This place is the best place near the center of attractions.
The staff was simply the best. Marie checked us in and was super friendly and accommodating giving us lots of information, covered parking is easy . Piero gave us good information about driving around the area including driving to Civito di Bagnoregio which we would never had seen otherwise.Geiar was and excellent host for breakfast and a super barista. We were so happy to find this place. The beds were very comfortable and we slept well. If one is a XXL size the shower may be an issue, but it is typically European.

I liked this hotel be was not by the town square. The room was comfortable and the breakfast good. The cappuccino was delicious.
I enjoyed the persons at the front desk. They spoke English and were helpful. Also this hotel has an elevator for higher floors. Good deal!

Great location one block from the main shopping street. Orvieto is a beautiful town on top of a hill and its all accessible by foot. Taxi or furnicular train takes you down to the rail station. Many things to see here. The hotel does not have a pool or sauna. Nice rooms with quiet AC or heat.Very clean. Bathroom is small with a phone booth size shower stall, no tub in my room. I had a room with two twin beds.

The Hotel Valentino was an easy, but a little bit long walk from the sites in Orvieto. The room was simple, but comfortable. The staff was outstanding. I would book this again.

This hotel offers very good value and is in a good location.

This hotel was smoky, terrible breakfast, very uncomfortable bed and pillows. My husband was sore for days! The only good thing was the pretty marble floors.

The staff was very warm and accomodating. Great location to everything in Orvietto. I felt like home staying there.

Refrigerator did not work , A/C largely ineffective. View of trashy back alley

evening staff speaks better English & was helpful. wifi was bad: worked in lobby but didnt work in room. AC works but weak. the shower stall is cramped typical of small Italian hotels and leaks through the doors. but hotel has a great location. if driving, call hotel for parking instructions. day staff showed me the garage (like a US house garage) across the street from the front door but its inside a no entry zone. we were too tired to move the car from the parking garage at the opposite side of town. and didnt understand his answer on our ZTL question. not sure if theres a ZTL camera in Orvieto or not. overall, staff is friendly. recommendable.

Breakfast was adequate, staff spoke English, and the location was convenient to shops, restaurants, and the duomo. The place could really use some updates, though. Our room was dark and dated. Beware if you book a room for 3 people, as we did, that one of the beds is a Murphy bed (folds out of some kind of cabinet) and is not very comfortable.

Our stay was pleasant. Staff were efficient, friendly & helpful. Would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is just great and the owner is very helpful. Excellent place to rest between Firenze and Roma.
However, you will need a recent GPS to be there safely.
An A+ overall,
Duy

This hotel is about 2 blocks from the Main Street in town, which makes it quite quiet.
The hotel is outdated, but a decent value for the price. The breakfast was below average by European standards, but still decent. The staff wasn't particularly good at English, but we managed.

A bit noisey, staff were nice and helped with my wheel chair.

The hotel is in a wonderful location and the staff were friendly and helpful. It could perhaps do with updating and the breakfasts could perhaps have been a little better, but it was good value, so I have no complaints.

old fashioned and double room a bit small, strange triangular shower, but clean and well appointed, good breakfast, very friendly staff, centrally located. would stay again but really prefer accommodations with kitchen when travelling with kids.

Owner did not seem to know much about the area, could not give recommendations for dining etc... One bath towel, no hand towels or face towels The room was clean and breakfast was okay. The reason I would not recommend this hotel is mainly because you have to pay for hotel parking. If you are staying for a few days, this could really add up.

Quadruple room one flight above lift service. All good, great service, but shame about the shower hose in the bath... Just a little awkward. Absolutely loved Orvieto and enjoyed our stay at Hotel Valentino.

Room & hotel were basic but clean. In old part of city. Public parking (pay parking) just out the door. No English spoken when I was there.

Hotel Valentino was in the perfect location for my business and, being so close to Termini, offered the chance to see some of the wonderful city of Rome. Service was very friendly, rooms were very clean and food was nice and not-to-expensive.

Normal 3 star Italian hotel in a good, central location. Clean but very basic with dated furniture and bathroom hardware. Breakfast was included, but was very limited.

We chose this hotel based on price, reviews, and location. We were traveling by train/bus, and it was easy to get to even with our luggage. It was also a quiet location, and convenient for exploring Orvieto. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Very friendly and nice hotel. To get here from train station- take the funicular up 1€ then walk straight up the street approx 200yds and make a right on the street it is a little way down on the left. It actually is longer if you take the bus. Hotel h standard euro breakfast but has free wi-fi !!!
City is so small walking everywhere is easy. Be sure to see the duomo and take the underground Orvieto tour.
Up the main street is Charlie's for the best pizza (note that it is back a little ways and behind a fence-like gate on the street)

Got lucky by choosing this hotel. It's small but very charming and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The walk to the Duomo and center of town was just about 5-10 minutes away. There was even free wifi and the breakfast cappuccino was excellent. I highly recommend this place.

We stayed only one night and found the room comfortable and clean. The staff at the desk were very nice and helpful. The exterior of the building is beautiful and it is in a quiet street close to the main street and also, within walking distance from the funicular. The breakfast was basic.I would stay here again and would recommend it to my friends and family.
