Fantastic hotel in Chalong

The Good:
The property was very well cared for. There is a lot of vegetation around so if you like greenery this is the place for you. Everything was clean and tidy. Staff was also very nice, polite and helpful when you needed help with something.
Rooms were very clean and well cared for. Overall maintenance was good.
Breakfast selection was quite good. All the food tasted fresh and was delicious.
The Bad.
* Our room was composted of two rooms, a bedroom and what seemed to be a living room. The bedroom did not have any TV which sucked. The living room had a tv, but no practical way to sit and watch. I had to watch tv using a chair. It would have been better if the TV were mounted in the bedroom.
* Bathroom was terrible. You can see in the picture attached. No isolation between the shower and the rest of the bathroom except for the toilet via a shower curtain. When you take a shower, the entire bathroom floor is wet and good luck walking in without getting your feet wet. It was so impractical and one of the dumbest setups I've ever come across. In addition, the soap, body wash and shampoo bottoms were in such tiny bottles, it was a joke. We didn't ask to get our room cleaned each day so we had to request for toilet paper and refills which was annoying.
* AC repair men showed up 2ft from our bedroom window inspecting the AC without letting us know. If anyone were not fully dressed, we would have given them a show. Not professional.

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay here. Our villa by the large pool was spacious and comfortable. Good TV choices for English speakers. The whole complex is quiet and really beautifully landscaped. Both pools were very nice and very well maintained. Breakfast was for the most part pretty good with great fresh fruit and some good choices. We enjoyed the cappuccinos and lattes and a nice selection of breads and local food. The view of Chalong Bay from țħe restaurant was really special of Make sure you see when the tide is out and watch the boats floating on sand. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Terrible WiFi…it didn’t mater what time of the day or night..it was almost impossible to get and hold a connection for any length of time.
Like many Thai Hotels the bed was a little too firm for me.
Breakfast could really be improved if they offered eggs to order like most other Thai Hotels. The eggs were fried ahead of time and layed out in a large warming pan. They just were not appetizing for me.
Even with a few areas needing improvement I am looking forward to my next trip to Phuket and staying at the Aochalong Villa Resort & Spa. Next time we will be staying longer.

The facility is old but no new updates.

The scenery was beautiful, peaceful, and quiet. Staff were attentive and polite. Food and drinks were on point.

If you want peace and quiet, this is the place. Cute hotel. Beach front. Free breakfast.

Beautiful, charming and cozy, beautiful beach front, safe, quiet, and far from the noise and chaos of Patong! As a single female traveller, this was a wonderfully relaxing and charming little getaway spot. The ocean front villa was beyond luxury and charm. Worth a little extra for one of these! And the staff were just so lovely and helpful. Can’t say enough good about this place.

Terrible food and disrespectful hosts. I walked out with a night payed for

Just don't bother, I left with a night payed for because I couldn't be bothered to deal with the staff after they called my girl friend of 8 years a sex worker because she is from Thailand. Rude disrespectful and in apologetic. Not worth my time

Aochalong Resort and Spa turn out surprisingly to be a very cozy place to unwind for a couple of days. Tuckead owy from the hustle and bustle of the busy areas yet still just a short ride to major attractions and shopping. Accomodations were nice and clean. The service was good. and the onsite restaurant was really nice too.
8.0
The facility was nice, but the area is quiet and far from anything. The beach has broken glass and is not a place to swim or enjoy like other beaches on the island.
8.0
Nice place if you want peace and quiet but terrible if you want to party etc. Upon arrival AC didn’t work and it took them a good hour to fix. I also paid for a poolside room but the pool next to the room was under construction and they wouldn’t refund me. It seemed like a bait and switch tactic typical of these mediocre hotels in Phuket. Poor service overall. Good food at breakfast. Too many mosquitos

Friendly staff; seaside area looks like an amazing oasis with beautiful view on the yacht port

My best friend and I just stayed here for 9 days. The resort staff was super friendly and attentive and helped us with anything that we needed, the pool is gorgeous and we actually stayed in the ocean front villa , which was also one of the best rooms and had to hidden terrace up top. I would absolutely stay here again. As a female traveler , it was super safe and comfortable

I stayed here for 3 nights in Janaury 2024. The property is in Chalong which is quite far from the airport but they offer pick up from the airport for Thai Baht 1000 each way for up to 6 people. When I arrived I was amazed by looking at the property. It was very beautiful and gave a proper resort vibe. Check-in was very smooth and the room was very clean and I liked it. The drawback is that the WiFi in this resort doesn't work the best. It just did not work for me inside the room but it worked pretty well in the balcony of my room, near the pool, and in other common areas. Another drawback is that they will give you 2 water bottles per day and anything extra apart from that you will have to pay. The swimming pool is huge. There are two pools and both are great. It is very peaceful and the food at Sea Time Cafe is delicious (although the service is a little slow). Overall it was a great stay and I would highly recommend it.

