On Sep 12th, at around 11:30 AM, In the outdoor swimming pool, my son saw a snake in the pool, very scary for my son, also no any staff working around swimming pool. Very scary memories for my son, he said he couldn't want to swimming again.

The Yoga room which was the ballroom had cookie crumbs and dead flies on the carpet.
The water was either constantly hot or cold
Service was amazing though

Everything about our stay was phenomenal. The hotel, pools, beach were all amazing and the staff was totally welcoming and accommodating for our family, including a 2 yr old and a 5 mth baby. Ebin was the sweetest in the restaurant, making our omelettes each morning and helping out my 2 yr old with picking her own items, what a treat! Thank you to everyone for the white glove experience! We will most definitely be back! đ

Very clean, great amenities and location, on a beautiful beach

This property and grounds were amazing. The staff was so welcoming and warm and we were pampered throughout our stay. The rooms were comfortable and quite spacious. The dining in Teca was really spectacular. We all had different dishes and they all surpassed our expectations. The pools, hot tubs and grounds were beautiful and well kept. They have so many activities that are included and make your stay so memorable. Thank you!

Wonderful resort property! Worth the $â

Next to marina for ease of boat rental

3 days and no hot water for a shower. Absolutely unacceptable for a hotel of such supposedly high class. $ 50 discount is nowhere near acceptable

The location , grounds and views from this property are outstanding. The rooms are a little dated but the friendliness of the staff , the wide range of activities and the spectacular location , gardens and views over the lake far make up for it.

We had a great stay. The location and scenery is fantastic. The staff was super friendly and courteous.

Decor inappropriate mismatch of design⌠aged rooms⌠mediocre meals⌠Upper pool area actually ugly and dated.
The hotel felt deserted in certain areas and worn out and unattractive in all areas.

Staff was extremely friendly and courteous. Room was spotless and very comfortable. Plenty of options for food and beverages. Will definitely come again.

Food needs a major update! I got terrible food poisoning or something that make me vomit from 12-4am! I had the lentil salad from Lakes restaurant. It has taken me the better part of two days to recover. Also the hamburgers were burnt and the food took over 45 minutes to come! We are frequent visitors but will bring our own food next visit. Very disappointing for such a lovely resort.

Sadly overall this hotel was an underwhelming experience. From check in to check out we experienced issues. It was my husbands 50th birthday and we were five in our family. To start they could not find our reservation with Expedia and said, âit has not arrived to us yetâ My comment was âI booked July 13th and did the online checkin.â We went to eat something and waited 45 minutes - they still didnât find it but they checked us in anyway. Our room had 3 towels and no bedding for the second bed. Considering we were obviously 5 people and paying $1000 a night seems like a very illogical oversight. The next day we ate the buffet for breakfast, the food was cold. We ate in the same restaurant for dinner and the buffet was cold again with flies all over it. When we talked to the manager about it, we received a lame excuse that there are a lot of children at the resort so they don't cover the food. The coffee was also cold anywhere we got coffee on the resort. The burger on the menu is the best option for food for sure. The prices are steep and the quality lacking. The public washrooms were filthy, there were towels all over the place but good luck finding them at the pool. The staff is friendly and attentive but overall the property seems like no real hotel management leadership. At the end of our stay we could not wait to leave and the icing on the cake I was overcharged by $3000 on my bill that I know have to deal with.

I have been here multiple times and enjoyed it 6-7 years in a row. My friends and I paid a huge bill for the steak house it was mediocre at best. The lifeguards by the lake were awful not in duty for the play area. The service was average cafe closes early nowhere to get coffee. 60 dollars for two glasses of wine at the bar. It was okay this time not more.

Fabulous luxury resort sitting high above Lake Rousseau with all amenities at your fingertips including golf, swimming, boating, dining and great vistas.

All in all we had a good time .not much to do outside of the resort so be prepared to stay on the premises for your entire stay. Food is pretty expensive so bring lots of snacks. Staff are nice and the spa is great too, the pool at the Spa area needs some TLC, the paint is coming off and got on my hands and swim suit, lots of missing tiles also.

First of all, the property is stunning and absoloutly amazing. The views from all over are truly breathtaking. The property alone is enough motivation to return.
A couple things to keep in mind though..
Stairs. Lots of stairs. A million stairs.. walking the property and getting down to the beach is a work out. Not easy to get up and down quickly, so plan a head.
Housekeeping should be better at this pricepoint. Rooms equipped with kitchens.. but not cleaned thoroughly. If people are eating in the room.. you need to vacuum. Crumbs will happen and they are obvious evidence the cleaning was not thorough.
Pools dont have food or drink service. You can bring your own snacks.. but would be nice to be able to have a drink by/in the pool, or a bar nearby.
No gift shop.. just a very small coffee shop with toiletries and snacks for sale, open for limited hours.
Service is not bad necessarily, but it is not impressive either. At this price point and quality of property.. you would expect staff going the extra mile to cater to the guests.
Overall, the stay was wonderful and we will be back. Travelled with children and we did not get to do every activity - not enough time and the pool seemed to be the main highlight.

It is a nice property but expensive. There is some confusion in front desk for check-in.

Rented two rooms.
One had a failed AC unit and water leak and the other was a wheelchair accessible room and did not have a proper shower.
We had to wait a couple of hours for new rooms.
One of new rooms was not properly cleaned.
Both rooms had no hot water on multiple days.
Staff were friendly, great and helpful.

The property itself is very nice. They have a huge opportunity in service consistency. The people on the front desk were great, and a few of the staff, unfortunately the bad out weighed the good. The food options are good and ridiculously overpriced. We donât mind paying a premium (hence why we came here) but the food and service did not live up to Marriott standardsâŚ

Beautiful property. Great pools and walking trails and the rooms are excellent.
Lack of cohesion in the restaurants⌠long wait times for food at lunch restaurants.
A la Carte restaurants were excellent

Beautiful location. Friendly welcoming staff. The front desk staff were very helpful but some of them seemed to lack the knowledge to answer some of our questions about the activities advertised. Perhaps they were training new staff for the upcoming busy season. We were very pleased with the 2 hotel activities that we participated in

Staff are friendly. Just the long wait on check in.

We travelled for our sonâs 10th birthday and to test whether we wanted to book a two week stay in the summer.
We travelled with 3 children including a baby, it took 90 minutes to get a baby crib at nighttime and I had to call 3 times to remind them.
We ordered room service in the evening and was told it would take 30-40 minutes, it took 75 minutes and our childrenâs food was cold and inedible at which stage the kitchen was just shutting.
We wanted to order room service for breakfast but my husband spent 30 minutes trying to call but no one was picking up.
When we checked out we had to fight to have the kids meals comped. When we asked if the hotel was busy we were told it wasnât, which doesnât bode well for the peak season.

Ive been in several Marriot hotels but this is far is the best experience. The ine bedroom suite was amazing and felt homely.
The people, the people, the people. They made all the difference. From the concierge, to the restaurant, lounge, housekeeping etc they were so courteous, friendly and ALWAYS willing to help. It was my first time and sure wont be the last.

Outstanding service - above and beyond any I've experienced at other hotels- consistently helpful, respectful and warm - from personal email pre-check-in, to front desk check-in and speedy and attentive response to every request through our stay. Plus of course absolutely beautiful setting and grounds, spacious and comfortable suite. My adult daughters and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.
