Wonderful, atmospheric, historic inn, NEXT DOOR to Edward Gordy House. đź‘» Amazingly well-stocked bar with great Belgian beers and inventive fancy cocktails.

Lovely property. Not completely worth the high price tag (high humidity in the room, noisy above the kitchen, staff were ok, not super pleasant), but I guess that's the price you pay for a few summer nights in Cape Cod. Our room was very clean and the bed comfortable. Location wasn't far from most places we wanted to visit.

My stay was peaceful at this beautiful bed and breakfast. The location is convenient to all routes and activities. The staff is warm and inviting. The sleeping quarters are clean perfectly decorated. The bed is so comfortable. Thank you James and staff for a welcoming stay.

The Chapter House is an absolutely beautiful property. My husband and I went to The Cape for our anniversary and couldn't be happier with our stay here. It was clean and had a very calm and relaxing feel to it. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. I cant imagine staying anywhere else at The Cape after staying at The Chapter House. Absolute 5 star experience!

I was really pleasantly impressed by my staying at the Chapter house. I was there just for 2 nights with my family and I did not regret our choice since the property is really nice, especially the space outside for enjoying a drink or making breakfast. Not knowing Cape cod we were not quite sure where to stay in the area but after visiting I would say the position is just perfect for exploring “the Cape”. Multiple choice for restaurants nearby and we discovered also a few nice markets were you can easily grab some food for your day. Continental breakfast was good with high quality pastries and good coffee.. if they offered also eggs and bacon it would have been perfect.

The room was very small and bathroom.Usually when you pay this much for a stay it is top notch. In this case it was not.Coffee in the morning at the main house was in a Keurig instead of higher standard coffee.Positive note was the room was made very early. The grounds were very nice and had a comfortable patio.

Visiting from the UK we found this hotel a perfect location for us. Hotel was perfectly clean and beautifully renovated for such an old building, it had everything we needed. Local village walkable, with a couple of shops and places to eat all with 5-10 minutes. Nearest large town was Hyannis, but central to anywhere else on the Cape.

The place was very charming but the air conditioning was not sufficient with the small window unit. The staff were very kind and helpful.

Great gravel parking lot with easy access to the rooms. Beautiful outdoor area for lounging. Room was cool and mattress was very comfortable. Loved our stay!

The rooms were terrible. Very very small. Uncomfortable beds, small bathroom. Ac was very loud and old and most of the time doesn’t work properly. It’s either too hot or
Too old. Included breakfast was very bad. Terrible coffee, and drinks were stupid expensive at the bar. I ordered a single malt scotch that cost $48 for the whole bottle. I got charged $30 for a shot. Ridiculous. I was in switzerland over the summer at the most expensive hotel in the world and I ordered a 18 year old single malt scotch and I got charged $22 dollars. They also charged my wife $20 for a martini with well vodka, and charged me $14 for a grey goose martini. Inconsistent prices and doesn’t make sense. That’s what you get with family owned businesses with local staff. Do not stay here.

Not a warm and welcoming B&B. No owner on site, just employees. Breakfast was very limited. Muffins and yogurt. No fruit, no eggs, no nothing. All self service. I would not recommend this place.

Incredible B&B built in 1719. Staff was amazing, breakfast delicious, the huge yard and firepit perfect, and the room spacious. What a gem!

I travel a lot for work and this was the most welcoming and overall nicest place I’ve stayed.

After tiring of typical hotel/motel situations, this was a delightful discovery. Well located on RT6A, we were in "striking distance" of restaurants both high end and others. The room was clean and pleasant. Access to the living room and dining areas in the house was easy and delightful. A continental breakfast in the morning set the day up wonderfully! The host was easy to work with and just a nice guy!! We will definitely return.

Our stay at the historical Chapter House was peaceful and beautiful. My husband has difficulty walking and Jim arranged for us to stay in the guesthouse unit that didn’t require stairs. All the staff were helpful and friendly. Our room was very functional with a small refrigerator and Keurig coffee machine. The house has a wonderful deck with a fire pit that was so cozy. Twice I especially enjoyed having time to breakfast on the sun porch. While the home dates to the 1700s, the property is in beautiful condition and very tastefully decorated.

We had a wonderful stay. We will be going back. The place is charming and the hosts are so nice. This is the place to be to rest and have a great vacation. At a 11 minute road trip from a great beach, Mayflower beach, where we went three wonderful days, and an hour from Provincetown. We had an amazing stay at the Chapter House. Thank you.

Beautifully structured house. House well cared for and preserved. Staff informative, helpful and professional. Locals stopping by for socializing affirms this is the place to hangout and enjoy. Luxurious bedding, hot shower both promoting relaxation. The extra time taken for a message to the guest, providing a sachet, water and the optional lavender, linen spray is a welcoming touch. Libations are on point.

The Chapter House is a beautiful, well located BnB, with a very friendly staff. The beds were comfortable, the breakfast was simple but tasty and we enjoyed a drink by the firepit to end each night. A few miles from Mayflower Beach and plenty of good restaurants. We will make this an annual tradition.

And right next to The Edward Gorey House. Amazing!

Although its an historic building the decor and furnishings new , fresh and very clean. The bathrooms were all new and spotless. The owners and staff were very nice and more than enthusiastic to give you the history of the building and provide information about were to go and what you can do for entertainment

This is a lovely old property in the process of becoming. The staff was wonderful, the property, beautiful. Location & parking were just fine. However,I chose this inn partially because it had a King room for us. Upon arrival, the room turned out to be a closet, taken up entirely by the bed, and with only a tiny window in a weird little tiny unusable ell of the room. No natural light = unacceptable. The only other room, was a Queen at a cost of $100 more/night. So for a room with no view, but actual windows (which didn't even open), and a smaller bed, it cost more. Infuriating bait & switch. We should have been offered the same price for the Queen room, as the Inn was basically empty. The breakfast was nice, but no other real amenities to speak of. In fact, when we tried to enjoy the fire pit on our last night there, the GM started shutting down the patio around us (the only guests) at 7:pm - Clearly signaling that he wanted to go home. I would not recommend this place. Also, for any future travelers, our second room was on the 3rd floor - probably old servants quarters - steep, narrow stairs would make this problematic for some people so be sure to ask. It was very difficult to carry our luggage in & out.

Jim, the property manager - excellent service!
