We booked 5 nights but when we arrived, we realized the hotel was not located in a good area for walking around and shopping. We left after the first night. This was back in May and I STILL have not received my refund for the 4 nights despite bringing this to the hotels attention multiple times and getting no response.

Pound for £ , this has got to be one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. The room was voluminous The hotel has a large swimming pool. £41 a nigh including breakfast!

Booked Empress for my stay in chiang Mai, property was closed, was accommodated at Empress Premier, and my room type upgraded Check in was efficient, then handed a welcome package consisting of evian (1.5 ltr) fruit juice, nuts, cookies and chocolate. The team were friendly, the manager at the front desk remembers guest names and greets you by name. Breakfast buffet was good, with good coffee!!! Only down side is a bit of a walk to the main town area but plenty of tuks available, on the positive makes it a good quiet location for peaceful nights. Night Market 10 mins way by foot .

The service was EXCELLENT! The staff is very friendly and cozy. The only thing I didn’t like was that there were ants in our room. But I’m guessing that’s because we ate there. Me and my husband loved it and would definitely recommend to our friends.

Hotel was very nice and the upgrade we received was great. The only knock or issues I had was the Air Conditioner did not do well at night and the shampoo and soap was tiny little bottles. Not enough to wash one person much less two

Staff members entered my room here while I was gone with do not disturb sign on door took a bottle of alcohol from bar area and entered private space with all my belongings this is unexcusable unexceptionable and down right wrong to enter a guests room that has a do not disturb sign on the door take liquor from bar area I have been sober for going on 4 years Do not trust or stay at this place under any circumstances.

I love the Empress! I managed to extend my trip to 14 days and loved my stay! The tour advisors were amazing and helpful for everything including finding me a pharmacy that carried my allergy medicine. Thx pool is fantastic and all the staff are very helpful! The breakfast is large meeting all needs.

The hotel was great except for one major factor! The internet didn't work for several days, despite my reporting it nothing was done to repair it and when they did attempt to repair it, it still didn't work. Everything else was luxury in the hotel.

Excellent value with nice big rooms. Gym is underwhelming. 4 treadmills but only one that was in working condition. Breakfast was lacking a bit for me as it had few healthy options. I would have loved a granola option, with nuts, etc. I’m sure it would be fine for most people. The pool was very nice and the staff was excellent. For the price I think I got a good value despite a few shortcomings.
