Lovely 2-night stay in a triple room. Room was spacious, nice decor, very clean. Friendly reception and nice seating area out front of the property. Only 5 min walk to train station in Juan-Les-Pins, so great base for exploring the areas. Would definitely stay again.

We had an excellent 6 days at Hotel & Studios Astor. Isabel and Christophe are great hosts, very friendly and helpful. Hotel made us relaxed and feel like at home. Location wise, it is in a walking distance to Old Town and Juan Les Pins beaches. Also Train station is just 3 mins away where you can take easily and cheap trains to Cannes and Nice etc.

Nice room, friendly staff. Location was a longish walk across train tracks to the seafront & restaurants. Great to have washer/drier facilities available.

I've stayed here for work and with family now - very quiet, lovely area, so convenient to both Antibes and Juan-Les-Pins. The fridge is fully stocked and on-trust (and liberally used by us), the owner is kind - strong recommend if you're looking for something local, clean, efficient, comfy, and outside the big brand names.

Great hospitality from the hosts. Comfortable rooms.

Absolutely wonderful little hotel that is run by a wonderful couple.
The property is clean, spacious, and delightfully appointed. The convenience of the available laundry, automatic coffee machine, and cooler full of drinks (all for a reasonable additional cost) is only surpassed by the convenience of the hotel’s proximity to the Juan-les-pins train station.
Using the hotel as a base to explore the French Riviera from Menton to Marseille, we were easily able to take in all the sights and events we had planned. We will definitely recommend Hotel Astor to our family and friends.

Lovely proprietors, very friendly. Very comfortable bed and room. Beautifully scented. All the amenities you would hope for. Extra special touches, such as pay-as-go beverages available 24/7, a map of the area in the room, balconies or private outside spaces, ample secure parking.

The owners really care that their customers enjoy their stay. They asked each morning how they stay was going, and if there was anything they could do to make the stay better. The rooms are very roomy, and the hotel is located in a nice quiet neighborhood, but very walkable to the beach and amenities found down that way. The hotel had a really welcoming energy...very happy that we picked this hotel to stay at for the week.

We had a wonderful time at this hotel. Breakfasts were excellent, owners were very friendly and helpful, and location was great.

Nice staff, we arrive earlier and we can check in earlier when the room is ready. Even laundry services are charged but it worth for travelers who visit many places and need to clean their clothes.

This hotel is a good fit for some people - but not for us.
We booked a terrace room for three nights. We arrived in afternoon and office was closed (only open in morning) and check-in instructions were clipped to a board at the entry. Our room was two floors down, no elevator and at the end of a narrow hall. It had a door to a narrow terrace that had been excavated many feet below grade. The room was clean but clearly a one-star room that barely met the definition of a daylight basement.
We left the room to find food. The neighborhood is residential with no services visible anywhere. There was no person on-site to ask for directions. We mistakenly walked toward Antibes. It was a 20 minute walk before we found anything.
We were travelling for pleasure and decided this facility wasn’t going to work for us. We forfeited the 2 remaining nights.
If our objective was the Juan Les Pin beach, a hike to any services, and a value room and we knew to avoid the basement location, Hotel Astor might have been a good choice.
We talked to the owner as we left to move to a new hotel. He was incredulous that we would leave and fiercely defended his hotel and the accuracy of their description. I requested partial refund. I was refused, which was his right. Still, we left as dissatisfied guests and a gracious host would have made some attempt to mitigate the situation. We paid nearly 200 euros per night at Astor and found a gorgeous Antibes hotel for just slightly more.

Over the years I have stayed at maybe 15 hotels/flats in Juan les Pins and this was one of the best value options. It’s about 10 mins walk from the centre and no sea view but compensated by the good size of the studio, the price and the charming host couple.

I only spent one night at the hotel in late february and I would love to come back. Very clean room, nice and quiet location.

Nice room with a lot of space. Only problem was the transparent curtains, difficult to sleep when the street lights lit up the room during night.

We do not recommend!!!We stayed at the basement, but was really -2 floor the ventilation of the room was done through the illuminator and the air quality was very poor, moisture and smelling. Couldnt rest at all!!The owners attitude was aggressive and disinterestedand she refused to change our room.We chose this hotel also for free parking but it had limited places. When we arrived we had to block another car from hotel. We were woken up in the morning to move the car urgently so that we would not receive the fine.

Not good service, never saw any hotel staff, reception only open for an hour in the morning,
Just a note when we got there, rooms terrible, bed, lamp, air con didn’t work even though I reported it, they did not fix, only a coffee machine in hall. That’s it, maybe they should re-name the place and not mention the word Hotel..

Overall, our experience was a pleasant one. We were in a studio apartment so there was no cleaning, breakfast, or towel changes included in the four nights we were there. In fact I only ever saw our hosts at check-in and check-out. This suited us, but someone expecting a hotel experience might be disappointed. The location was excellent and convenient. It was quiet at night, felt very safe and was a relatively short walk to the train station (5min) and the beach (10min). There was also a grocery store nearby as well as plenty of restaurants. The property is in a residential area but nothing one needs is more than five minutes away. The air conditioning worked well. The kitchen was functional and allowed us to fry eggs each morning and store our fruit and other snacks. The host loves insense which I was fine with, but some individuals who are sensitive to odors may find overwhelming. The value for money was excellent on this room and I left very happy.

Loved our quiet unit; very groovy zen vibe. The hosts were absolutely lovely, couldn’t have asked for a more lovely time. We normally stay at the Grand Pavois and quite honestly I enjoyed our studio at the Astor hotel over a suite there. Both places have wonderful attributes but the exercise the location demanded for us and the proximity it afforded to both Juan Les Pins and old Antibes was perfect for us(we were both very out of shape when we showed up, ate and drank like Vikings and still came homer fitter than when we left-it was better than a stay at Canyon Ranch). Hope to stay there again next summer!

Located conveniently between the beach and Antibes. Perfect to visit Cannes and the other famous locations also by train because of the proximity of the train station. Very kind owners.

Great place to stay. We were a family of 4, great room, 10 min walk to the sea. Great athmosphere and smell of lavender in the hotel.

This is a great hotel in a quiet residential neighborhood situated a short walk from the beach in Juan les pins and a bit further walk from old town Antibes. The hotel is very welcoming and my room for four was large and comfortable. The room had a bunk bed for the kids and a queen for the adults. The room was air conditioned and had a deck. You can choose to order breakfast and eat in your room or on the front patio. We had a nice sized table with four chairs both on the deck and in our room. The furnishing was simple and modern and everything was very well maintained. The room was quiet and great for a good night sleep. The owner was very welcoming and we felt right at home. The property also has 9 parking slots, three in front and six in a back lot that is very convenient. The train station is very close and would make this an ideal location for those traveling by train. Overall a great stay and we would not hesitate to stay here again!

The Astor hotel is overall a decent place for resting, the Room is large yet dated. The images on the website are not as represented by our Room. The place smells heavily of petroleum oil throughout the entire hotel. Parking is very tight and limited. It can be noisy at least on the bottom floor where we stayed, it is all tile and there's nothing to absorb any sounds. The bed was comfortable and we were only given one towel for the 2 of us. Breakfast is not free but available for a nominal charge.

Very clean, bright airy rooms. I had a balcony. Close to all amenities. Close to the railway station for travelling along the coast to Nice, Cannes, Monaco and beyond. Nice Airport bus stops at the end of the street. 5-10 minutes to Juan-les-Pins town and seafront.
Friendly, helpful hotel owners
