Came for bday trip to NYC. This was very convenient to the city. Nothing fancy, but it was nice to lay out heads. Everything was very clean.

Wrong with cleaning up, but there were four cockroaches in the room when I woke up. I booked two days, but only stayed one and I’m having trouble canceling the second day as agreed by the hotel property.

It was so bad that she didn't even have shoes on the carpet

The room was not clean, and the service was poor. We requested cleaning in the morning, and the staff initially said they would take care of it right away. However, when we asked for a few more minutes to finish getting ready, they told us we had only five minutes, but then immediately insisted we leave. We went out for breakfast and returned an hour later, only to find that the room was still dirty. When we asked why it hadn’t been cleaned, the staff returned to clean the room but seemed irritated.

Worst experience ever because ther photos are not even close to what is supposed be

Was not expecting the room to look like it belong in the middle of the ghetto. The beds was alright. Unfortunately the room had roaches and spiders and smelt funny like mildew

I stayed for three days, the TV didn't work, I said so on the second day and they never fixed it on the second day or the third, for that kind of money everything should work, it's expensive for such conditions, the location of the hotel is good, but nothing more, the breakfast is poor

Not too bad

My stay was not so great due to the noise in the next door rooms. Let’s just say that the walls were too thin and from one room I could hear a couple making love and from the other side a drunk party. I would not recommend for families to stay here.

Was what I needed for an overnight after a long trip and before heading in to NYC.

Shut this place down / NJ Board of Health- where are you? Cockroach infested/ filthy / horrible smell/ the door was kicked in and didn’t shut properly
Photo showed hot tub in room- ofc there was NOT one- there was literally something floating in the toilet- immediately asked for a refund and was told to email the company- had to drive to CT to find a clean room in the middle of the night

Total dump.with belligerent staff. Price.was too high to be treated llike that. Couldnt understand the infoan clerk. But it was obviously.our fault. Room.was.a.dump bed should.have been replacedmin 178p. Door was.paperthin and signs that it had been kicked.in 100.times. 2 tiny well.usex towels.and.no.soap and one miniscule.shampoo enhanced.the skid row prison vibe. This dump.should be torn down for the betterment of the neighborhood

You get what you paid for. Hard to complain about a stay when it was so cheap but do be prepared for an overwhelming smell of smoke. Even if you aren’t in a smoking room, it lingers around the whole building.

Staff was nice and friendly. However, location didn’t look as advertised- even the non-smoking rooms smelled like smoke. Breaksfast was decent. Just lower expectations- good price for being so close to NY, but you get what you paid for.

the room was clean, but did not match the description or the pictures used for booking. the TV remote did not work, at all. i told the front desk, they assured me someone would be along to fix the problem. no one ever turned up.
in the middle of the night, i almost slipped in the bathroom, because there was a leak from the ceiling onto the floor.

It was the worst experience I had in my life roaches everywhere, a dirty holes in the wall no window to open roaches in the bed. I’m having nightmares about roaches and rats. I think I need therapy. I had to change rooms two times still help. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had in my entire life. I will never go back into a hotel Again Roaches in the curtain in the air conditioner, I think I’m gonna need therapy therapy I hope I don’t have any more nightmares to me about roaches last night. I was having a nightmare that was the worst day ever.

The hotel had a weird smell. Our room looked clean but my sheets clearly weren’t changed and there were crumbs of some sort on the toilet. The bathroom sink was horribly cracked and taped up. The bathroom door didn’t close at all, almost like it was too big for the casement. Not an awesome experience.

Very old and humid. One don't need to smoke weed to get high but the rooms and corridors are enough already. Not recommended for families with kids.

Our room had a lot of flies and bugs. Also, the room has a strong bad smell. Which never go from our room.
Everyday , we had to ask for supplies and cleaning.

The front stairs are slanted down so us the rails or you may end up falling backwards. Especially dangerous for people with balance instability.
This is a very old building. But the staff keeps everything very clean and tidy. Love the staff. Breakfast is cereal, muffins or bagel, coffee or tang. So it is provided but a very very carb heavy options.
The building gets hot and humid but the AC in the rooms is great. I cannot tell you enough how well our AC worked and it was a very hot and humid weekend.
