The hotel staff is caring. I was sick in the morning and I requested for extra time to take a rest in my room. They are very helpful and even asked whether I need any further assistance. I will definitely be back. However, the gym room and swimming pool are quite crowded. The room facilities are clean and comfy. Bear in mind that you need to ask for toothbrushes (when required).

Good hotel. Good service. Breakfast was a bit boring, nothing special or fascinating. Room TV can do screen casting and provide a charging port for USB charging at the bedside which is something basic in the current high-tech world but I rarely see it in old hotels so I am pleased that Shangri-La thought of this. There's a Starbuck just across the hotel too.

Given the price and brand, we felt so disappointed about the hotel room. Hotel is dated and hotel room is in a strange shape, not square, rectangle or diamond. The room was cut in a shape whenever there’s a bit of a corner. The TV is placed alongside with the bed. So you’d have to turn your head to the right all the time to watch TV. I would not choose to come back.

Excellent location. Exit 10 of the Futian High Speed Rail (HSR) station takes you right to Shangri-la. 2 metro stops are also within walking distance, connected underground to the HSR station. Lots of restaurants, lots of shopping right around the corner. Very easy to access the rest of SZ.

Loved the room, esp the bed!! I wanted to know if I could purchase the mattress. We had breakfast at the cafe, Shang Gourmet. Yogurt, pastries and coffee were great, the fruit cup was so-so. Every single experience was amazing except for one: On our way out after checking out, I used the restroom on the ground floor right near the concierge desk. Somebody had JUST smoked a cigarette inside the toilet booth!! I had to breathe in the nicotine-filled air before running out of the restroom.
