It was a right decision and we are meet Goodd staff, good place.

All the conventional measures are not how you measure this hotel... the food was decent -not great. The rooms were decent - not great. The staff was decent - not great. But the environment, location, peace, serenity, etc. were phenomenal. It’s a fantastic place to stay if the hero of the trip doesn’t need to be 5 star accommodations. We loved it- and would go back.

Yani at reception was the most unhelpful person I’ve ever met at a hotel. They gave us wrong direction to chase for aurora and caused us not being able to catch it. She was also not helpful to check on the snow mobile and reindeer rides and her attitude is not good. She speaks with an attitude. Hotel does not even have room service. Serve 3 dishes for buffet throughout the day.

I am hard-pressed to come up with a more memorable and nicer vacation than what we spent at the Bears Lodge. Surprisingly, everything was much nicer than appeared in the pictures. The cabins were rustic on the outside, but extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean, warm, modern and beautiful on the inside. There was a spa and fireplace, both of which we took advantage of. Simple, short operating instructions were given for everything. There were heaters in every room and big beautiful windows. We came from Spain, so did not have proper clothes. These were available onsight for our use the entire stay if we booked even a single activity, otherwise, available for a small fee. We chose the husky ride and absolutely loved it. Food was great, and the people at the lodge were lovely. My two girls are already talking about going back, but want to stay for two weeks next winter and also visit in summer.
