First time in Tallinn and had heard good things about the Nordic Forum and rightly so, what a great find. Great location right next to the old town, a good looking and modern hotel.
Breakfast was great, the room a good size and comfortable and the whole place had a very modern feel.
Other than the helpful lady who checked us in and out, the staff aren’t the friendliest but aren’t unpleasant.
If I returned to Tallinn I wouldn’t look anywhere else assuming the price remained reasonable

Really good hotel close to the centre with good spa facilities. Would recommend staying here

We have stayed at the Nordic Forum hotel on several earlier trips to Tallinn, and here we were again. The main reason for this is the ideal location, close to the Old Town and the Estonia theatre and concert hall. Our main purpose in coming to Tallinn are the manifold performances of classical and ancient music one can find, and for that purpose the Nordic Forum is excellent. Also, the distance to the ferry harbour is short and walkable. The hotel is totally ok in every respect (condition, cleanliness, service etc) and the breakfast is great. For a person with coeliac disease, as I am, the choice of bread and sweet cake on the gluten free table is rather limited, especially in comparison to the "normal" table. A microwave oven might help to make the GF bread taste better, it mostly does. Also, good to notice that the G sign here means that the food contains gluten, as the case is the other way round in Finland, for instance.

A nice hotel situated in the city centre. Enjoyed the spa but the pool needs cleaning. Breakfast buffet was good!

All-around excellent! Not one single con that i can think of, and probably one of the best hotels that i have stayed at. Bathroom had huge tub and separate toilet, plus a mirror that had automatic night light that would go on when you entered in the night. High-end Elemis toiletries. Two types of pillows (hard, soft), amazing bedding and mattress. Breakfast was bountiful and yummy. Walking distance to Rotermann shopping and old town, supermarket, restaurants, mall, trams and buses across rhe street. Gym was great and although i did not get to use the pool, i saw several people visit. Hope to come back someday!

The hotel is in a very good location, about 10 minutes walking distance to old town. Excellent breakfast, with several vegetarian/vegan options, but the menu is the same every day.
They send a link to check in online even before you arrive and the room is allocated right then. The room can also be opened and you can also check out using the same link. This makes the process very convenient.
The only issue I had was that the AC is centrally controlled and I could not change the room temperature to my desire.

The hotel is kept clean and customer service was great. I requested a late check out and was told I had to do it during breakfast hours. Wish I could have done it the night prior just for peace of mind. They did let me do the late check out. Location was good as well.

My wife and I stayed at the Nordic Hotel Forum (Suite) for two nights in June 2024. The hotel is in a great location, close to the old town and a couple of shopping malls. The room was very large, modern, clean and well equipped with everything you could need. The breakfast was also wonderful, with many, many choices. We did have an issue with noise in the room (trams that sounded like aircraft landing, cars and partygoers) so we didn’t get much sleep the first night. I wish Hotels.com would add a category called ‘Sleep quality’ or something, so we could rate that separately. I asked at reception if we could move to another room for the second night, but they said that they were fully booked. In addition, all the suites face the street, so bear this in mind. The second night (Sunday night) was not so bad, and we did manage to sleep well in the huge and comfortable bed. The hotel personnel, with a couple of exceptions, were not very welcoming (especially the men at reception – no women). Perhaps it was because there were so many people staying at the hotel; it was really crowded as we saw at breakfast. We stayed the following night in a hotel in Tartu and the difference in the warm welcome from everyone there (all women) was stark. Anyway, the hotel is very functional and modern, and we would stay there again, but make sure our room faced the courtyard.

Coffee wasn’t the best and wait staff had some challenges when we were dining at the hotel.

Well located beside old city and modern cafe areas on two directions. Situated however on a noisy streetcar-bus-traffic street so rooms on back side better

Overall, the experience was fine. However, we did not have a proper old city view which we paid for. We did not get a room upgrade. The hallways were very very dark because the lights were off.

Excellent breakfast, high quality room, extremely clean and safe, perfectly located on the edge of the UNESCO World Heritage old town - which has sights as well as top-notch restaurants - and a short walk from the malls.

Super hot room. A/C not working. Staff incredibly rude. We tried on multiple occasions to get help and were treated poorly. Not sure if complete rudeness was us being two men but would seriously discourage LGBTQ folks from this establishment. Not welcoming at all
