The stay was horrible, one computer working when I got there and after 10 min of waiting she finally said I will check you out in the office. That took another 10 minutes. Both elevators inspections were out of date (10/12/24) and when I got back after a long day I went to get ice, my key card got stuck in the door, had to walk back downstairs and tell them and the girl at the desk was calling for the maintenance man and she didn’t even have the walker talkie on while she was texting the same time in her phone. She acted as if she could care less, the maintenance guy came up and he couldn’t get the card out and how to pry the door open, I had to pack everything up, move across the hall and the girl from the from the desk that had come up to give me a new key, neither the green nor red light on the key reader worked. Then for a $200 room, breakfast was $15 l!!! Whoever the manager is should be fired. I will never stay there again and I have told everyone not to stay there and I have a lot of friends that go to Starkville!!

While the property was safe and of average quality, the hotel front desk staff were not only incompetent but also unprofessional as I was initially charged an exorbitantly high rate and after booking online, staff twice neglected to authenticate my room keys, which caused an unpleasant and inconvenient experience. To add insult to injury, the staff insisted that I verify my room key by using an alternative exit door to leave the premises and use to key to reenter the building. This was an unfortunate encounter and the front desk staff should receive better training.

Everyone was friendly. The checkin went great. Beds were okay comfortable. The worst part is they want you to pay for breakfast. We paid over $300 for a room because of game night and then you have to pay $15 a person for breakfast. I think that’s a little ridiculous.

They have this beautiful continental breakfast out for guests but unfortunately after paying high dollar to stay there you also are charged $11 for yogurt and bagels. Very disappointed! The young ladies who worked on the night of June 27, 2024 are AWESOME!!!!

Hotel begins to show some issues with “settling “ our room entrance door required two adults to open ….was in a terrible pinch against the jamb.
Another sign of settling; the bathtub held water due to unlevel situation.
I will say the AC works great.
Housekeeping needs help.
Window screen was damaged.
Room 517. 3 nights at premium $ for commencement.

Only Major problem is the Bathroom had the worst lighting I have ever seen. The little lights were like night lights. I could not see to fix my hair. or do my makeup. Those need to be replaced ASAP. Everything else was good.

Normally, I don’t have any problems here, but this particular time I did. When I got there the staff told me no “King rooms” were available. I sat in the lobby and someone after me came in about 15 minutes afterward, signed right into a King! And the staff that told me no rooms were available, gathered her belonging walked out, went home without telling me anything. Well, I went back to the front desk and the other attendant acted as if she didn’t want to help me! Finally, I got signed in!

This property was clean, quiet and close to where I needed to be for sports, dining and shopping.

Easy check in and friendly front staff. Room is definitely a bit dated and older looking, but it was clean and spacious. AC, Hot Water and Water pressure were all great. Parking was easy too. Close to restaurant and MSU Campus and great location.

Obviously not a luxury hotel but for the price point this property was nice. Well maintained and very pleasant staff.

The little restaurant was good and the waitress was amazing! We choose this hotel for its proximity to Mississippi State. We would definitely stay here again!

Bathroom was poor condition, sink taps about to come off. Tub was damaged and room looked dated and in poor condition.

I wasn’t aware that there was a $50 charge for pets until we checked out. I saw that it was pet friendly but didn’t say anything on the website.

We were looking forward to using the pool, but it was closed the entire weekend/stay. Had we known that when we booked, we would have booked somewhere else because we have a 2 year old that we promised swimming to.

This was an excellent stay for my weekend. The staff was very knowledgeable regarding any hotel/restaurants/directions/ etc. questions asked. I would definitely stay again as I have when I come home to Starkville

I’ve been staying at this hotel for over 5 years. The hotel’s condition is terrible. The floors are soiled, bathrooms are dirty and many fixtures are in need of repair. Pool had algae growing in it. Walls had dirt and grime on them. Bed linens were clean, but stained and disgusting. The only positive thing was the staff serving breakfast— they were great. It’s time to shut down and remodel or you risk hurting the Hilton brand name. Won’t be staying there again.

My favorite hotel in Starkville.
Great staff and clean comfortable room.

The hotel was fabulous. I have stayed here before with zero issues, but the indoor pool is currently closed for renovations and that wasn’t anywhere on the Hotels.com website or the actual hotel website. I wasn’t informed until check-in and this hotel was only booked for that reason (it was my kids birthday and they wanted to swim). Very disappointing. The front desk girl was very helpful and offered to call her manager and see if she could get us into a jacuzzi suite, but the manager declined to help since it was posted on the front desk counter that the pool was closed. One heck of a notice, if you ask me.

The first room we stayed in had clearly not been cleaned. Garbage in the trash and the bed smelled like the last person who slept there with stains on the sheets. We were moved to another room that was a little better but still.. luckily we didn’t have to stay but for a few hours before getting back on the road.

location, had convenient restaurant for late night orderding, did not have to leave hotel when got there at 9 pm friday night.

The service was by far the best feature of this hotel. Everyone on staff was friendly, made the stay easy and welcoming. Hotel definitely could use updating, mainly indoor pool area, advertising hot tub you don’t fill or use is annoying.

Good location for what we were in Starkville for. The mattress was a bit too soft for my preference. The stopper in tub didn't work but great shower pressure. The AC was a little weird but it worked.

It was very classy given the city and part of state it reaides. I wasn't expecting it to be as nice aa it was. Very impressed.

Room was humid and wet with overpowering scent. Bathroom and tub were gross. Very disappointed for a college town!

Wasn't expecting just a continental breakfast, most 4 to 5 star hotels have the works, but i did purchase additional items as i specifically ordered and it came out wrong, when i brought it back myself because the waitress was not doing her job, they had an attitude with me about them preparing it wrong, and the waitress also directly told her manager that i was arrogant, witch by the way i was not ,what i was was just wanting what i specifically ordered, but in the end,the manager made it right, added,i did not go back the next morning to purchase again.had my experience been pleasant, i would have, because i was there for two more mornings
