It was a nice place to stay, it was clean and quiet and the lady who was working the night shift was absolutely kind and patient. She was awesome!

Front desk was kind and helpful, good stay!

Meh. Old, dilapidated motel. Remote didn't work. No shampoo. Minimal shower water pressure. Elevators apparently turned off overnight as stairs were required for early morning departure. Very, very basic accommodation in a good downtown location. Easy parking. Staff was friendly.

Someone had used the parking garage as a toilet...

When we arrived in our room we found multiple large bug carcasses dead through the room. Maybe they bombed and forgot to cleanup. There was also a smell of urine in the room, pulled back the sheets and there was a large yellow stain on the mattress cover. Looks like they cleaned the sheets but didn’t clean the mattress cover after someone soiled themselves. We booked for two nights but checked out after the first night. The guy at the front desk was nice enough and said he’d process a refund for the 2nd night. Good Central location and potential in the property but a emphasis on cleaning would go a long way.

It was a nice older hotel with upgrades but they need to mop the floors in the room after each guest.

I have never been more annoyed….they lock the front desk at night and lock the elevator on the ground floor. No one told us this so at 5am when we were trying to check out we were having to carry bags down 5 flights of stairs!!!

Although an older hotel…it was Clean, cold AC and plenty of hot water. Slept well and had covered parking in the middle of the storm. Good to have full sized fridge and large freezer to keep our foods from the trip cool.

Pleasantly surprised with the room. Spacious, clean, full size refrigerator was great. Even had a toaster.

We stopped to rest on our way to Shreveport. I was skeptical but the reviews looked acceptable. Owner was extremely nice and was willing to show me a room prior to check-in. The building is old but some renovations had been made such as carpet removal. As we walked through the breezeway, there was a strong smell of marijuana. The room was clean and appeared to be okay. However, after checking in, we left to go get food and returned at dusk. Upon returning, the air conditioning had been turned on and the smell of marijuana was more apparent. After spraying EVERYTHING, including the bed and pillows with Lysol and cleaning the bathroom with Clorox, the smell was temporarily masked. After waking up around 1 a.m. sneezing and coughing, the odor had returned. I sprayed again and was able to dose back off only to wake up a few hour later overpowered by the smell which had to be in the furniture. We decided to just leave!

This is the most improved hotel in Vicksburg..Motel 6 spent 44 renovating the hotel in a standard Studio series. With hardwood floors and a kitchen sink in room, It has become a good place if you need an extended stay while working in Vicksburg..with Corp, Port or ERDC,,Waterways..

Upon arrival I was definitely skeptical but the staff was sweet and helpfu. The room itself made up for the surroundings and you can tell there’s actual care into the hotel

Parking sign warns people the hotel is not responsible for their vehicles. The area is rundown. Cockroaches in the room. Will never stay at another Studio 6

Very comfortable and clean for price

The room is very spacious and equipped with a big fridge, microwave, coffee maker, ironing board, and TV. The bathroom has clean towels, hairdryer and soap. The shower however is not strong. The bed is big and comfortable. The floor is a bit sticky and makes the bottom of your feet black. Some guest can be noisy, or not sure if they are monthly rentals. The view is nice from the 5th floor. I will stay again if i am in Vicksburg.

By virtue of it's location to historic downtown, I was expecting at least a modicum of hospitality. The facilities seemed recently remodeled upon arrival. However once you get to the room, it soon becomes evident that cleanliness wasn't a priority. The bathroom was terrible. The linen threadbare, not to mention no face towels. All of this I would've overlooked, but once I realized that the room was a bedbug den, I was absolutely over it. The staff is also rude. I wouldn't recommend my ex wife stay there

I stayed for a last min stop for the night. When I got there the doors were locked, and there was a button to press to get the clerk to check you in. I had to ring it twice and waited a good 10 mins before a lady popped out from looked like her bedroom and she was in pjs? She was extremely rude, and half asleep the whole check in. Then when I got into my room I didn’t know smoking was even allowed still in rooms and it smelled HORRIBLE. The fridge leaked water all over the floors, and the beds had hair everywhere. Then around 3 AM there was a couple right next to my room and they were yelling and sounds like threats being made to eachother. Thankfully I was out of there at 5 AM cause I could not handle being there. Definitely will not be going back at all.

The property felt safe and the people were friendly. The room was clean, and the towels and sheets smelled fresh. The steps are a little steep, so use the elevator. Also, I was a bit surprised by the Sunday morning church bells. Church is across the street but overall was a good experience.

I was surprised by how nice the rooms were for the price. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. I’d have to say that my only gripe was that they shut the elevator down at 1am. We were there for a multi day family reunion and several of the events lasted past 1am. It was difficult trying to get my father in law up 4 flights of stairs when we got in since he’s older and has service connected injuries that make stairs extremely difficult. Other than that, I enjoyed the place.

The corridors and staircases were very dirty. But unfortunately for the owners anybody can easily come in.

I booked this room here and paid as well then my husband went in to check in and they charged him again . Now we have paid twice and our stay wasn't pleasant. The reservation was in Jermine Mcrunells on March 28 at studio 6 in Vicksburg Ms.

Location is great being that it is downtown and near Key City and 10 South. Room was ok for cleaning up and sleeping. Would not want to be stuck in the room for any length of time. Parking and stairwells were a little shady but we did not have any issues. Well, except for the one night when someone was trying to get into our room. I think they just forgot which room they were staying in.

The staff was great! However i did not feel my car was safe. With all the theftss of catalytic converters, stc. There was not a lot of guest. And all the signs about not being responsible, it made me feel uncomfortable for my car. Which i lease. So i packed up and left about 5:00pm. Drove to Monroe LA. Took a room there for the night
