Pictures are old, facility is run down. Tiny rooms and bathroom, thin walls, I heard the person next door fart. Not worth the price at all.

Exactly what we needed, driving from Lancashire, before we went to the airport in the morning. The pub and restaurant are great too, particularly the selection and reasonable prices.

The location worked well but the property was extremely noisy late into the night. We had to be on our way at 3am, guests were arriving up until 2am and our room was immediately next to check-in. The floors are all wooden so every footstep felt like it was inside our room. A shame because the location was great and the staff were friendly.

Fairly basic accommodation. Beds not very comfortable. The biggest problem was that there was no Breakfast facility. This wasn't made clear on the booking. The hotel is in a remote village - so no other means of getting a breakfast other than to drive into Luton.

Cant complain about this place but I have a few suggestions for the owner:
- halogen (ceiling) direct light is not good for our eyes and are too bright (one halogen failed to work)
- night lamp would be helpful and at least one chair in the room
- automatic light in the bathroom is a good idea but not if we are forced (no nightlamp) to use it as a nightlight :)
- waiting for hot water (tap) is quite annoying - 3 min? come on...
- yes, cups should be clean not dirty!
Apart from the above minors hotel location is good, green and quiet. But avoid the rooms above the restaurant if youre an early sleeper. Parking is big and free. Price reflect the quality.

Clean, full of character room, friendly staff, reasonably priced and tasty meal in the pub. They don't do breakfast but the staff recommended a café in Luton that was only a mile and a half away that was very good. Would use again if I needed a hotel in Luton.

Would have preferred a double bed and room could do with a full length mirror but very good apart from that

The King William is a convenient place to stay close to Luton Airport. If you are like us and enjoy staying in smaller hotels this is perfect. We chose a room with single beds that were more on the “campy” style. Other than that it was great! Next time we’ll get a double bed room. Nice staff who even arranged our 4am cabbie to the airport.
The real fun in the King William is the pub. Excellent food, drinks, atmosphere, staff, and clientele. The village green is a nice walk and there is a walking path close to see some beautiful countryside. All in all a great stay!

Hard to reach, via tiny country lanes. Breakfast starts at nine a.m. (on week-ends), rather unusual for an airport hotel. Otherwise, all in keeping with star rating/pricing

Room, meal, parking all great - superb stay for third time.
Would definitely return.

Great little find for us to stay whilst attending a wedding nearby. The lady on reception was extremely friendly and we managed to get checked in early. Only downsides were the beds were a little uncomfortable and it sounded like it was karaoke night when we arrived back around 11pm so was quite loud (not an issue, we knew it might be since it’s attached to a pub). Breakfast the next morning was also more than we expected. So pleased we decided to stay here though, rather than a chain near Luton airport.

Clean and pleasant room. No request was too much trouble. Better duvets - I was quite cold and the duvet hardly covered the bed.

Nice modern decor in a traditional English pub. Set in a quiet residential area so not much alternatives for dining except the pub itself but fortunately our meal was great! Friendly staff. Breakfast hot food was a little lacklustre with not great eggs but otherwise pretty standard.

First appearances of the hotel were okay, but as soon as you entered the building the smell of stale cooking oil was overpowering. Food in the pub was terrible, poor quality and not cheap. Room was tiny, just enough room for a double bed and bathroom. Room cleanliness was questionable, brown towels also smelled as though they had not aired properly so had a stale smell which was not pleasant.Staff, however were friendly enough and helpful, and the room cost was good value for money when comparing other hotels in the area.

An unique experience of real rural English life - relaxed, friendly, comfortable (and probably fattening.) Great fulfillment of my wish to see real English people and customs.

If you don't require frills, then I can recommend this old country pub. Friendly staff. Basic continental breakfast. Car (or bike) essential.
