Towels were very thin and scratchy
Heater did not work
Bed was not the most comfortable

My room, 101, was cute & clean. The bed and pillows were comfy. Shower pressure was good, and water stayed hot. Heat (wall thermostat) kept me warm and was very quiet. Office is not staffed regular hours, but owner responds to the ring doorbell quickly. They also answer emails quickly. There are 2nd floor rooms, so potential for overhead noise, but there was no one above me. There are train whistles, but I love that! Walking distance to "downtown" and grocery store. Refrigerator, microwave, coffe maker & hair dryer provided. No breakfast during off season. I had an enjoyable stay.

It was a nice stay. On the middle of an old western tien. There was even fridge and micro in room! Could go again.

Extremely friendly management. I was stuck on I-40 - it took 3 hours to drive the last 23 miles - which could have made me late for check in. When I called, they were very thoughtful and assured me it would be OK.

Great place to stay while visiting Williams.

It was centered in the heart of historic Route 66. Budget friendly and walkable to many food places. Would stay again.

The manager went over and beyond to make our stay pleasant. He took time to explain how to get to the train station and where the restaurants were. On our last morning, he stood and chatted with us and when we left, it felt we were leaving a good friend behind.

The cost was the best thing, very nice facility had that staying at a family's home type feel. Staff was very pleasant and friendly, great location to walk to everything in town, this may not be the place for everyone but if you want that home feeling in the middle of town then we highly recommend the Canyon Country Inn. Note you are close to the Crand Canyon railroad train, and you will hear the train blow the first horn in the morning about 7:00 AM and the last at about 10:00 PM but that is what made it part of its charm for us. I don't think there is to many places you won't hear the horn downtown Williams. We will be staying at the Canyon Country Inn again when we visit Williams AZ.

Front desk gentleman was nice and helpful. Traveling alone, I felt fairly safe at this hotel. However, the room was falling apart in various ways: sitting in bed to take off my shoes, because the chair was disgustingly stained, and the bed cracked like it was going to collapse; tiles cracked and popping up from the bathroom floor; sink cracked; mini frig & microwave were dirty and rusted; the linens were questionable as far as having been cleaned & sanitized, but I travel with Lysol so did my best to disinfect things; minimal furniture was in bad shape.
The really sad thing is that this pjs d could be very cute & quaint if some effort were put into it. Nice wrap around porch, with little bistro sets all along the way were a nice touch, but they were dirty and worn, just like the rest of the place.

Towels were beyond scratchy. Tv service was limited by the weather which was unacceptable.

Rooms were not very clean. The sink was cloged up and the bed had hair in it.Staff was not to helpful asked for more toilet paper and never got it.The area around it was good and had many dining and shopping options.Over all a poor quality but if your looking for a place to stay with no luxury what so ever its here.

Good value for the money. Nice location.

I liked the cleanliness, the old look style, the quietness. The over all look of the hotel. I didn't like the stairs.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious.

This was a quaint and lovely hotel, qw would come back to it.

Charming room in downtown Williams. Clean room. Friendly front desk staff. A few things didn't work (one light, and the TV was not connected to the remote), but these were minor.

The venue was convenient to town. Room was OK. No kleenex, no shampoo or conditioner. no bottled water on site or ice. bed was on a metal box that made a clunking sound when you got in or out. (Honeymooners stay away!!)

This Inn was clean and had everything we needed for our stay and was close to the railway station for the ride to the Grand Canyon. The only negative at all was the fact that the shower water flow was not quite the best snd we would have liked to have had some facial tissue in our room. very good overall.

Great location, pleasant workers, noisy bed.

A comfy small room, like staying at Grandma’s house. Clean and basic but all you need for a good nights sleep. They really could use an ice machine though.

The room was very small and we didn't have any night tables, but managed without them. Our TV didn't work - but I had my computer and did have internet. Manager was very friendly, room was clean and in a pretty quiet area. Breakfast was not as good or abundant as some other hotels. Not bad for one night - price was right.

Positives:
The area is quiet.
Great location for Route 66, Bearizona, and Grand Canyon.
Cheap place to stay.
Negatives:
The room was not clean. The floor had not been cleaned in awhile (really noticeable around the mini fridge.) I told the front desk the linens were dirty with noticeable hairs on them. The bed coverings looked and smelled like they had not been washed in some time. Bathroom towels also didn’t look the cleanest. After some discussion they grudgingly agreed to come by with clean sheets and one set of towels. I pulled the pillows (except for one which I used my own pillowcase) and bed coverings off as they did not seem very clean. I pointed out the dirty bathroom towels. The two men said the towels were new (bought 3 weeks prior.) They did not look new at all. I used the cleanest towels they had.
Although the price is cheap, I would NOT recommend staying here unless you don’t care about cleanliness or comfort. Book elsewhere.

Great location, clean and friendly, however breakfast options are very poor.
The use of fitted sheets on the mattress would make a better choice for comfort instead of flat sheets.

It was clean and comfortable and an easy walk to everywhere we wanted to go. No frills. Only bad thing was that no one was in the office when my parents got there. We had to call for them to get someone there. Parents had to wait 30 minutes. Not sure what the disconnect was.

Very nice location. Had an issue but was resolved quickly. Near the train track.

The location is perfect for walking to dinner and shops. Train comes by a few times after midnight but it’s part of the charm of Williams. No ice machine, but Safeway is walkable. And the room has a great little fridge freezer.

Very comfortable beds. Easy walk to downtown Williams. Manager Sunny was friendly and informative.

Front desk was friendly and helpful. King room was quaint with country decor. Close to stores and restaurants. Right on Route 66. There was a route 66 event going on so we were able to enjoy all the classic cars. Light Breakfast and coffee was available but we didn't stay for it.

The hotel was just like what was advertised, no surprises. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We also received one night reservation fee back as we had to shorten our stay.

Hotel rooms were clean and very spacious. Beds were great! Would definitely stay here again.
1.5 / 5.0
Good location, nice little town with lots of cute shops and good restaurants. The bed was comfortable. No extras and no microwave. The in room coffee single cup bags were like drinking brown water. Only 1 chair and the place is in desperate need of TLC and updating. For the price if all you are doing is sleeping and showering, it's fine. The owner was accommodating.

Friendly staff, all the basics necessary to have a nice stay close to Sedona, Grand Canyon and Flagstaff. Great find for the price! Plenty within walking distance. Would stay here again.

Employee who greeted us was very nice and able to assist us canceling one of our reservations.
He came by the next day to check on us too.
Rooms were clean and had what we needed.
We go every year and stay here!

I genuinely could not sleep on the abysmal mattress provided. It was old, lumpy, and sagged terribly. It ruined my entire following day.

Comfortable bed, clean, quiet room even though it was next to the street. Withing walking distance of restaurants and shopping. Cozy old school motel.

The main attraction is the Polar Express it ends 9:30 pm at that time there’s no one at the front desk. Only a phone number no one picks up, I had to go to another hotel DON’T GO THERE
