Staff was great, kind, and helpful.
Location great, easy to walk to fun stuff. Easy parking in various locations near hotel bldg.
The spa in the hotel is fun!
Breakfast and hotel bar are nice too.
Very fair price for the amenities.

Nice hotel in a great location. Breakfast is nice, limited but to be expected. Staff are really nice. Only thing I would say what lets it down is the noise.
1, Road noise can hear it loads
2, The sky bar if there are events on.
Being on level 5 and boom boom going off doesnt really help my child to sleep.
2.5
Lovely stay and very close to bus stop 5 for tours and walking distance to many other bus stops with a lovely view of the ocean.

Phenomenal service, perfect location! The room was quiet, clean, and had a good view of the bay. The check-in and check-out process was seamless and the front desk staff were delightful and efficient. Bar on the 8th floor had great food and drinks as did the restaurant the next morning, and the staff there were very pleasant and accommodating. The cleaning staff were similarly professional. I would def stay here again!

Best thing about this hotel was the excellent location on the harbour front overlooking the sea and snowy mountains in the distance. I would definitely recommend upgrading to a sea view room. The staff were all really friendly and welcoming on arrival and very helpful throughout the stay. The only downside was the temperature of the room, even with the heating on it felt really quite cold. On the whole it was a lovely stay!

I will start with the down side because there is only one and that is the room is a little small. Now onto the positives. The view first off. Attached photo is from our room on the second floor. The Sky Bar is the best view in town. The bartender was fantastic and made incredibly complex and delicious cocktails. The Staff were the Best. I cannot say enough about how great the customer service was. Our flight came in from Hamilton Ontario and like most North American flights we got into Reykjavik early am. For 40 euros we were able to check in early at 7:30 and got breakfast in the Sky Bar to boot. It was wonderful. Location is great too. This hotel is in the center of all the action. Bars, restaurants, shopping, at tour starting points.

Spent two nights at this location and it was fantastic. Centrally located enough, most areas are a short walk. We opted for a sea view room and it did not disappoint!
All the staff were kind, courteous and helpful. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Bathroom area and shower are tiny with no water pressure. When I say tiny….the shower was 3 by 3 feet with a swinging glass door that didn’t even seal the shower. Pathetic.

We enjoyed the little hotel’s convenient location and ocean view.

Great downtown hotel, convenient, attentive staff front desk and housekeeping….
Parking limited but paid parking available and convenient.

This hotel was well situated at the waterfront in downtown Reykjavik with easy access to numerous excellent dining options, shopping options, and sights. Only a short walk to the whale watching excursions, pickup point for inland excursions, and bus to and from airport. Very nice people and fine hotel. The weather was good for here in September, cool, bring warm clothes

Convenient location. The room is small. Good customer service.

Our room was a box with windows, smallest we have ever had in 16 years of travel. No drawers for clothes
Way overpriced for what we got.

This was in the perfect location to the town for food & shopping, also bus stops right out the front. We loved the breakfast food and found the room lovely, the bed was comfortable. Room cleaned everyday. Staff were super friendly and very helpful with any questions we had. We will definitely return hopefully next year.

Friendly staff, easy check in.

The room was not large and closet was just a small bar out in the room for hangers, not really enough for 2 people, but view was excellent.
The bathroom was very small and we were confused by the large squeegee until we took a shower, where you could not put down a bath mat, as the curved\hinged shower door let all the shower water flood the entire bathroom by design, either out the large opening when shower door open to allow you to stand under the shower head, or flooding out under the shower door, depending on where you aimed the shower head.
It was just a unique space saving design, but having to squeegee the bathroom floor after each shower before putting bath mat down and to try to keep from slipping when done, was a unique experience 😄

Great location, in the center. Quiet neighbourhood. The staff is super friendly.

Close to everything and fair price.

Very convenient location right in the middle of everything. The roof top bar is great and they gave us two free drinks. The rooms are small and the shower is almost unusable it is so small. Parking is very difficult. Next time I would stay at a hotel that offered parking. We left early both mornings so we never tried the breakfast. The staff was courteous but we never had any special requests to test them.

This property has a Sky Lounge that is wonderful! Right on the water, yet 2 blocks from the main streets! The view of the water and mountain ranges cannot be beat! Very friendly staff on all levels. Loved our stay and highly recommend this hotel!

Quaint little place within eyeshot of the port. Lots of places nearby to eat and shop including a complimentary breakfast on the top floor. Beautiful view.

Our home for eight nights, we needed the hotel to be just right and it absolutely was. A perfect location across from Harpa and in close proximity to tons of amenities. We upgraded to the Sea View rooms and were so glad we did. The weather is constantly changing and you have a front row view to all the conditions, harbor traffic and people on the bike paths and sightseeing at Harpa. Bus stop 5 is across the street and Bus stop 6 is atop a small hill. Super convenient to everywhere we wanted to go. It’s a small hotel, but the staff is friendly and cheerfully helpful with requests large and small. Free coffee, juice and croissants are set in the early mornings to help guests making early departures face the journey. The small lobby is frequently bustling with people, but it all contributes to the sense of being downtown.
Susan- The spa was amazing. Just 20 krona for the entire time you are at the hotel. Showers in spa are much bigger than a room shower. Sky Bar: The view was incredible. Nice variety of drink choices and Happy Hour.

Great location. Easy walk to the water or downtown. Sky Bar is a great place to have a drink. Parking is sketchy but that’s true with most places in this city.

Liked ocean view. Breakfast was overpriced

The Icelandic definiotion of the word "superior" does not corelate with the dictionary or the common understanding. The room was vorn down and lousy. The staff was from everywhere else than Iceland and your energy does not cost a lot either. So I have a hard time understanding the reason for the price, other than greed.
3.0
The staff was outstanding. From housekeeping to restaurant staff and most of all the front desk staff who went out of their way to help me with all of my inquiries. The room was very comfortable. The only negative is that the walls are paper thin. I could hear everything in the hall and in the rooms next door. Saying that, I would most likely stay here again.

The room was nice but small.

Very good hotel for Icelandic standard. Fantastic view from breakfast room at 8th floor.
Breakfast is somewhat basic, not as diversified as Scandinavian ones.

Close to Harpa Bus Stop 5. As an FYI to cruise passengers, when we were there in August there was a free bus between Bus Stop 5 and the cruise ship. Very convenient on embarkation day!
1.5
It is the smallest hotel room , I have ever stayed.
They would not let us check in early.
We had to wait for hours.
