We had a wonderful time. The service was exceptional from the time we arrived till we checked out. We spoke very little Spanish but they accommodated us willing. We were upgraded to a very spacious room that was beautifully decorated. This hotel definitely feels high end and luxurious. Only drawback was the sauna was out on the men's locker room and we couldn't get an iron for our room. The had to do the ironing themselves which they charged for. That felt like they were nickel and dining us and it was pricey. Otherwise we had a great stay

The hotel is good, the room and the view are amazing. The stuff is great. Only one disappointment - my jumper shrunk during the laundry. They washed it according to the recommendation but drying is standard and very hot. To be fair the stuff tried to help, even late at night, which is really appreciated. They took it back and tried to stretch which worked but only temporarily, it shrunk again later.

I can’t speak highly enough of supervisor Franco and the staff at the Diplomatic Hotel. Franco personally assisted me when I needed emergency medical attention for a badly twisted knee coming out of an airplane. The staff lent me a wheelchair and shower chair for the whole 4 days of my visit enabling me to join my friends on day trip outings. The hotel lobby is beautifully decorated and the rooms large enough to fit the wheelchair (with some effort in the bathroom). Thanks all. It was the best time possible given my injury.

If you plan to spend most of your time in town and around the hotel, this place makes sense. If you plan to visit wineries all day, trek Mt. Aconcagua etc, save your money to spend on the wine tours and local shops and Michelin star restaurants. Their breakfast is nothing special.

Diplomatic was a very nice hotel. We visited the spa and enjoyed that experience as well. The hotel is super convenient to good restaurants and walkable to tourist attractions.

The first room had a broken air conditioner. We wanted heat and this wouldn’t turn off. The reception said it would be a couple of hours before maintenance could come up to take a look at it, so at 8:30 pm after we already showered, we had to switch rooms. In the next room, the bidet was working correctly. The next morning reception said that maintenance would come up while we were at breakfast. We stayed at breakfast for an hour. When we returned, nobody’s had fixed it.

They tried to charge us double the Expedia rate on checkout. It was if they had never seen our Expedia reservation.

Staff was very stiff and it didn’t matter that I was Expedia platinum, I had to show them I was entitled to an uograde and even though a big hotel that didn’t seem bust nothing was offered until our last night so why move then. No complimentary water, coffee anything, really? BTW - I contacted Expedia for help and you were zero help with your chat bot and supposedly live chat. Travel is not what it used or bel. I could sacrifice amenity, but really appreciate respect of being good well travelled customer. Oh well.

Good location and amazing service. Food is delicious. However, I had problems checking in because they couldn't find my reservation because I did it though Hotels.com. I never had a problem in the past but I was frustrated with this. After researching for my reservation, I was inform that their system didn't loaded my reservation that it was done 5 months before my stay.

Hotel muito bem localizado, próximo de bares, restaurantes, farmácias e lojas de conveniência. O lobby e o restaurante são muito bonitos, bom café da manhã e boa comida. A academia é pequena e a piscina não é aquecida. O quarto é grande, os colchões que já estão precisando ser trocados, mas não são desconfortáveis, e como fiquei no andar baixo dava pra ouvir barulho da rua nos primeiros dias, depois acostumei. No geral é muito bom, foi minha segunda vez nesse hotel.

Pro: location, fairly priced, very helpful and well trained staff The only con was that only 2 elevators are not adequate, sometimes the wait was long. Business center did not have a computer or printer, but frontdesk was willing to print our documents.
