No problems checking in around 10 pm ; the clerk really took time to read my request for a quieter room ( I am a very light sleeper) and lucky for us, she found a room on top floor. Room was clean, spacious ; nice tavern just across the street; a few nice dinning options for earlier dinner ( they close around 10 pm I belive. Nice breakfast at the property)

Very beautiful, updated, and quiet. We loved our stay! The breakfast was amazing, and the room was very clean. The only thing I could say I was disappointed in was the cleanliness of the hot tub. It didn't look like it had been cleaned in a long time. After seeing that we looked closer at the pool and wondered when it was last cleaned as well. Over all, a really great stay and will be back!

The in-room fireplace didn’t work, the bath tub drain was clogged, and the pool had a visibly thick film on the water surface (turned around at the sight of it with disappointed kids).

Location is epic. Service is amazing & amenities are plentiful! Rooms are spacious, top notch & pool is great! Dining options nearby are fantastic & breakfast has something for everyone! Highly recommend!!

They were under construction during our stay so it was a bit messy and loud. But also- the ice machine was not working, the pool and jacuzzi were closed, the juice machine was broken, the pancake machine broken, hard dried-out bread and pastries, complimentary popcorn machine broken, our room was dirty with dried spills and drink rings on the surfaces, construction dust in the corners behind the doors and on the bathroom counter, hairs on the floor and tub. Disappointing for sure. Alas, our river view room provided amazing views and it was a comfortable place to lay our heads at the end of the busy days.

This was the nicest and most adorable place we stayed in our vacation. They were just finishing their updates to the facility and it was so lovely and clean. We messed up our reservation and they were still able to accommodate us with a smile. Jasmine, you were amazing! We loved the view of the river and Astoria Bridge. For once, the ADA rooms were near the elevator, instead at the end of the hall. We appreciated this since we had extra luggage. We'll definitely stay with you again when we're in Astoria.

Had a good stay here 5 years ago so decided to stay here again. Unfortunately the place has become quite run down in 5 years. Shady people staying here and I did not feel safe.

The view from our room and the location of the hotel on the river is exemplary. This hotel is undergoing huge remodeling and should not be charging the prices they are asking. No Pool or hot tub, though we got a bit of a discount for this. The morning complimentary breakfast was excellent.

We were disappointed with our recent stay at your hotel. Here's why: The hotel was undergoing renovations, which were not mentioned on your website. Due to renovations, key amenities like the pool were unavailable but still charging the full rate felt unfair. It would have been appropriate to offer a discount to reflect the limitations imposed by the renovation. Our room was not properly cleaned. Finding hair on the pillow was a clear sign that housekeeping standards were not met. Additionally, dust was present in the lobby air likely due to the ongoing renovations. This detracted from the overall ambiance.

This was the second time I have stayed at this hotel. The pool and hot tub were unavailable due to so that was a big disappointment after driving for 13+ hours. The breakfast was not as appetizing as the last time I stayed either. The beds were okay but sheets a bit wrinkled. The view of the mouth of the Columbia River was very nice and also the view of the pier and bridge over the river/ocean. Another positive was it was very quiet on our floor.

We had a reservation from 6/6/2024-6/9/2024. I was called a couple days before to be informed that the hotel was under renovations and ALL amenities were closed. I asked for an adjusted rate at that time and was told that it was just a call to let me know and no compensation was being offered. At this point, all rooms were sold out in Astoria, At check in, I was told the suite we had reserved was overbooked so we had a regular room, but she would comp us an adjoining room as a courtesy. Which is not a courtesy comp because I paid for the bigger room and was not given a regular rate for the room. I was upset and the agent just asked me, if I wanted to stay or not. The next day, housekeeping was playing loud music as she cleaned the rooms next to ours, very unproffesional, and there was a trash bag left in the hallway our entire stay. The TV randomly shut off, not like a 2 hour sleep shut off, but in random time increments. The room phone was called twice while I was sleeping, to let me know the pool was closed. Which I was told ahead of time and at check in. In the mornings there was construction going on all around us and some kind of corporate visits. We overheard them asking why our floor wasn't closed. We spent a lot of money for this trip for my neices graduation and it was very uncomfortable and inconvenient the whole 3 days. I should be given a lower rate for the room and service that we were given. I am hopeful that Holiday Inn will issue a partial refund immediate

The rooms seemed to be newly done & very nice. Plenty of room. We loved that the timer for the fireplace was for up to 60 mins instead of 20 like it was the other 3 times we've stayed there. It was very disappointing that the swimming pool was out of commission. They did call us a few days before our trip to let us know. We were traveling with children & grandchildren, one of whom got sick during the trip. We had need of the laundry room, & it was out of commission, too. Bad timimg on our part but disappointing for the price you have to pay to stay in a hotel these days. Overall, it was a good stay & we'll stay there again.

There were ants in our room. The hot tub wasn’t working. The lady at the front desk wasn’t helpful and didn’t apologize for our situation with the ants. We bought Krispy cream donuts and the ants were all over it the next morning.

We had a couple of outlets in our room that were broken so chargers would not stay in the wall. The wall paper in the bathroom was peeling up around the shower. The second morning I guess there was an oven malfunction and breakfast was very limited. Hot tub and pool looked pretty gross, the sauna and drinking fountains were broken and not available. Breakfast the first morning was good, the room was clean and comfortable.

We stayed in the two room suite. It was nice, but it had ants! The pool area was run down and the pool water was cloudy with the hot tub currently in disrepair. The views were great and the location along the walking path was wonderful! It was an average stay.

My wife and I enjoy the occasional weekend getaway down to the Oregon coast. We regularly stay here when we do. We’ve always managed to get a room with a river view. The staff is friendly, helpful and accommodating. The rooms are always clean, with luxurious bedding and soft, fresh towels. We’re already looking forward to our next stay here!!

I love this place. I travel to Astoria several times a year for work, and have stayed at several other spots. Nothing beats the cleanliness, the friendliness or the convenience. I had a lovely room overlooking the water in this last trip- it was spotless and the front desk was really friendly and nice. I’m not moving around anymore- this is my spot!

Beautiful location right on the river and under the big bridge. It was easy to walk right out the door and onto the boardwalk. We had a nice room with a great view and a fireplace. The layout of the suite was really unique in that it almost felt like an apartment. The bedroom and the living room, although not enclosed, felt like they were two very separate rooms because the bathroom and the coffee station and fridge were in between. This was very nice when I was up early in the morning and did not want to disturb my husband. I loved the fact that there were three sets of double hooks in the bathroom to hang towels and toiletry bags from, which is almost always lacking in hotel rooms. My only complaint was that the hot tub was out of order due to "repairs," which is one of the reasons I booked the hotel. It seems that since the pandemic there have been a lot of hot tubs empty and under repair, and three years seems to be a lot of time to fix them. Anyone else notice this?

Check in was fast and easy. Staff was profession and kind. The room was clean and spacious. They didn’t have vending machines, but had a small snack area to purchase snacks and drinks. I cannot say enough about the service and free breakfast. Many options available. I highly recommend this Holiday Inn in Astoria, OR.
