful.

Great property - would definitely stay again.

Building is very nice, inside and out. Air con is centrally controlled. You can switch it on and off but not change temperature settings. Breakfast is fairly standard. Coffee machine in room. We stayed 3 nights

Absolutely beautiful hotel with very helpful and accomodating staff. I loved the colours the foyer and guest area were decorated with, and the room was comfortable with character features including roof beams and gabled windows looking out ocer the rooftops of Bruges.

Very luxurious and great staff

Excellent hotel close to main areas of interest. Friendly and professional staff. Very clean and beautiful bar/sitting area.

The area is convenient and the hotel is nice but the noise until late at night didn’t allow me to get a good nights sleep which is the most important when booking a hotel

Great location, comfortable room, wonderful breakfast!

The property is nice. But it’s a bit of a subpar 4 star. When I asked for salt and pepper at breakfast I got the little packets. The tables have fake plants on them, but only 1/4 of the room. We had an over the garage room (annex) that was nice but you had to leave the hotel so you feel like the worker living in the backyard. Still nice but didn’t exceed anywhere.

Absolutely excellent hotel,
Rooms beautiful, Staff so accommodating and friendly and very central location I would recommend to anyone!

Superb adults-only hotel, beautifully refurbished, nicely located. Very nice rooms, very friendly and efficient staff, and nicely located near to the main square. Small onsite car park, otherwise I can find no fault. This hotel is as good as any of the Dukes. Thoroughly recommended.

Good hotel, and great location for catching the tram to centraal station.
4.5
Excellent stay in a great location. Beautiful property and nice room.
4.5
Overall good experience. Central to everything in historical center. I wouldn’t consider this a “luxury” property. The room was plenty big and had good enough amenities such as shower and tub, coffee, and toiletries. The only downside was the windows faced a hostel and we now understand why the windows were double paned. Staff was excellent! Always helpful and sauna wellness was great!
4.5
Nice hotel but parking was an issue as all the carparks nearby were full when we arrived so ended up having to park a 15 minute walk away.
4.5
The room itself was gorgeous, well decorated and spacious. The bathroom had limited headroom in the shower making it difficult to fully use (you had to squat in the bath to use the shower head as it was impossible to stand up). Beside this the room was good value for money and in an excellent location to access all the city has to offer
4.5
Our room was large and very comfortable for 5 nights. Even though we overlooked the Main Street and a bar opposite it was quiet. The spa is a nice facility as is the gym.
Be careful with the breakfast as the range is huge and the quality excellent.
