This hotel/ parador is a do not miss experience. It’s a beautiful spot in Malaga? Perched on top of the hill. The views are to die for. Very comfortable, great breakfast and bar.

Service in the lobby bar restaurant was horrible- we waited 20 minutes for someone to take our order. Service in the upstairs restaurant was wonderful with nice views.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. only criticisms are Other than the breakfast, food was not great And made more difficult because I am vegetarian and there was very little on offer for me
Some of the staff In the downstairs restaurant were somewhat rude
Found the hotel very comfortable on the location was perfect for what we wanted
Views were exceptional
The pool area was also very quiet

A charming hotel overlooking Malaga. Large comfortable room with balcony overlooking the city on the top of Mont Gibralfaro. Good size pool but no pool bar. Hotel has a well regarded restaurant plus a pleasant cafe/bar and terrace. City is reachable on foot but we used the local bus and taxis. I would recommend for a quiet location but not for a lively city break. Large car park if touring.

Honestly not great. Hallways quite dingy. View was terrible from the room even with making a request months prior to check in for a higher floor. Extremely noisy, can hear everything above us. Pool does not look like the pictures AT ALL. Not worth it.

The hotel has a really breathtaking vore, the staff members at the reception are very nice and helpful. The breakfast has a variety of options with a choice of hot plates to order. The bed very comfortable and the rooftop swimming pool very relaxing.

All lovely. Immaculate hotel. Very helpful staff. Liked the pool.
Easy walk down the scenic path into central Malaga, but too steep and too far to walk back after a night out. You need a taxi.,

The property made our trip to Malaga memorable. It’s basically attached to the Gibralfaro and the views from the rooms, the restaurants and outside the hotel is spectacular

The hotel is beautiful with friendly staff and great food, Cava with breakfast is a lovely touch. The hotel is high up so there can be a lot of walking but there is a bus up and down to the city centre, The Castle, Alcazabar, the cathedral and the city in general are beautiful. Would recommend the hotel and Malaga in general.

This hotel is at the top of Malaga, directly under the castle. It's out of the way of all the city noise. There is a very steep walking path to downtown. We walked to the beach and restaurants. Getting to the main shopping area is a little out of the way. The walk back uphill was not reasonable so we took a taxi. They seem short on staff in the restaurant and breakfast area. The waitstaff that was on hand couldn't keep up. They were very friendly however.

Location is just incredible.

This hotel was great. I enjoyed my stay very much. The location was amazing next to the castle in Malaga. I would go back to stay there again.

Lovely Parador at the top of the hill with the most gorgeous view! Carla received us warmly and was very helpful as well. Our room was of a good size, bright, clean, and with an awesome view, looking over the port of Malaga. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Lots of parking around the premises We didn’t have dinner at their restaurant. I would recommend this hotel for the views, but be aware that to go down and up from where all the recommended tapa bars and restaurants are located, will take you some time to public-park and walk to them.

The location is unique, as are the views. Maybe not the best if you want to spend all your time in the middle of the town but well worth a single stay. Staff and service were exceptional.

Problem at check in, reception staff not interested in helping

From check in to check out the service was 10/10. Everything as pictured, accurate description on the website. Food delicious & reasonably priced for a 4* hotel. Would definitely stay here again

This is not a cheap stay, you pay for the location and view and rooms are spacious. However they are quite simple with bare floors and very thin walls so you can hear alot of banging and scraping. The clientele when we were there were older couples so the noise did reduce at night. Also they did accommodate a room change request for this reason, although the second room suffered the same problem. It is just the construction of the building. The breakfast and dinner are good and the service was excellent. However, overall, the value was not great. The location is not great if you want other dining or shopping options.

Quiet away to itself on top of hill but close to city centre along a steep path past the castle to the alcazar. Take 35 bus back up unless you enjoy the climb. Unique location.
Immaculate hotel with efficient staff.

Views were good and staff helpful.
Checked the chit and we had been billed at breakfast for the breakfast, although we had half board, corrected quickly. Arrived back at 10pm one day, no coffee left after it had been service whilst we were out all day.

Great place....friendly very professional staff and views you would kill for. Great quality. Walk to city centre is 20 minutes with poor footing downhill. Back up is steep and
40 minutes - get a taxi.

Wonderful Parador high above Malaga with wondefful view great service and comfortable rooms. One of the highlights of our fortnight in Spain.

Easy and fast check-in process, very clean and neat room with a fantastic view of the city/area. We dined at the bar which had decent food and drinks. Plenty of parking space in the hotel property and it’s free of charge! The bus option is also a plus.

We ended every day walking up from the historic city to the Paradore. The views simply cannot be beat.

The hotel property is extremely beautiful, without a doubt. And all the rooms face the harbour. You are very high up a winding road, right next to the ruins of a Moorish castle from the 1300's. For this reason alone, it is worth it. Our room was large, spotless, comfy, but not particularly modern or posh. The walls are very thin, so we experienced much noise from families with small children. The service in the cafe, bar area was really slow. I do not think they have enough staff. But the staff on all counts were very professional, personable and as helpful as could be.
