Stay as far away from this cowboy hotel we had a week book and sent emails to request late check in as requested by hotel only to land to be told our reservation has been cancelled and we weren't only ones this happen to. Charged us for a week didnt get to stay 1 night no refund nothing and then have cheek to ask for review

Good location, very nice and friendly front desk staff

Disappointed as one member of our party of 8 was late and was recharged for his room and only after an agrumemt with a number of staff was he given what they called a complimentary room for the second night( this room was paid for before we travelled but as we did not email to notify the hotel his 2 night booking was cancelled) Another mêmber of the group unhappy with his room asked for an upgrade,offered and charged for same but when he went to change they told him they could not give it to him as they sold it to someone else They did give him an inferior room but no refund of the extra cost

Great location budget hotel. You get exactly what they describe and the price is cheap. Free parking and location of most things is within 10 minutes drive. 24h desk and WiFi is decent. We had a balcony with a great sea view. They also have a pool. Clean but only small negative was mattresses weren't the comfiest - bit worn and could do with upgrades.

Only drawback for me was the tiny pool - not the end of the world but I couldn’t do my daily laps

Breakfast was very limited and if you arrived after 9 the bread was done. Only butter with salt which I don't like since I'm almost saltless. The personnel was very polite but didn't undertake much to make the stay more convenient. Furthermore the water in the shower was cold for the morning shower, in the afternoon it was nice. The shower head and it's connection point were almost loose. The room was kinda clean though.

It’s a good place to stay (good location, private bathroom, balcony, breakfast included) but staff could be more demanding for cleaning.

Where do I start? I read that if we needed a later check in to let hotel know, I called them several times but they didn’t pick up, so I messaged them to say we had a later flight, Id did this 3 weeks before we due arrive, 2 weeks before 3 days before and the when we arrived at the airport we were delayed so I messaged them again to tell them be around 11.30 pm I’d also spoke to Expedia 2 weeks before as I thought I’d booked a balcony room (as that’s what showed on the booking photos) and I asked them to also let the hotel know We’d be late, when they said they would call to check on the room, But we arrival we were told no your room isn’t available as your to late for check in so it’s gone as a noshow, We asked if we could have our rooms later he said no your a no show, this went on for 10 mins, I told him I’d messaged them several times, and I’d spoke to Expedia to tell them he was having none of it, My husband asked for our money back he said no you need to ask who you booked with. so I messaged Expedia (as there was no number to call) they were amazing rang the hotel straight away, they were on the phone to the hotel for 10 mins, hotel man kept saying no to late no show, but Expedia wouldn’t let them not and then we got handed our room key all pre wrote out, so our room wasn’t gone, Well we got into it around 1.30am it was awful room 103, smelt awful like a hostel room, no balcony we were gutted, Had to pay €66 for balcony room, 603 a bit better, Breakfast is bad

There was no aircon in any of the rooms and they would only give fans to people children. This was the first time I checked out of a hotel early and moved to any hotel in my life. Avoid staying here.

Disappointing!! 2/10 Too hot. No ceiling fan, no A/C. Unbearable!! No privacy since we can our neighbors room and vice versa from the balcony. To avoid at any cost. Not worth it. Thank god we only stayed for 1 night.

Hotel not great with communication via email as in don’t respond! Overall very tired appears. Rooms not that clean. Wouldn’t recommend and needless to say won’t be back

The scenic view, the breakfast, the stuff was great. But way too less (1) sockets for charging. Should be changed.

Bathroom mouldy shower blocked overflowed. No view only plants which was so hot its was like a greenhouse. Damp room with mould in wardrobe so never unpacked. 4 coat hangers. Got bit in bed. No fridge in room. Holes in walls doors noise all night and early hours. Went for breakfast no were to sit and it was just rolls so never bothered. I won't return I have been coming to Portugal 20 years I would rather had slept on beach the TV was old and remote never matched the whole place needs a revamp very dated and shabby

This hotel expects you to use the same towel for three days. Also, when I asked for a new towel, staff were reluctant to give me another. The new towels had blood stains, which is very Worrying.Breakfast is basically cereal, coffee and bread.On the whole, the staff are nice but the owner needs to invest in the hotel to bring it to modern standards.

Lovely hotel for what we payed. Lovely views from the rooftop. Not good if you have walking trouble there are steps up to the hotel...

Needs an update terrible beds old towels very old TVs , it really needs some work.

Bed, bathroom, amenities very very dated. Just for exemplified the television is tube 14” with no remote control and only 1 channel available. The bed and towel and sheets very old and yellow.

The hotel left much to be desired largely due to the owner's unwillingness to spend money on the upkeep. Staffing and cleaners were insufficient in numbers, although the staff that I had contact with were wonderfully friendly and helpful and obviously doing their best to cope with a very difficult situation.

This hotel is the worst I have ever stayed in. On arrival was told no room available as we had missed check in!! Not sure how whoever had our room managed to check in as it was our room till 8 pm and check in closed at 8 pm. Went back next day room was supposed to be ready at 2 didn’t get it till 4.30 supposedly had an upgrade only thing that could have been upgraded was the view. Hotel is well past it’s best and not even clean. save your money and AVOID

The hotel itself is in a lovely position overlooking the bay, and the pool is very nice. Most of the time the water was brown from the hot water tap! We had a good time with the other guests, we sat laughing at all the things wrong with the hotel!

Truly horrible experience, the only thing this hotels has in its favour is that it’s cheap but it’s so bad that sleeping in the car would be a better choice. The receptionist, who was the only member of staff I saw, tried his best but it was still painful. The breakfast staff simply failed to appear so after 45 mins I went elsewhere for breakfast. Condition is terrible, I was told that it’s scheduled to be completely renovated soon and hence there had been no maintenance and nobody cares.

Not very good experiencev as we were put in different hotel, coz hotel Gale had toilet problem.Lot of time we were kept waiting standing for transfer despite of long 3 hours journey.2 days , 4 people lost breakfast as no breakfast was served in new place.
