Good place to stay. Bring ear plugs just in case. I slept well. Nice peaceful atmosphere. Val is very welcoming and accommodating. Within walking distance and lots of restaurants.

This house was the best house we have ever stayed at , Val’s communication was first class. Her home is very comfortable and welcoming, would love to visit again . I assure you you will not be disappointed.

We had a back room that you had to enter from an outside back door. So to get to the main part of the house we had to walk around the house, outside (not a big deal except in the rain). Our room was warm (even with the fan on) and did not seem to be getting any of the air conditioning that the rest of the house received. There were also tiny tiny ants all over our bathroom sink, so much so that I took everything off it and cleaned it. The kitchen in the upstairs of the main part of the house was awesome and the owner was great. If you like the character of a really old house, you might like it. But the streets, sidewalks, etc. around the neighborhood were all torn up and downtown Augusta looks rough. We didn’t feel unsafe walking to and from but there are many dilapidated buildings along the way.

Great Inn, the second time we’ve stayed here. Very nice, clean, and accommodating.

Good communication from the staff. Felt like I was supporting a local business. Would stay here again.
For me I booked it for its proximity to the running trail by the river.

Beautiful Victorian stroll home. Very nice.

Beautiful home that has been neglected. We did not meet the owner or anyone else for that matter. We had the whole house to ourselves. Breakfast was a note that there were pop tarts in the kitchen, cold cereal, milk, hard boiled eggs and sweet rolls along with granola bars. No one was here to cook for us, self serve. Plus the K-cup for coffee did not work. Bed was very comfortable, breakfast was pathetic.

The Queen Anne is a charming inn located within easy walking distance of downtown Augusta, a historic area that is undergoing a rebirth. We loved it.

The Queen Anne has ruined me for hotels, motels, etc. The owner/operator, Val, is a sweetheart, and goes above and beyond at any time of day to ensure her guests have what they need.
We WILL be back, and soon!

The Queen Anne brought back memories of my childhood. Valerie is a treasure and was so full of information and suggestions. We greatly enjoyed our room and our stay and look forward to staying again. We felt very comfortable there, as if we were at home.

We really enjoyed our first stay at the Queen Anne. Our host Valerie met us when we arrived and was very friendly and helpful. The house was constructed in 1895 and is located on a quiet street in downtown Augusta. Our room was very nice and comfortable with a four poster bed. It was an easy walk to downtown amenities and close to the Riverwalk. Breakfast was in a very nice enclosed sun porch. We will definitely stay at the Queen Anne again when we are in Augusta.

Nice quant B&B. Heating and air could be better. Room would not get below 80 during the day. All and all room was probably as should be expected from a historic age home.

I'm sorry to post this, because Val seems (by text and phone) a super sincere and well meaning person; after rereading the listing, however, I feel travelers should be warned, particularly unaccompanied female(s), who like me could find this experience creepy and disturbing. I arrived just before 5pm, as I told Val I would, but the place was absolutely empty - I had to unlock the door using code (the listing says front desk is staffed until 10pm: not so.) Also the street was deserted except for one old car that appeared abandoned, and many of the adjoining buildings were weedy, boarded up, etc. Felt VERY uncomfortable out there alone unloading luggage and working the padlock on the front door. Once inside the large dark mansion, where all the lights were off - I had to find switches... there was no one to tell me which of the many rooms was supposed to be mine - after wandering around cautiously for awhile I had to text and call Val several times before reaching her. She also had not stocked the fridges with the ice, nor the cream for coffee, she had promised - she seemed distracted and overworked. There was no place nearby to get these items and I didn't want to start driving around that area with night falling - and then come back alone to this house after dark. For the same reason I didn't feel comfortable leaving to find a restaurant for dinner so I ended up locking myself in my room and eating a bag of nuts. The house was quiet all night - I believe I was all alone.

Room is spacious and amenities are wonderful for the price! Bath jets were a little dirty is really the only thing that comes to mind. Such courteous people honestly (thanks for the cereal/coffee/breads you personally stored in the fridge for us). All in all I hope to reserve the space again if and when I come back down to Georgia!

This was a great get away from the kids! We had the whole house to ourselves. The house is beautiful and full of old world charm. The host had lots of little touches, chocolate, champagne (for free!). Close to local restaurants etc. We will definitely book again.