Combination of individual villa/bungalows and main building bedrooms. Located on beach and a small walk to main pier for boat excursions. Buffet Breakfast offering either continental or Thai food was very nice as well as lunch and evening mean with a good quality menu. Staff were very kind and approachable. Overall I would return for future stays and would recommend this accommodation

Relaxing and warm atmosphere. The staff were smiling and authentic in their way of communicating with the guests. This is a warm place - both on the outside and the inside.

We had booked a poolside room but was told when we arrived this is now not possible. We were only there one night. From what we saw it needs updating. Looks very tired. Staff lovely. Very helpful.

An excellent hotel with friendly staff and 2 beautiful pools. Friendly and trained staff. Excellent breakfast. Great views of Chalong Bay and pier.

The resort is beautiful and full of nature. It is a bit secluded, but that's exactly what we wanted since we didn't want to be close to the clubs and popular beaches. The service is great and you can spend all day inside the resort enjoying the pool, food, and great amenities.

The stay at Aochalong was very nice, they had a nice pool area, by the sea, with the restaurant just next to it.
There was another pool alitle further inside the hotel perimeter, which was a bit colder, but had nice features.
Hotel staff was smiling and very helpful, we only stayed here one night, but could easily been 2 or 3 more nights, the hotel is at a remote location, so if you want to go out at night this is not for you, but if u want couple's getaway for a few days, this is perfect.
The food was good, at the evening when we where there, they arranged a bbq party very nice.
The internet is not good unfortunately, there were difficulties connecting when in our hotel room

We have been stay here over 7 years just because of the location but resort itself do need to improve management, transportation services with no extra charge it used to have just to take guests to the main road. Food 🙁 NO GOOD I have order sea food noodle for 2 on the 1day arrival. Very salty ☹️I did ask a waiter to try my dish. Yes he say salty he said maybe I not used too 😖 they still charge me for that dish and nothing be done for this poor food. I still hungry and very tired from travel by car 6hrs and half hours to get there all I need just rest. Then during our stay there 3night we never eat there. I want the owner to see this and get the chef to sorted this place have amazing views but just poor food and service.

The hotel was clean and nice, we had a nice stay. There were no restaurants very near to the hotel, but their own restaurant was nice and the breakfast was good.
The pools were beautiful, but you can’t swim or walk much at the sea shore.

A nice enough place. Unfortunately something not quite right here.

My husband and I had a wonderful 6 days stay at this charming little hotel recently. (10 days ago) We we’re able to upgrade to one their villas by the pool and the ocean. The staffs there were very friendly and helpful! The property is small the way we love it and if you rent a scooter you get to Rawai and Kata Beach easily! (10-20 minutes) The place may somewhat be isolated but once you hit the main road, you’ll find that you’re so close to pretty much everything: bars, restaurants, 7/11 etc! Overall, yes I will definitely come back to this place when I get a chance to visit Thailand again:)

A little out of the way but perfect for Phuket Yacht Club…2 minutes walk. Hotel is in need of upgrading but clean. Staff are great.

Another great stay here, sea view room is big and roomy, air-con was good. Bathrooms could do with an up grade but ok. Buffet breakfast is fine. A bit remote but perfect for me as I was sailing from the yacht club which is next door.

we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It's not conveniently located near any tourist attractions (except for Chalong pier), and the beach isn't wonderful, but the views are pretty, and spacious rooms with a view affordably priced. Pools are very nice.

This hotel was solid choice for a two night stay. Nothing spectacular but safe, clean, comfortable. Service was excellent and they speak English which was very helpful. Solo female traveler, was safe with no issues.

Didn’t stay would really like a refund Dirty place photos are nothing like the place it’s down a dirt road , disgusting could not get out of there fast enough. Went over to Patong

This hotel had absolutely beautiful gardens and pools. It was peaceful and had a great view of the harbour and big Buddha from our balcony. The hotel was a bit hard for our taxi to find as it was down a back road, but the hotel itself offered a taxi service which made it easier when we got there. Staff were very helpfup setting up a ferry to Ko Phi Phi. Breakfast items were a bit strange some mornings and could be hot held at a higher temperature. Overall a great experience.
2.0
Beautiful, but they didn’t have our room.... instead of the pool villa with ocean view they gave us the last minute standard rooms, nothing but disappointing...
The restaurant served rotten chicken and wrong items.
Staff friendly and sweet.
Thanks
