Had a lovely stay there. Room was good with onsen inside. Lots of facilities. A lot of walking trails around

The property was poorly maintained
The bathroom was dirty and smelt bad

Cleanliness of the changing rooms to the hot springs needs to be improved. There was a used mask in the male steam room and an opened bottle of water on the table which were still there on the next day. Staff were attentive in the dining room and took away the dirty dishes promptly.

Upon arriving at the resort, we were greeted by friendly staff and they gave us a short car ride to the building we stayed at. Any questions we raised at the counter, they were helpful to assist us. Despite the slightly dated interior, the overall environment was clean and tidy. There were quite a few different hot spring spots in the indoor and outdoor areas. It was very relaxing and peaceful, as we tried out the various hot springs where some had pressurized bubbles.
One of the more memorable moments was when we wanted to head out to Yehliu Geopark, but we had difficulties catching the bus due to the more remote location. The weather was also quite terrible at the time with serious fog and misty rain... The resort driver spotted us helplessly waiting outside and offered us a lift to the park (which was not that close as the car ride was around 25 minutes) for a small fee. We were extremely grateful for the gesture and he also pointed out the various bus stops to teach us how to get back to the resort during the ride.
Out of all the hotels/resorts I have been to, this was hands down one of the best experiences I had with the exceptional service and considerate staff. I definitely recommend this place for those who would like to have a chill vacation and get out of the city.

Very nice stay
Love the option of having a hot spring soaking tub in the balcony outside our room.
Food was excellent

It is a hot spring resort. It is atop a national park, the resort provides some food but the goal is to relax and this place provides on that front. Going from place to place is hard without a car.

Good place to relax ourselves
4.2
I personally feel and like the hotel, a quiet environment place for relaxation in the hot pool, natural air and good for walking around. Also with the quality spread of foods

smells bad...veryvery humid
yet hot spring itself was great

Nice area, hotel is kind of old.

This is a resort place with first choice to bring my family for vacation. We had visit there more than 6 times. They still maintain the place very well. People serve there are friendly and willing to help with your request. However, food quality and many small little things that we can free to use disappearing which I guest due cost down reasons. That's not good.

Typical Taiwan hotel, where service is below Zero. Hotel itself is old, room charge is overpriced. Staff are very unprofessional, receptionists are very rude . Restaurant staff and food are terrible. In restaurants totally no any social distancing, so scared to get CoViD 19. My recommendation: DO not GO! Waist of money and time!!!
4.2
great view and service, dated decor and mold in some areas

The condition is not that good as I expected. There is also water dropping problem in the toilet

The hotel overall condition is nice but no aircon. Hot like mad.
Got a bit of smelly in the room

Hotel buildings seem old. Food can be better.

The name of the property is a bit misleading as it is located in JinShan.
The hotel facilities and room condition were more dated compared to the photos shown on the website.
Breakfast was great though.

Bathroom shower is not enclosed so once you take shower, the whole bathroom is wet & when you step out from the bathroom, the floor is wet.

Very relaxing place to stay. Enjoy the hot spring at the common area and in our room. Eating place is very limited, no convenient store around. Overall, excellent.
4.2
Front desk staff is nice and so does most staff. However, I feel the facility is kind of under maintained. Public hot pool temperature is too high to have a bath. Bathroom needs towels hangers. No bedside reading lights.
4.2
Pros: Views are beautiful. The private spa tub is on the outside balcony of our room. I believe most rooms if not all have the spa tubs outside on the balcony. To us this was the one factor that made the whole stay worth it despite all the other annoyances.Cons: The property is dated. Shower drain doesnt drain well when showering. Slippers they provide are reused by guests. We booked through Hotels.com but when we arrived, their paperwork said we booked through Expedia. This was quite odd. We received a Hotels.com VIP credit that can be used at their Spa massage. When we arrived, they had no idea what we were talking about. We didnt want to stress out arguing for it since we were on vacation so we just left it at that.Overall: the views and the private outdoor spa tub made the annoying things that we dealt with more bearable. In the end, the fact that we booked from Hotels but they said we booked from Expedia and we never got our Hotels VIP credit for massages was the breaking point for this low rating review.

Very good aquatic park and hotspring hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

It’s Amazing! Love this place and the public and private onsen selections are plentiful! With a backdrop against the mountain; this is a very relaxing trip The only downside is the lack of restaurant choices

Lovely property. Excellent spa. I booked a room with a hot tub on the balcony which was lovely to sit in and have a beer. Food was good and the staff were lovely.Nice nights stay whilst travelling around Taiwan.

Good and peace . Hot Spring is hot enough to make you sweating . Shuttle bus to Jin San village two times a day .

Dated property with overpriced mediocre restaurant, and tired beds, old worn down everything but featuring great hot spring pools and very friendly staff to make up for all that...
It's a VIP+ hotel, but really offers none of the perks: they gave a spa ticket discount for 10%, but at the spa you see that's their promotion for everyone. Late check-out not available, nor room upgrades.
Bad value for money as the rooms like the elevator are old fashioned and falling apart.
As noted though, really nice staff and they do have on site parking! If you do stay, do yourself a favour and bring your own food or eat before arriving.
