Overall good hotel: Small gym, a few weights with max of 20lbs. Housekeeper didn’t clean our room and when asked said they were sorry but they went home for the day. Breakfast was good.

All of the staff were great except for the young lady that prepared the breakfast, she was not pleasant at all. The rooms were spacious, but I had problems with the air condition, they did provided a fan. The ice machine did not work on my floor and one of the elevators was down the 3 days that I stayed. The parking lot has very poor lighting. I was very disappointed, not impressed at all.

Jordan was amazing and the woman who works nights! They made me feel so welcomed and ensured I was satisfied with my room. The patio was beautiful and shaded. It was my first time to Dayton and the suite alone made me never want to leave. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay again!

Our room was never cleaned even after we spoke to Jordon the night manager after the second night. It was supposed to be cleaned every other day during our four night stay. The bed skirts were stained. The thermostat was tricky to work. The breakfast room was very orderly and clean when the female attendant was working. Very disappointed with our stay.

Upon arrival, we discovered that one of the elevators was out of service. In addition, two of the ice machines (floor 1 and floor 2) were out of order. Finally, during breakfast the next morning, the juice machine was out of order. Bottled juices were not supplied. My son picked out a banana to eat with his breakfast, but upon peeling it, he discovered that it was rotten most of the way through. Some roasted potatoes would be a nice addition to the breakfast menu. The high top chairs provided in the lobby are not very comfortable and were difficult to get in and out of. When we went to sit outside on the patio, the smell of marijuana was very strong. I believe that some of the guests had been smoking marijuana on the patio. We arrived at the hotel later in the evening and when we went to enjoy some cool lemon water, the water in the jug was very low and it was evident that the water would run out very shortly. It was very difficult to operate the thermostat in the room. There were no directions on how to operate it and thus we spent a great deal of time trying to get the room to the right temperature. The bar of soap left in the bathroom that served as hand soap could be much better. It was hard to wash off your hands; it felt as if there was a residue left on my hands. The refrigerator in the room badly needed defrosting as there was a great deal of ice built up inside.

The room was very spacious and clean! The front desk staff was very helpful and did a great job with checkin and questions even with a large crowd because of a local sporting event. Breakfast was okay. The staff running breakfast was also trying to run the front desk because that person did not report for work. This caused things to get a bit messy at the breakfast area and hard to keep up with things but they handled it well and continued to be very friendly.

While this started out as great stay the first room was the only room that did not have TNT to watch the NBA games so we were offered to switch rooms to be able to watch is which is great. Until it wasn’t. We found a bed bug in our bathroom; neither of us had been bit at this time. After two nights in the second room, I left earlier than my partner and he checked out. At this time I had numerous bites all over my left arm and side, which is the side I laid on. He informed the check out desk when he checked out, they were supposed to call me because the booking was under my name. They have never called, do not recommend staying here. Poor service and very poor conditions.

Had called to say we would still be coming to get our room, but would be extremely late as we got delayed 6 hours, so we wouldn’t be in until around 3. Well when we got there for some reason they had closed ours out saying “definitely not making it” and because of that they couldn’t figure out how to make keys so she went and unlocked the door for us and when we left in the morning we just left to get back on the road. Felt very “rushed” and almost unwelcoming in the morning, like we needed to just get out.

The staff is courteous and friendly. Parking is ample, well lit and the over all condition of the property is well kept. The room was clean and quiet with comfortable beds and adequate linen supply. The continental breakfast was OK, but should have better selection at this hotel’s price point. I would be willing to stay at this location again if I have more business in the area.
