It's fine for what it costs. Close to everything. Manager and most staff are very reasonable. The staff member who checked me in however was rude and yelled at me to leave. I had a lot of extra luggage with me admittedly but a weary traveler does not deserve this treatment when moving cities with her cat.
The room was stuffy and smelled bad. There is no cleaning service during your stay. Just temper your expectations and it will do in a pinch. Bring cash!

This is a "you get what you pay for" situation. Yes it is sketchy, yes you kind of get the "no" feeling when you're in there, but it is a cheaper option than most. I survived and nothing was stolen, so that is good!

Dirty, Smelly, Noisy, Late in Check in, Staff are not friendly

I left the property. I didn't stay there, it was unclean and i felt unsafe

Not accessible at all, room had stuff splattered on wall, very loud (above a bar), had people try to get in my room multiple times, no a/c so very hot. The guy who worked some nights was very nice, but all the other staff was very rude and one would not let me into the premises at one point. You get what you pay for though!

Nice little building in an amazing location (right next to berri-UQAM metro station). the only issue i had during my stay was that there was no air conditioning, and i was there on a 30° weekend so it was nearly unbearable temperature-wise

Didn't look the same as seen on commercial online. The pictures shows the big building in the area but not the actual building. Very poor condition, bad odour inside, smoking odours. It says parking lot available but in actual fact, there is no parking space for the building, only the street parking for pay. No air conditioning.
I would not recommend this property.

It was okay. It was clean, but tiny. The ceiling fan is connected to the light, so not the best during summer with no AC. But the window opened, so that helped.
Very friendly service.

One of the most awful hotels I have ever stayed at.

No facilities at all!!

The customer service was the best part of it: the employees do what they can with the lemon they are working with.
The room was way too warm and the ceiling fan was not accessible (or working?). There is no window screen, so no way to prevent bugs from coming in. There is a strong cleaning product smell that last all of the night. And I've got multiple bug bites (85% certain there are bedbugs in the room).
Please steer clear from this lemon.

No AC and ventilation. Tiny rooms with no space to move around. We had an awful experience here. It’s totally wast of time/money to stay here.
1.0 / 5.0
No toilet inside the room ( need to go hallway to use it)
No shower room (you need to pay extra $10 to have own shower)
No toilet paper, no towel, no shampoo, no soap, no telephone) these are mandatory in rooms.
Noisy in surroundings from midnight to 4am (homeless people talking and laughing and screaming, can hear in broken windows)
No reception area to sit
Door at entrance automatically closed when you get out. So when you come back from walking or getting something from car, you need to door bell and wait until the receptionist comes (5-10 mins is long enough)
No air conditioning, there is ceiling fan but when you turn off the light it also turned off the fan. So need to leave the light open the whole time, which makes uncomfortable and more hot inside the room.
Not coming back and not recommended.

This is a hostel. The rooms are bare bone, no TV, no fridge, the towels were thin and old. We unfortunately overpay for this room. It is not worth $250 CAD.

Worst place in Montréal

Smelled like cigarettes (very strong in hallway, not as bad in the room). The private shower felt secure and had warm water. At times, there was no toilet paper in one of the communal bathrooms. There was also little to no hand soap, so we used bar soap instead.

Fantastic, would recommend to anyone

It has beds, and toilets and showers down the hall. Nothing fancy, but if you're just there to visit and need a place to rest your bones, it is great.

It was a little weird that the washroom didn’t have a sink, but rather the sink was in the bedroom. But overall the hotel was very good for the price.

A guy came into the reception while we were arriving to the hotel and he started a fight with the guard and the receptionist. They beat each other and ask to call the police. We had to remain at the reception to be protected from the people fighting. Then, the room offered had no individual bathroom and smells very bad.

You get what you pay for, and I fully expected it when I booked. It was a very old building, with old interior, old outlets, etc. The whole floor shares one shower stall and one toilet. It is alright for a one-night sleep-over, but I wouldn't use it for family vacation. Small room, no TV, no towels. Convenient and close to alll amenities though.

It was so dirty. We saw the room and we decided to NOT Stay there. We rather sleep in the car!

Shared dirty bathroom, tiny room without noise isolation, clogged sink in the room. Walkable distance to the downtown, free parking from 6pm to 12pm, comparatively cheap.

I am a seasoned traveler who has used Hotels extensively for my travels globally, and never have I encountered such a disappointing experience as with my recent stay at Hotels. Despite having paid the full amount for my booking through [App Name], upon arrival, I was unexpectedly asked to pay an additional fee. This was both surprising and concerning, as my booking confirmation clearly indicated that my payment was complete.
Moreover, the condition of the rooms fell far below my expectations. Not only were they not clean, but they were also very modest, lacking in the basic comforts and cleanliness standards I anticipated. This aspect of my stay further contributed to my overall dissatisfaction.

Don’t judge by the reviews the workers are great and helpful. It’s not the Hilton but I prefer it.

I booked a room with a bathroom and did get it but still got charged for it. The clerk let me know they were aware of it but I did not feel like a reimbursement was an option.
The room was cold and no spare bed sheets were available. There was a cigarette burn on my bed cover.

The staff were great and helpful even though I only knew English. Very positive experience and I’d stay there again.

The reception area has smell of smoke, someone was cooking onion and the smell of onion was all around the alley and rooms. We booked two queen beds one room but the beds were literally the size of the twin bed. The room had no washroom attached, just a single water sink,we were just wondering why is there just a sink , apparently toilet is in the alley and there is no sink to wash hands so that’s what the room sink is for .We asked the owners to give us an additional room if possible as the bed was not enough for two people,he gave us one additional room but it was weird room with a literally 1 by 1 inch bathroom and toilet and room smelled of smoke. So we had to move out immediately.Even we paid extra 24$ for 4th additional person at the time of checked in .We are not staying in this room .We moved out from hotel .I need refund for this booking
