Great for two night stay near Bassano del Grappa. Only downside if that is important, was the town is a 20min walk so a little far after many grappa tastings. Restaurant is excellent but on the pricy side to eat there every night but is recommended once in the stay. Bed mattress one of us found a bit hard the other was okay with it so it depends what you prefer. Choice of pillows was great though. Excellent choice at breakfast especially considering not many guests during our stay but the breakfast buffet was fully loaded with wide choice.

I really love this property (the buildings, my room, the garden, and especially the staff!), however had an unfortunate experience my first night at their onsite restaurant--AND (my bad), posted a negative review before giving the restaurant an opportunity to resolve the issue.
That situation has since changed, = they were as dismayed as i was once they heard about my experience, and have since made every effort to correct it. As a result, I hope to book at the property again next year, when returning with my daughter and perhaps additional friends, to attend the Biennale in Venice--from which they are only a 1-hour (& $7 EU!) train ride away!

This is a beautiful hotel in wonderful grounds. However, I feel that they should keep tables available for dinner for guests who have rooms booked. We had 3 rooms booked and had booked here specifically because there was a restaurant, we were arriving quite late and the food had been so good last time we were in the area. We called on the way from the airport to reserve a table only to be told that they had a function on and we would have to find somewhere else to eat. We did not know the area and arrived in the centre of town around 9.15pm. We couldn't find anywhere to park, so didn't eat until after 10.15 (and this was only because the guys running the restaurant kept their kitchen open for us). We eventually got to the hotel around midnight. Absolutely shattered. Not an ideal start to a business week in Italy. Other than that everything was fine.

Beautiful hotel and fabulous food.

Checkin was very friendly. Although the restaurant was fully booked, I got offered a table and some excellent wines and grappa (the main reason I stayed there :-))
Only in my room internet coverage was very slow / not existing. Given that i was on a motorcycle trip and I wanted to plan the ride for the next day, this was a little uncomfortable for me.

We only stayed one night as we were in the area for the Andrea Bocelli concert. We were offered an early dinner and a bus to the concert in Marostica which was fantastic, it saved any hassles for us. The Hotel is in a lovely setting, with a fabulous restaurant attached. We were only able to book a standard room as the Hotel was full when I booked, however it was great, everything we needed for one night. I would definitely recommend this Hotel.

An out of the (tourist) way destination. Location is wonderful; close to Venice and mountains. The old town is mostly pedestrian only which adds to the charm. There is always something going on during the day or evenings. The weather is perfect in this part of Italy; warm days but a nice, cool breeze at night.

The hotel is nicely located but there is traffic noise in the rooms facing the main side street. Unfortunately our two rooms for my friends and us were located in the main hall right past the lounge and reception area. The floors are tile and at night up until 1am people were up and down the hall, talking loudly and keeping us awake. There was no escape from the noise. I was going to complain but was not sure there was anyone who spoke English. The next morning when We decided to cut our stay short and leave, the desk clerk told me that these two rooms were the ones for the rate we paid. She did offer us an upgrade which we declined. At 120 euros a night, I expected something of much higher quality. I have stayed all over Italy many times over the past ten years and work at finding excellent hotels at that rate or below. On this trip we have stayed in two small city hotels,4star which were exceptional and two agriturismo farm stays which were outstanding at 2/3 that price. If you plan on staying at this particular hotel, you had better upgrade.

This boutique hotel is probably one of the best hotels if not the best of the Basano del Grappa area. It's an old italian villa with great views of the Basano area from it's terrace. Rooms are well designed and impeccable. Restaurant is great and worth making the reservation for dinner. Service in the hotel and restaurant is a bit slow but very warm and friendly, as is to be expected of a family run hotel. Stay there, it's worth it.
