This hotel is average. Definitely not worth the price but I was in a bind after car trouble during college move-in. I have stayed in much nicer hotels at a lower price. I was supposedly getting a “last minute deal” too. The breakfast was again far below what is provided in previously mentioned nicer hotels at less price. We had the option of cereal, granola bars, Otis spunkmyer muffins, and a piece of fruit with orange juice or coffee. The room itself lacked a dresser and there was garbage under the fridge. The fan and AC was extremely loud. And the blinds did not keep out the sun. The best part was the “cool looking” floors.

The bed was clean. The furnishings are in poor shape. Expensive for the quality of the building.

Staff was not available they leave a number upfront. Rooms are in bad shape furniture scratched and discolored. No hygiene products available. Breakfast was awful dry items and the container came out dirty.

Just wasn’t what I expected. Bathroom was small. No elevator

Only stayed one night. Passing through on our way home

Room was very clean but the bathtub and toilet sink wasn’t draining well at all. Took a shower and the water level came up mid calf due to poor drainage. Bed was comfortable and AC unit worked well. 2nd floor was quiet, breakfast was minimal and okay.

Has the potential to be a great hotel. The cleaning in the bathroom needs some improvement.

It was an absolutely horrible experience I would never recommend this hotel to my worst enemy

Guys in front desk were so kind and helpful. Nice hotel, and clean and safe .

The property was clean and the staff was super friendly and helpful. We felt very welcome. I loved all of the fresh fruit available downstairs. The rooms were very effiecnt and the makeup mirror was perfect. The only downside here was the lack of an elevator, but the hotel wa only 2 stories, so the stairs weren't much of a problem. Thanks for a great stay!

We just got bed bugs from this hotel.
I wasn’t even going to leave a review despite a terrible night, but after I found we had bites it motivated me to notify others. Also this place looks way better in pictures than in real life. So don’t let them make you feel like you’re getting a great deal, it’s a cheap motel. The main reason however that we had a terrible night was because of a man screaming all night in a room next door and no luck with getting the front desk to get him to calm down. He must have smoked meth or something and was having a bdsm session from 11pm -5am. It was jarring. Called the front desk, they said they would go check, and if he wouldn’t stop they would make him leave the property. Guess what, nothing such happened, he kept being screaming and cursing for hours. Eventually my husband gave me his ear plugs so I could sleep, but then he couldn’t sleep. I wish I had never gone there… the bed bugs were just a cherry on top. We really hope we didn’t bring it home. Cleaning and drying all the possible things they might have caught a ride on.

Clean quiet rooms. A little bit small, beds are on metal frames so they squeak. Toilet and shower are in a very small space, sink is located outside of toilet area in bedroom.

Very nice staff and clean. The floors are a concrete material that don’t absorb sound very well, and I could hear conversations in the next room very clearly. Stayed there twice, and the second time I didn’t have neighbors and it was great.

King bed frame was noisy, surfaces were sticky, tv didn't work, everything was worn out and dirty looking.
4.0
It is conveniently located in the Rochester area. Staff was very friendly, and fruit, coffee, tea etc. available 24/7.
We found the surfaces of the desk and nightstand to be sticky. It must be the cleaning solution is too strong, and is dissolving the finishes.

The place is clean and neat. That’s it. Breakfast is minimal. Cofeee station not enough to support guest. Rooms basic. No coffee pot. The desk is unattended and we were locked out because our keys did not work.

Not staff around the clock over price, breakfast not that good basically fruits

If you want to stay in a hotel that feels like a nursing home this is the place for you. If you want breakfast your choices are cereal oatmeal or a prepackaged danish. Not exactly what most people would consider a breakfast.

My husband and I booked this property via Expedia app last minute. I wish I had done more homework — the hotel was “fine” for our need (a bed at 9pm at night), but the bed was on a metal frame that made noise every time we moved - it was very annoying. Otherwise it was “fine” but not a chain I’ll stay in again.

Rooms were not updated. When we tried to get linen to shower with there was no staff there. We called the number on the sign that was left to get help but no one answered. We still did not see a worker 3 hours later after we constantly went down to check!!!!!

