The property was in a great location and our room had 2 views 1 of the castle and the other had lovely views. The room was a little tired but very practical. Our room no. Was 237. We had a bus stop right outside so it was cheap to get around and go to the lake. Breakfast was good and staff very helpful. Swimming pool area a bit tired.

The only negatives I have for this property are that the hot water went away very quickly, there was no stopper for the bathtub, and the automatic lights were hard to turn on in the morning out in the hallway. It’s walkable distance to cite de carcassonne, but it is on the far end of town, pretty far away from the train station. It took me about 45 minutes in the rain.

Great place near the old city. Room was huge, as was the bathroom. It’s not fancy but it was functional and clean. The pool was great for the kids. Didn’t use the kitchenette facilities as we were only there 1 night but they would’ve been handy for a longer stay.

Very clean room and very attentive service. Good location. Overpriced breakfast, and hotel itself is very basic (3 stars is overstated rating), but hey, thus the price. You get what you pay for.

Upgraded - thank you so much. Loved the room and nice view. Enjoyed the pool too. Everything was CLEAN! Busline 2 stop is in front of the hotel. 6-7mins walk to the fortress. Aldi, Lidl, McDo is nearby too.

Very convenient for Citi. Easy walk. Plenty of parking. We had suite with plenty’s of space. No toiletries though so bring your own. Lack of mirrors for the ladies. Otherwise good.

Overall, a fine stay. Not exceptional l, not bad. And the hotel itself is a little outdated. The rooms were clean, but just outdated. The overall facility was decent, not well manicured. The best thing about this place is your less than a 10 minute walk from the medieval city, which is a must see.

Great location to the fortified city. Overall it was a nice stay, but there was little to no soap and toilet paper, pool didn’t have any towels, and you had to take out your own trash and leave it at the edge of the property. Everything was clean but felt a little rundown. Breakfast was additional but very good. Laundry facilities on site but were 8 euros per load.

The apartment was a great safe place where we could stay with our dogs and explore Carcassonne and the surrounding areas. The dogs felt relaxed and at home and we felt safe leaving them for short periods on their own when taking them along was not suitable.The old citadel was only a short walk away and there was ample parking.Access to the town and the motorways was a single road so very easy to travel and explore.Much better than staying at a hotel, yet with all the convenience of staying at a hotel.

The reception staff were very helpful in arranging a trip to the vet for our dog. Much appreciated. OK breakfast. Great location for the castle, bit of a walk to the old town. Reception closes at 8pm. Apartment was not cared for. Very basic, not enough crockery/cutlery provided. Could have been cleaner. We wonder if we were put in the poorer quality block because we have a small dog. Outside patio area and furniture was dirty. Dining chair covers marked and in need of a wash. What made it worse was that we were issued instructions upon arrival about cleaning the place before we left, removing all of our rubbish from the bins and warning the reception if we were leaving our dog in the room in case the cleaner was going in! There was no cleaner!! Toilet area didn’t smell clean either ☹️

Disappoint as the rentsal to sleep four people wasn't the same as advertised. In the photo it showed one double and two single beds. We got one double and a sofa bed. There was also minimal sheets for the sofa bed. And one of the sheets was covered in what looked to be dog hair. On the upside it was quite, ample parking and clean. But I wouldn't pick it again.

We took the family room, it comes with a balcony. The balcony floor was extremely dirty. The chairs and table on the balcony seems like never cleaned with detergent. The clothes hanger was so dirty you could not hand your wet clothes or towel. The bathroom cabinets where all work and edges beginning to rotten. One air conditioning for a 2 bedroom and living room. When we put the A/C on dust came out the vents. I do. Or recommend this property and will be claiming Hotels.com for a refund.

It was spacious comfy and clean and we thought excellent value. The reception staff member was lovely, obliging and helpful and gave us excellent advice on what to do in the area and also a terrific dinner recommendation.

Cerise is very basic, rooms are clean and spacious, there is plenty of parking space and the place is just 5 minutes walk from La Citadele. Front desk staff is amicable & helpful. However the room wasn’t carefully attended and shampoo and body wash were empty. We don’t recommend going for their breakfast either: fruit was frozen, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages are served in an proportionally small recipient and wasn’t refilled properly since 9:30 AM (although it was supposed to finish at 10:30).
