Two nights relaxing in Derbyshire countryside.

Wildhive Callow Hall was a fantastic place to stay with our family on our last night in the UK, and it was one of our favorite hotels of 5 on a 2 week stay in the UK! Situated in the Peak District, the location and property was absolutely stunning. We stayed in the main building, but walked around to the tree houses, which would be so fun and nice with a group for a longer stay. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful when my father-in-law requested an extra bed sheet, and when we asked to get into their restaurant at the last minute, they moved some things around to accommodate us. The food was a definite highlight - dinner was delicious and breakfast was great the next morning - lots of options presented in a beautiful room and very good food! The rooms and beds were very comfortable and the property is so beautiful. No complaints at all for this lovely hotel. Thank you!

Not worth the money. Buzzing sound - possibly air conditioning or kitchen fans? Room was too small for 2 people, bed was too high. Beautiful setting

Just a lovely place to stay. Relaxing and informal but with high standards of comfort and customer care.

An incredible 3 days in one of the luxurious treehouses. Facilities were superb, staff were all lovely and accommodating, such a fantastic place for a country break.
Dinner & breakfast excellent. Restaurant staff were warm and friendly.
Room was clean and well-appointed - copper outside bath was sublime.

Lovely property, well thought out, really enjoyed the place and the food.

Beautiful hotel in a stunning location. Love the concept & green initiatives in place. Found the service from reception to be lacking and service in the restaurant became painfully slow after mains, which was disappointing especially given the price point.

We had such a lovely, relaxing trip. We stayed in a room in the main house, which was beautiful, with fabulous views of the countryside. As soon as we arrived we were greeted and made to feel welcome. The fire was roaring in the reception area and the whole ambience was cosy and inviting.
We enjoyed walks through the woodland and gardens. The food in the restaurant is fabulous, so I would definitely recommend booking that if you are stopping at the hotel.

My wife and I spent an idyllic couple of nights in a 'lovely' double (Room 16 - GF) and couldn't have been more comfortable there. The staff were all lovely and helpful, and made us feel welcome in every setting within the hotel. The property is immaculately maintained, and delivered just what we needed for our mini-break. Having bike hire for free was an added bonus, with the local Tissington Trail giving me a perfect way to spend a morning whilst my wife got a massage treatment.
The only small knock would be the pricing of breakfast. The full breakfast was actually reasonably priced compared to much worse offerings we've had from budget hotels, but we felt it a bit much to pay £9 for a very small bowl of overnight oats and £8 for granola. With the rooms already being pretty pricey, it would have been nice to get the contintental style options included and only pay a supplement for a cooked/hot breakfast.
That small gripe wouldn't be enough to stop us returning for another stay, and we would recommend the hotel to anybody looking for a luxurious couples break.

Fantastic couple of nights in the Bluebell Hive.
First time staying here and looking for an excuse to return.
Staff really friendly and down to earth.
Main house is great (lovely breakfasts) and hives are fantastic experience.

Rooms are overpriced for what you get but food and environment are great.

Good hotel with stunning interiors but a little snooty.

Treehouses are exceptional

Expedia screwed up. You booked me in You confirmed my reservation. But when I arrived I found the property locked and closed for the year! Very luckily there was one person on site who heard me try and open the locked entrance door and called to a nearby hotel that had one room left!

Callow hall is a gorgeously grand hotel in a most beautifully peaceful setting. Surrounded by lush green countryside that overlooks a spectacular view of the fields and farmlands,it really takes your breath away. The gardens are lovely, perfect for wedding photos with the romantic bandstand ,tables and chairs and well tended flowers and shrubs. If your looking to get away from it all and enjoy a bit of luxury I would highly recommend Callow Hall.

Lovely building, excellent staff due for needed renovation and rejuvenation. Chef needs some creativity too.

My reservation for the dog at this pet friendly hotel was a problem for the receptionist. She bordered on rudeness through our check in saying that they only had one pet friendly room and it hadn't been prepared.
Later in the evening she was taking our dinner order. We took some time deciding as I had to translate the menu for my wife. When we were finally ready, she said loudly "Well you will just have to wait for me now because I came by twice and you weren't ready.'
Unfortunately, we ordered dinner to discover that the meal was really poorly done. Tinned pickled peppers on the sage gnocchi, tough meat made a meal that wasn't worth eating. Another couple sent back their meals .