The hotel is modern but rather “bare bones.” Similar “economy” hotel chains, such as Hampton (Hilton) or Staybridge (IHG) offer more comfort for similar cost. The shower would not maintain a constant temperature, swinging wildly from cold to too hot. The TV was connected to only Pluto TV, a subscription service, and was very confusing to operate. Worst of all was the “complementary breakfast,” which consisted of only one variety of cold cereal, a few pre-wrapped sticky pastries, and a coffee machine that dispensed either French vanilla coffee or hot chocolate, but nothing else.

Nice place but toilet was really dirty. Rest of room was spotless. From desk was very pleasant and able to give us an early check in. Nicely decorated with interesting touches. Would definitely stay here again or at other Clarion Pointe hotels.

Walls paper thin, bathroom extremely small, tv only works if you have subscription to something, pillows half size, bed like dorm back in college, the continental breakfast they offer is an insult.

The hotel staff was friendly and the room was mostly fine. I liked the huge accent wall with beautiful scenery, which made the room feel pleasant. My mother liked the polished concrete floors. The huge window was very helpful for not feeling cramped in the room.
I gave 2 stars mostly because the toilet overflowed in our room shortly after arrival, leaving toilet water all over the bathroom floor. I expected maintenance to come immediately to plunge the toilet and mop up the floor, but the front desk guy didn't know what to do and called the owner. He said they usually would have given us another room, but because it was eclipse weekend they were sold out. We left to get food and when we came back the front desk guy said he plunged the toilet and used rugs to pick up the water...so there might still be a bit of water on the floor. Obviously, there wasn't a maintenance person to be found to handle issues even though it was about 4pm, right around check in time. The water was mostly cleaned up so we just dealt with it, assuming maintenance would come at some point to mop. The next morning, a different person at front desk already knew about the issue and asserted that they would take care of it, but no one ever came to mop the floor. It was upsetting that they had the audacity to charge about $450 for that room and couldn't push themselves to ensure what I thought was a basic cleanup job.

Clean and swift check in

The check in staff was very friendly and personable the first night - 2/12 and the afternoon housekeeper was very kind 2/13. However the morning staff never spoke or were not even at the desk to ask questions and the night desk clerk never spoke in the 4 nights I was there. Traveling alone, I did not feel safe when no one was at the desks at night when I came in late.

Furniture in rooms were pretty beat up also no ice machine if that's accessible other than going into the kitchen I think for the price of the stay it should have been in a lot better condition for the price of the state needs to be lowered

The room door, bed, shower and pipes in wall are very loud. The bed has a spring box spring and creaks with every move. Also the sheets, blankets and towels are like sand paper( good if you need to exfoliate). The fixtures are poor, old and worn. The room door doesn’t close with out slamming, it’s very loud if you have someone still in bed.
The free fruit is nice and plentiful

Quiet and peaceful hotel

Hot water was hot… NO cold water. Got burned in the shower trying to finish my shower. Hallway was super loud at night. Shade let light in from the street. Heat took forever to heat up the room. Overall pretty bad experience given the price tag with superior options around. Won’t be staying again.

I chose pay at the property and they charged me the day of, and now I have to wait to get my money back. Then on top of that they said $300 dollars on top of what they charged me in order to keep the room, so I had them reverse it and if I don’t see my money by Monday y'all will be seeing me in person. Very unprofessional. Don’t even have a pool

For the price not a bad experience. Friendly staff, safe , well lit. The con the room needed minor repairs. I liked the epoxy resin floor in not a fan of carpets in hotel rooms i feel it's more sanitary

Sheets had holes in them, all the bedding looked like it was rolled up in a ball right before they put it in bed. I don’t know if they have housekeeping when we came back the bed wasn’t made and we did not get new towels, no we did t leave anything in the door saying so no disturb. When I went downstairs to advise him that no one came into the room to care clean or give fresh towels. He looked at me and said I’ll bring some towels up later. He did come up to the room with 3 bath towels later in the night. We would never stay there again
